Lunch hour! I got to Fuzzy's a little before noon so no long line, Thank you God! I always get the shredded chicken tacos and some quac and of course they have delicious iced tea. I believe they have unsweet, sweet and mango. The mango is really good if you ever want to try it. The parking lot is nice and big, but I am sure it gets pretty full at peak times. The piano outside....eclectic but I like it. Love always wins! The employee that took my order wasnt very friendly but she was on a mission and got my order correct so that is the most important thing! Fuzzy's is so good! Lately, my friends and I have been religiously ..... we would be here at least twice a week. The food is just so good. The customer service could be better, the employees don't ever really smile. They know the menu and the restaurant very well, I just wish they showed a little enthusiasm when greeting customers and not look like they hate their job so much. Location is always clean and very spacious as well. The food is awesome like I said. I usually get the fried tempura fish taco, beef fajita, chicken salad, beef fajita quesadilla, and the chips and queso. They have the best queso so far in my book! I frequent the Fuzzy's at Bricktown in Oklahoma City & LOVE it. One of my favorite items is the appetizer bowl of quacamole. Unfortunately, this location sells you a bowl of lettuce with just enough quacamole to hide the lettuce. What's ironic is that everyone in my group ordered their tacos without lettuce and then we essentially received a bowl of lettuce as an appetizer. I've eaten several times at the ones on Race and University, but the Arl one is my fav. They seem to have their own sense of 'portion control' - in our favor - which means their tacos are stuuuuuffed with goodness. Want to be a pro? Figure out what you want BEFORE you get to the counter. See that menu hanging above the register? The one you can *read* from across the street? Do NOT get to the counter and look up and say, "Let's see, what do I want. I just don't know. What is this 'fish taco' of which you speak?" A lot of my friends aren't a fan of Fuzzy's, so I'm quite embarrassed I like it as much as I do. Fuzzy's never fails us. It's a solid choice when we're feeling lazy in the kitchen. My boyfriend and I always get the chicken enchiladas and drown it in their butt burning sauce. It not too spicy like the name suggests, but it gives the enchiladas a nice sour tang. It usually comes out to $14 with 2 enchilada plates and water. Such a cheap and filling meal. We recently starting coming here for drinks! $6 for an iced margarita and $8 for marg on the rocks; it's even cheaper during happy hour. They have a variety of flavors including strawberry, prickly pear, mango, sangria, and classic lime. I usually go for the original with salt, since the flavored margs can sometimes be too sweet with the fruit syrup they use. I also think you get less alcohol by diluting it with the syrup, and I would much rather just have the alcohol than the sugar, am I right? My boyfriend and his buddies chip in for a beer tower at $15 for Pabst Blue Ribbon beer tower, and I think a few more bucks for some of the premium beers like Shiner, Dos Equis, and Texas Red off the top of my head. You need 3 IDs with a beer tower, and it's the equivalent of about 8 beers (100 fl oz or 6 chalices that Fuzzy's supplies you). Our beer tower spout was DIRTY! I'm sure it was mold, but by the time I realized it, they already had a good buzz going and didn't care. We even got another beer tower, and they were having too much fun to ask for a clean tower. Fuzzy's is a great hangout spot! It definitely gets the job done - cheap food and cheap drinks. Can't complain. read more

I have one complaint about the Fuzzy's in Arlington: inconsistency. Literally every time I have gone there has been something slightly off or wrong. This last time I went for lunch on a Monday and the queso wasn't quite warm enough, wasn't quite smooth enough. It was still chunky, luke warm, awkward. No idea what the buzz is about Fuzzy's Taco Shop. Went for drinks and dinner with my husband and our friend. She had a big salad, which looked good but not great. I ordered one shredded chicken soft taco and one ground beef soft taco. Not a bad deal for $2 each but there was more produce on them than I expected - it buried the flavor of the meat, cheese and garlic sauce. Really loud, lots of college kids (understandable since this is the UTA location) and just not a great place to hang out and try to have a conversation. Will likely go back because everyone I know digs this place, but it's not on my top 50 list! read more

Located in one of the least pleasant parts of Arlington, Fuzzy's Tacos is great for what it is. I came here and had reasonably OK shrimp tacos and decent margaritas with large portions at great prices. We tried some beans and fried potatoes as sides, and they were OK. I also tried a fish taco which was worse than OK, very fishy. The place was crowded on a Thursday evening, and the atmosphere was very laid back and fun. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and it's a great place to just hang out if you're in the UTA area. The hours are good and the food is post-drinking heaven, so I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up back here, but I won't go out of my way for it. read more

I'm a huge fan of all the Fuzzy's locations. I especially like the original location on E. Berry Street. I frequent many of the different locations when I can. I almost always stick to my tried and true order, the shredded pork tacos in a crispy shell. Fuzzy's also has some of the best queso in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It is wonderful and creamy. This place was crowded on a friday night, and for good reason: it makes good food. the atmosphere at fuzzys is super welcoming and fun: it's loud and the colors and decor are bold and bright. Even though the line was long when we got there, the food came out quickly, so no problems there either. Basically, the place just serves your typical mexican fare, but they do it right. I had the one shrimp tempura taco and one fish tempura taco. Both were really tasty, but if I to narrow it to one, I'd go for the fish tempura tacos. You get huge chunks of fresh tempura fish, and there was a good balance of lettuce, tomato, and cheese in each taco. I ordered a side of potatoes and rice, and both were also really good. For the price you pay, you get a huge platter of food--but trust me, you will finish it all. We also got their fuzzyrita which is a frozen margarita with an upside down beer bottle sticking out the top. I'm normally not a fan of margaritas at all and I only got it at someone's suggestion, but it was surprisingly delicious. Expect to down that whole thing too when you're here. Overall, I had a really good first experience here. The food is worth the hype and you should definitely order the standout tempura fish tacos. read more

This has been THE hangout spot when I was in college. I've been here almost every week during school, and it has always been a pleasurable experience. DoorDash order for me and my family. Before I placed the order I had a question about the menu so I called ahead to confirm. Everything perfect except they left out my breakfast taco plate. The receipt on the bag was correct though and I know stuff happens. I called and told them I was missing an item and the employee even said "ahh yeah sorry about that" I assume he meant not putting it in the bag. Consistently great service and food at this location for years. I don't know why I bother with other Fuzzy's as this one is always a good choice. My favorites are the"beerita" (used to be called "fuzzyrita") which is a margarita with a beer stuck in it upside down. And the shredded beef tacos. And the beef bowl with chimichurri sauce. And the chips & queso. And the fish tacos. I really want to try the migas sometime but I'm never up that early! read more

Oh Fuzzy's ... it's been about 5 or so years since my last visit (my first to this location) and this will probably be the end to my Fuzzy's era. My daughter & I visited UTA for a college tour & wanted to top a great experience off with a nice meal before embarking on our 5hr drive home. I ordered a taco plate with minimal modifications (no feta), easy. My daughter inquired about the veggie quesadilla - the young lady taking our order said: There are veggies, black beans, garlic sauce, pico ... Cool. My daughter requested a bean & cheese quesadilla, no pico & garlic sauce on the side. Easy, too. Right? Nope .... Quesadilla #1 - fully loaded (pico & all). I returned it with the receipt to show what we ordered just as we ordered it. The cook said remaking it would be no problem. Ok, nice. Quesadilla #2 - squash, zucchini & whatever other veggie with beans. I approached the young lady who took our order & simply requested a refund ... this is 2x the quesadilla was made incorrectly, even though the receipt said what we ordered. She asked me if she could get the manager because "We don't normally do that," aka refunds, I'm assuming. The manager comes out & asks if there's a problem. I review what happened & he looked like I was asking for free tacos for life. I showed him the receipt & I simply requested my $8 to be refunded because they incorrectly made the bean & cheese quesadilla twice. He tried to refer to the menu board to show me that what was made is what we ordered, but again... that's not what we ordered, either time. Again, I requested a refund ... he's squirming & says, "I mean, we really don't do that. Can I just make a cheese quesadilla?" At this point, I'm ready to be on level 10 of "Hell no", but daughter chimes in (to the rescue): Sure ... that's fine. She's a young adult, I'm working on balancing being momma bear & promoting autonomy, but her agreeing wasn't so she could get a quesadilla, it was to spare this guy. $8 ... The little devil on my shoulder wanted to send the 3d one back just for GP, but I'm working on some things & I can't behave like that. But I wanted to .... $8. I've came to this location a few times and have left content every time . The food is delicious and inexpensive. The drinks are very enjoyable as well ! You have to try the big red margarita or the blue moon margarita . It tastes like an alcoholic orange icecream ! The food is full of flavor and definitely text mex I just wish they had spicier food items. I love the green shrimp enchiladas with their white rice. My husband, 2 year old, and I Came in during lunch on a Friday. It wasn't overly crowded and we were serviced pretty much immediately. The cashier was "meh" not super friendly but not rude either, kinda just there. We spent about $22 which seemed a little expensive but they didn't have lunch specials from what I saw. We ordered the nacho kids meal which was a HUGE portion for a kid but was great bang for your buck at around 4 bucks and change. We also ordered chips and queso, the 2 taco (brisket)plate (included 2 sides or your choice but no drink) and a shrimp quesadilla which was the ONLY item we received HOT. The atmosphere was okay as was the experience and food in itself...we may return but I'm not in a hurry to. UPDATE: Visted again and grabbed a fish salad, BEST AVACADO RANCH DRESSING!
