My wife and I were at the no kings protest this morning, and we both had to pee really bad. We stopped by this location and I stood in line to pretend like I was going to order all my wife went to the bathroom. When she finished I went. So basically, this review is just in regards to the bathroom. The bathrooms were very clean, it did not smell like pee. The floors were not sticky. And surprisingly, even with all of the traffic because of the no Kings protest, there were still paper towels in the paper towel dispenser. So, the long and the short of it is, we really appreciate being able to use their bathroom. We appreciate the fact that it was clean, even though it had been presumably overused for the day. I took the time to review this place as an executive chef point of standards. First walking in, the atmosphere is kept clean, management showed extreme hospitality. First time here and this is how it went. The place is somewhat presentable. The girl who took my order was attentive in acknowledging me but was wrapping up a conversation on her phone. Ordered the breakfast burrito and added bacon. With a drink, I think it was around $12 bucks. First bite of my warm burrito it tasted like refrigerator burn. In my opinion, I knew the food wasn't made to order. It was reheated and previously prepped. Some potatoes were undercooked. I was so disappointed. Super dry food where you need a gallon of hot sauce to bring it back to life. I know they have a flat-top grill and it was thrown on there but there was also a microwave to reheat food in play. First things first... The beer is ICE COLD. It's such a standout spot to get an ice cold beer that I have gone there just to get a couple of drinks after work in the past! I absolutely love Fuzzys. It reminds me of a lot of things, moments in my life, and is always a go to celebratory meal for me. I've never had anything bad here, and the service is always wonderful. Only a little hungry? Grab a couple of al la carte tacos or a chips and queso. Make sure you ask what the featured taco is! When I was there last week it was a spicy shrimp taco. It was great! My go to meal here is the tempura fish burrito. I know you are thinking, "fish burrito?" But LISTEN.... It is one of a kind delicious. Get it smothered in queso and your life will never be the same. This location is so special to me because it's a hop, skip and a jump from campus. Some days I like to catch a quick meal and drink here, then just walk the downtown area. Parking is ample, too. Fuzzy's has one down hill big time!! The restaurant was dirty and it was barely lunch time . I ordered two Mahi Mahi tacos and they stunk so bad it almost made me throw up which means they were bad as in not edible !! I eat Mahi Mahi all the time and it's not a very "stinky" fish at all . This is definitely one way to get your customers sick . I also ordered a beef fajita taco and it only had about 4 pieces of small beef in it. The guacamole was runny and wasn't freshly made ! It has been a long time since I have eaten at Fuzzy Taco's. Found myself near the Abrams location around lunch time. I was excited to have some Fuzzy tacos for lunch. Start our great, girl at counter was very friendly. I ordered bacon, potato, egg, and cheese buritto. Everything after that was a disaster in dinning. I got my cup and filled it with the Mango tea. Had to dump it, tasted like it was a week old, and not a bit of mango flavor. Refilled with cola, dumped that because it was all carb water. Third time I settled for the sweet tea that I had to add S&L to to make it sweet. They called my number and I picked up by burrito. Wow! it was a big, fat, fully stuffed burrito. I open it up, covered the end in butt burning sauce, oh yeah. First bite, I tasted burned potato's and bacon pieces. Next bite wasn't much better, hard crispy burnt pieces. While in my hands the tortilla wrapping my buttito started to fall apart. The eggs are wet and runny, soaking the flour tortilla to the point it's falling apart. How the heck do you burn and under cook something at the same time? I tried dumping the contents onto the red basket and eating with a fork. The runny eggs scared me, so I stooped eating, I didn't want to get sick from raw eggs. I would of had them remake it but I had to get back to work. Big lost of $13 dollars. I would give this place a 3.5. The food was really just ok. We are from out of town so you can account for culture differences in our reviews. I found the meat to be rather unflavorful. The cheese to meat ratio in the quesadilla ratio was a bit off. The portions here are very big (as I think many things in Texas are) so that was nice. My favorite thing we ordered on this menu were the margaritas. The beeritas were cute and surprisingly so good. I also had a margarita on the rocks which was good, however the frozen marg/beerita was much better. Overall would not come back for food, but margaritas were surpringly very good! read more

Don't get me wrong I love fuzzys but it just not a place I frequent. The customer service is fine, they have drink specials every day and they have a large dinning area. What I don't like is the way they prep their taq aacos. They put too much garnish on the tacos like cilantro and lettuce. There's been a couple of times where there was more garnish then meat. There have been a handful of times where they made my tacos and they just put the 2 tortillas and tossed the ingredients in without bothering to separate the individual tacos. There's other restaurants out there that have better tacos that are more authentic. I personally like authentic mexican street tacos over Tex Mex but fuzzys is still a good place to eat. read more

The lady at the register made me pay $2.70 for a cup of water so instead of getting the water I decided I might as well get an actual drink after paying she then tells me all they have is Coke Zero, Sprite or Sweet Tea. First, sweet tea was disgusting no where near sweet then after asking for a Sprite this lady proceeds to give me 2 CANS OF SPRITE!! I was baffled!! I just feel like if I wanted canned drink I could've went to corner store & got them for 75 cents each!! Then I get my food & the Baja shrimp taco was DRENCHED in sauce very soggy & disgusting! I always hate having to downgrade a review, but this Fuzzy's location has gone downhill in both food quality and customer service. The crispy taco shells and chips for the queso are often stale and they are super duper cheap about putting cheese in their tacos. One time I asked for extra cheese and there was no difference at all other than the cost of the taco.. which by the way is double or more compared to other mexican fast food joints. For almost $3.00 per taco, you should be stuffing as much cheese in there as can humanly fit. On my last order, you could not even tell there was any cheese on them at all aside from a few tiny specs. The last straw for me for this Fuzzy's was a to-go order I called in. When I picked up my order the girl only gave me half the order. If I hadn't gone to a table and taken everything out of the bag, I would not have known. When asked where the rest of my order is, she turned around and said Oops , sorry .. there was a second bag on the counter. I also had to ask for a cup for the drink I paid for because she didn't bother to look at the receipt. I can't stress how important it is to make sure you are giving someone everything they ordered when they are ordering to go. I would have been livid if I had driven home to find out half my order was missing. Fuzzy's you need to teach your employees to look at the receipt for to-go orders and make absolute sure the customer is getting everything they ordered. It's YOUR responsibility to do this, not theirs. Take everything out of the bag and double check before they leave. It might take an extra 2-3 minutes to do this, but don't you think it would be worth it to avoid reviews like this? read more

I try to give places more than one chance to show me good service and quality, and they have continually fallen short. The last straw was a birthday lunch. They screwed up my order, charged me two dollars for water and I had to jump through hoops to fix it. The food was sub par and tiny portions for the money. Definitely done with fuzzys. Save your money and go to a better place, like Taco Bell . Seriously, no joke. I hate Taco Bell but would eat there before I ever go to Fuzzy's again read more

Service is quick during lunch hours which is a bonus for me. The queso here is fantastic with their flavored chips. I can drink the entire cup of queso. It's a white queso that is seasoned perfectly. I always order the seasoned ground beef tacos on corn tortilla. It is very good. Definitely a convenient place for eat at when you're restricted on time. read more

I'm glad Fuzzy's has a vegetarian option! I enjoyed the grilled veggie tacos along with their chips and salsa, yum!! I also had a regular lime margarita, on the rocks. It was pretty good; I mean, there was barely any tequila, but nonetheless the lime was tasty lol. I've always had a good customer service experience here and the restaurant has always been nice and clean. I gave 3 stars because the food/drinks were "A-OK", but there's just something missing. I've gone to other taco chains and have been thoroughly impressed with their vegetarian options and creativity! (It's not just lettuce, tomatoes and cheese) If Fuzzy's would get a little more creative with their menu I'd probably visit more often. read more

Came to this GP location and OMG... never again. First the guy charging seemed like he didn't want to be here. It's about 4:00pm there's like maybe 3 tables here, the place is dirty and the guy at the register ain't doing crap... wasn't cleaning the tables either. I ordered shredded chicken nachos to go and was very disappointed. They forgot the garlic sauce, the chips were super stale and also did not have the fuzzys dust (which you can see in the photo). After eating most of the food, I found this giant nasty black chip. I had to throw the rest of the food away. I have had previous problems with this location and probably will not return.
