I will say that this location is reasonably clean. That said the dumbbell rack is always in a state of disarray. Dumbbells and barbells are left all over the gym. Massive trip hazard and a lawsuit waiting to happen. No towel service at all. Comparing this location to Newbury Park it's hard to tell these locations are run. Y the same company. I've tried the Oxnard location a number of times and it fails every time. I was so disgusted this time I ended my workout and walked out before I was done. I just couldn't focus on my training as I couldn't locate the proper equipment and had to make sure I didn't trip over anything in any walkable area. New management is desperately needed at this location.

It definitely need an upgrade. This gym feels over 50 years old but I think is only about half of that. A couple things that standout on almost every visit: I rarely see staff in the workout area for cleanup, resupply on cleaning products, or just general upkeep. Maybe that's improved a small amount lately and becomes a bigger priority but we shall see. When walking in there is almost always someone at the desk but rarely do you get greeted when arriving or on your way out. I guess that's a small thing that could make someone feel welcome. Sometimes it's the little things can go a long way. This gyms location is excellent but with little competition in the area, it seems the desire to have anything other than location isn't a priority. I think this gym could easily be a premium experience but it falls way short of that and the 2.5 star overall rating on yelp is an indicator of that.

These spaces should be cleaned and sanitized regularly, especially in a fitness facility where hygiene is so important. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that the cleaning staff are often on their phones instead of maintaining the facility. On multiple occasions, the manager has been locked in the office using a personal phone rather than being visible on the gym floor or addressing the condition of the club. Members pay a premium to work out in a clean, well-maintained environment. UFC Gym has great equipment and potential, but the lack of cleanliness, visible management, and attention to detail has significantly impacted my experience. So, the beginning of this year I hit a rough patch at the gym. The gym used to be my happy place…read more Working out was my self care and passion. But somehow it became a meaningless routine and a boring chore. I stopped going to the gym and took a break but was struggling to find the motivation to return. A friend invited me to try Trifecta, using a 3 day pass. At first it sounded too good to be true but turns out it is true and it is good lol I went in and read the full contract and everything they said matched the contract (see picture of contract below). It's $55 to start and $70 per month, unless you have 5 or more people signing up together then it's $55 a month (get your friends together and sign up!). It may sound expensive but in reality it's not. There is no price on wanting to better yourself and working on your health! It is also month to month and you're not stuck in a long term commitment if you don't want to. After my first workout I was in love with Trifecta and knew I was going to sign up. Hasan is the owner, he facilitates most classes, and words can't describe that man's passion for fitness. You can see how much he genuinely cares about the members and his gym. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. He has gone through his own fitness journey as well which makes him very relatable. There is also an instructor named Eric, He is very creative and energetic. He is also very passionate and plays great music (knows the lyrics to all the songs too lol). Brianna, another instructor, is the booty queen. She is very helpful with form, explaining how muscles work and making sure the booty gets sore- booty gains!!! The front desk staff are also very helpful and nice. The gym is an open room, with an office for privacy, bathroom and with all the workout supplies you need to have a great workout. They also sell protein powders, pre workout, waters etc but products are never pushed on members. They do not have child care, which can be an inconvenience for some- not for me because my furry kids can stay home alone lol Things I love about Trifecta: Very well structured classes- upper body day, lower body day, full body day etc. Classes start on time and last a total of 45 minutes to 60 minutes. Hasan always goes a full hour- yay! Every class has a Warm up, intense workout, and cool down! They play very fun and energetic music! They use a headset so everyone can hear what they're explaining. Their equipment is in great condition and they have equipment for all levels of fitness. They clean all their equipment, floor and bathroom- very clean gym. The classes are boot camp style but if you're working on a specific goal you can talk to the trainers and they will teach you how to achieve your goal- weight loss, strength, and how to modify workouts if necessary. The collective effervescence during class is euphorically intoxicating!! Everyone is there to workout hard and give it their all! Everyone motivates each other. It's a beautiful energetic community of individuals. In addition to the regular classes, they offer other options such as accountability programs and special challenges. Other cool things are offered like hiking groups, workouts at the beach etc. I am beyond happy I joined Trifecta, this is the best I have felt physically and mentally!

They moved the cardio upstairs and the weights downstairs which it seems they are doing in all the clubs now. I'm fine with it. My hope was that they would purchase some new cardio equipment which for the most part they didn't. This location also does not offer nearly enough classes which has driven me away to other clubs. The manager here is great and she does all she can with what she has to work with. The refresh looks good and the club is down the block from my house but unfortunately I spend very little time here. I saw one of the regional managers here not to long ago and he said new equipment is coming. I hope it is!
