I mainly come for the chip and queso with extra fuzzy sauce! The queso is soooo warm and yummy!! And the fuzzy sauce is just a spicy powder seasoning on the chips. As for the baja tacos, they're okay. I use to like the tempera fish tacos but after trying it again recently, it was too fishy, and not that great anymore. The seasoned pork was good though! Be careful of their butt-burning sauce... You think it's not spicy at first, but as you pour more it really is firey! good sauce though! Fuzzy is super causal, you order at the cashier and they give you a buzzer, and then you go pick up the food at the kitchen counter. They have a separate bar though & patio. Great fried fish taco, not very good grilled fish tacos but the fried fish tacos are my Kryptonite. They have great queso and their new menu item the street corn is great. They have good charro beans too and the mexi- mix rice is okay. Don't get he Oreo churros thought they sound good if your an Oreo fan but they are not good. I heart Fuzzy's and this location is no exception. The location is not very convenient and there is a bit of construction on Matlock around the corner but this Fuzzy's is worth sitting in a few extra minutes of traffic. The food is consistent with the Berry location in Fort Worth and the margaritas are just as tasty. Customer service is great and all employees are friendly. The restaurant is also spacious with an additional bar and outdoor seating. I will definitely be back to visit once it warms up to experience the patio. read more

Eaten at a dozen Fuzzy's Tacos all over North Texas. They are always exceptional...food, service, atmosphere, decor, overall experience. This one did not disappoint. I had previously only tried fish tacos, tempura shrimp tacos and a few breakfast items. Decided to try the grilled shrimp quesadilla today...wow! It was fantastic! Loaded with shrimp and cheese, grilled perfectly crisp and the portion size makes for plenty of lunch all by itself. I usually order the chips and queso, but didn't today. I would have left a lot of food on the table. Less than ten bucks with a large refillable Coke. So much better than most other options for about the same money. I'm a believer. read more

I really love Fuzzy's breakfast tacos. That being said, honestly my last experience was so disturbing that I don't think I'll ever be able to eat there again. I'm eating my tacos with a cup of the fire roasted salsa. I see what looks to be a pepper skin...maybe. Upon pulling it out I realize it's a fire roasted 3" piece of gorilla tape. I wish I had the thought to take a picture to prove how disgusting this was. Instead I took it straight to the manage who seemed pretty taken aback considering how outrageous this was. It's so weird a thing to find in your food I'm sure he thought it was some way for me to get my 14$ back or some joke....I assure you this was no joke! We came here to get some fish tacos cause of Ash Wednesday . The cashier was nice and helped us with the order . I ordered three of the California heat with fish I asked for no bacon . So we wait for about 15 minutes and we get our food and it has bacon . I take it back and the lady in blue rolls her eyes and takes the basket but not the tray . So I ask her here's the tray and says no . So I just go away and ignore it . So about 5 minutes pass by the lady in blue comes leaves it and goes without saying anything like she's miserable . I'm eating my tacos and find out they just picked out the bacon and find bacon in and around the taco . Very disappointed with this visit . I will never return to this location again . read more

Ordered GrubHub delivery. Missing one taco when delivered. Called this Fuzzy's for help. Told me to come back in to get. How convenient is that since I had it delivered to avoid going in. Left me on the phone while he consulted Ernesto the Mgr and he said they would 'write my name on the board' and next time I came in they would give me one free. How would I trust them to follow through on that when they couldn't get it right the first time? Then told me to call GH. After 25 mins of jacking with these people I supposedly got a refund. I have been to this Fuzzy's about 4 times over the last 8 months. Giving it a chance to redeem itself each time. It failed miserably! Idk if this Fuzzy's is owned differently or something but it's not the same as the other Fuzzy's locations I've been to across the metroplex. My food is NEVER consistent w/ what is included in those items on the menu & its NEVER hot! I wait 20-30 minutes each time for lukewarm food?! Ugh! The employees are ALWAYS rude, even when there are only 3 people in the restaurant. I was not a big fan of their tacos. I have had much better Baja tacos. I got the shrimp soft tacos. They were soggy at the bottom. There was way too much lettuce. I didn't like the cheese they used. They used sharp cheddar and feta cheese. The shrimp on my tacos were probably the only thing good about it. You can choose from flour or corn tortilla. I had both but did not like either much. I couldn't even finish my two tacos which is not normal for me. The area is never packed so if you are wanting a quick stop then you should try it but just know that these are not very good tacos. Went to Fizzys again today. Had the combo plate with a beef enchilada, pork tamale, refried beans and mexi-rice. It was allll good. All the food was hot, in the past my food has come warm/cold, which I still enjoyed with much delight. Hot is definitely better though. Everything was well seasoned. The enchilada came with this delicious dipping sauce which it didn't need. All the food was very filling. I treated myself to their dreamy creamy original cheesecake, it's worth the $3.50 price tag. This restaurant may have the best breakfast tacos I've ever had. This Fuzzy's has a large bar for evening time activities and plenty of tv screens to see all of the games. Walked in and stood around for about 10 minutes before I had to pull my Compass out to find the bar. Once I sat down I was ignored by some girl with eyebrows sponsored by Crayon for about 15 minutes. I love me some Fuzzy's! They have the best chips and salsa! We don't like a bunch of craziness on our tacos, so we just get brisket tacos with meat and cheese only. They're great and reheat perfectly! The breakfast taco plates are at the top of my list! I especially like the potato egg & cheese! The shredded beef nachos are also amazing! I haven't tried much else, but everything I have tried was tasty! Some taco places have gotten a bit crazy with their prices, but Fuzzy's has stayed reasonable! Give them a shot! read more

Been here several times but the latest visit wasn't the best. I have always loved Fuzzy's and was excited when this location opened. I just wasn't impressed with my last visit in Mid January 2014. We have always loved the white queso but it seems they have changed to the regular yellow queso. I guess it wouldn't be that big of a deal accept it wasn't good. It also seems the tortilla chips and taco shells were different and not for the better. I walked away from this experience disappointed and concerned that the quality may be on the downhill slide. Okay, 1st I want to say that I LOVE this restaurant and WE been here many times, but tonight was just weird and a little bit disappointing. We made the mistake of ordering sopapillas for dessert along with our main dishes. Now we've done this before and never had a problem but they've changed the way that they are serving them. You used to get a bowl of nice warm dipping sauce on the side. Now, they've started dripping the sauce onto the dish before they serve it. That would be fine except of course by the time we finished our dinner our desert was icy cold. Here's the funny part. The desert cost only $2. When I went up to the window and ask them if they had a way to warm them up because they were cold. I was told that I shouldn't have ordered them along with my main meal, which I've already said was never a problem before. So he asked me, like I was a professional, how I wanted him to warm the dessert up. And he started telling me what my options were. I could either have them microwaved and Soggy or they could be refried frosting intact and I suppose serve to me again with fried frosting or perhaps more frosting. I asked him what the best thing to do was and he said he didn't know that it was up to me. So I said - you could always replace them and you should have seen the look on his face. Now as I've said we are regular customers and the dish cost $2. You would think the idea was like the end of the world. He basically gave me a look and rolled his eyes and said well this time I will do that, but next time you should order them after your meal. I was so surprised but I just looked at him and said okay, let's do that. Now they normally come in a dish of 8. We had eaten one to try it out, cold, so there were only 7 on my plate. He was generous enough to replace my dessert with exactly the number of cold ones I had given him. I don't know who the manager was but he had holes in his ears and looked like I was not really his priority. Fortunately, the rest of our food was good and one of the servers even came over to clear our table. So that's it for my mixed review and this is a lesson for you. If you want to eat the sopapiallas, you better order them after your meal! read more

I was real excited about this restaurant coming to Mansfield. However, I am so not impressed with the service. The first time I went I figured they were just new and busy....very slow bar service and slow food at 4 on a Sunday right after they opened. The second visit 7/4 weekend I noticed my soup was just beans and corn but is listed as "chicken tortilla soup"....When I pointed out that the soup had no chicken in it, looked like it was chili, and was different than what was served to me at other locations....the waitress AND manager looked at me like I had 2 heads. They literally just stood there in silence. No attempt to help or explain anything. Will not be back. Too many other options out there. read more

The very first time I went here was great. I came with my husband the atmosphere was fun and the food was good. The second time I ordered my food to go with a friend and let me tell you I got home and was eating my food and there was hair in it so. I threw that portion of the food away. I had two separate orders I started eating my nachos and spit it out right away there was literally a glob of hair in my food I wanted to throw up I was so angry and didn't even bother going back it was not worth my time this was two years ago.
