I have been eating at Fuzzy's Taco Shop since I discovered the original one on West Berry street in Fort Worth one late night that must have been nearly fifteen years ago. I was an instant fan. When one opened up in Weatherford, I was excited not to have to drive half an hour for some great tacos. For many years, Fuzzy's has been a frequent stop and there is not much on the menu that I would not recommend trying from their Chips and Queso, to their many Salads, Nachos and Burritos, but it is a Taco Shop afterall, so that is what I chose to review. Today I went with the Taco Plate with two Fajita Beef Taco, Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. I also tried one of their California Heat specialty tacos to my utter enjoyment. I don't think there is a taco on the menu that I dislike, but the California Heat was spectacular. Fried shrimp, bacon, avocado slices, pico de gallo, feta and a sriracha-lime sauce caused an explosion of flavor with every bite. I would recommend trying one if you stop by. There are plenty of other things to choose from on the menu as well including Breakfast, Quesadillas and awesome fajita filled Burrito Bowls. Not to mention their great sides. They have the best Borracho Beans to be found. I would recommend stopping in and trying the place out. My bet is that you won't be disappointed. The only thing that every disappointed me was when they did away with their Fried Crawfish tacos, such a loss will be sorely missed. read more

When we walked in at 8:50 I was worried they closed at 9 because all the chairs were already out up on the table. The girl working the register could barely be bothered to respond to questions as you ordered. Perhaps she was too busy having a conversation with whomever she was talking to on her AirPods rude and uninterested. As the food came out to our table of 6 the AirPod lady started putting treys on our table with no indication as to which taco was what and we had to have her come back to help us sort it out twice because she once agin was uninterested is helping paying customers. Once we got our food I noticed there was no hot sauce on the table so I was going to grab one off another table but they had already collected them and had the tops off refilling them an hour before they closed. I had to go back to the lady with the AirPods to ask for hot sauce and she told me to get one from another table. When I mentioned there weren't any she had to track one down which she was very put out by. It was clear that none of the kids working there wanted to be there because they were closing and shutting down a full hour before they were closing. I'll be shocked if this location makes it unless things change. Judging from the reviews it's an ongoing problem. Two stars instead of one because the food was pretty good. read more

The food was ok, but a friend and I ordered the $5 Cali Style Taco with drink that was advertised on the wall and all I can say is I've never in my life saw French fries on a taco and there isn't in the pic on the wall either. I didn't complain since it was just $5 but I won't order it again either. The cooks in the kitchen on Saturday at lunch were rude as well. They acted like I was taking time out of their day that they didn't have when I took them the receipt to get my chips and queso. read more

Went Sunday 7/28 with my wife and in-laws. Out of the four of us, three of us had something wrong with our order.  When I was ordering I asked for the taco plate with two ground beef tacos and an extra shrimp taco. While I was in the middle of ordering, the girl taking my order stopped and had a full on conversation in Spanish with another worker while I stood there awkwardly.  When we got our food, she had only rang up two tacos for me, 1 ground beef and 1 shrimp. Wife ordered fish tacos with no cilantro, they came out with almost extra cilantro. Father-in-law's burrito was cold to the touch, like it had come out of the fridge. When he took it up, the cook took it out of the wrapper and threw it on the grill for 30 seconds. Coke in the soda machine was flatter than a board. Wife and I walked out and said "Well that sucked" and that we would not be visiting this Fuzzy's again despite it being so close to our house. read more

I know Fuzzy's is a taco shop but if you're looking for a great salad this is a place to go. We get salads there more than anything else. They come with ckn, beef, brisket or fajita. All good. We had salsa as a dressing. read more

Place feels like it needs to be cleaned. Food took quite awhile even though the restaurant was only about half full. My fajita taco was good and hubs sad his food was good. We will continue to visit as the food is on the inexpensive side. If management sees this I would just have employees run through the dining room every once in awhile to clean tables, empty trash and pick up tubs with used items from previous diners meals. read more

Got there at 10:34 on a Saturday night. When I ordered the hosted said we couldn't have beer cause they already cleaned Al she said last call at 10:30. Ordered chicken tacos and said she didn't have any chicken. Ordered kids meal said they didn't have chores. Very rude. If you want to be cleaned up by 10:30 then close at 10:00. Don't have a special Thursday thru Saturday and close early. Terrible service! read more

First time eating here. It wasn't bad but also was y something exceptionally amazing. I ordered the spicy pork burrito and it was supposed to be smothered with green sauce but instead came with a side of queso. The pork wasn't spicy so I'm not sure what was supposed to be. Overall the burrito was ok. The "Butt burnin sauce" both habanero and original wasn't hot. The habanero one legitimately tasted like Tabasco but the original had its own flavor. Waited 30 minutes after ordering and no food. Went up and asked someone to check on our order and we were told that they were working on it. 10 more minutes and they say that it is ready. It's not at all the food that I ordered so I show them my receipt and they say that they are working on it. 10 more minutes of watching them make and hand out other peoples orders I decide I've had enough. Walked in workers were kind and helpful. They have lots of various options on their menu and good prices too! Also loved their atmosphere and music they were playing. It was our first time at a fuzzy tacos. Our first impression wasOf the young man that was taking our order. He absolutely should not be the first person any customer sees. You could see was disgusted as we were trying to figure out what we wanted. We found a table that we liked and it was dirty we asked him to clean it off he came over and sprayed not only the table but me and wiped it very Nonchalantly and in a hurry. Went in on a Sunday evening and the line was out the door. Was surprised it was so busy but we patiently stood in line as it slowly meandered on. It was only after about 5 minutes did I realize this line was painfully slow, I then looked around the dining room a saw a lot of people but not a lot of food. I should have taken this as a warning sign, my kids already grew restless and started running around the dining room. I took a seat to wrangle the kiddos while my better half continued to wait in the slow moving line. Another 5 minutes and my wife comes to our table with the buzzer. She said the worker at the counter seemed new so maybe that's why the line moved so slow. 20 minutes later and we broke the record for longest time to wait for fuzzy's. We've come on cinco de Mayo and dollar taco night and never has food moved out of that kitchen so slow. I stated making rounds walking by the window to see what was going on in the kitchen. I wasn't the only one as a crowd started forming to stare at the kitchen workers in an effort to rush the pace. Or was just a guy and a girl moving slow and looking pretty lost. I look at the line as it's still to the door and I think about warning the people in line, to turn and walk across the street to the burger place. 25 mins after ordering I decide to just post up and wait. I see my tacos hit the window but my buzzer stays silent. My kids chicken strips aren't up yet but. I watch my long awaited for tacos begin to cool under the cold stares of other patrons. Finally my kid's "chicken strip dinner" hit the window and my buzzer finally released its buzzy tingle. My wife's tacos were cold, my food was still somewhat warm, but that final plate of chicken was the real Joke. A Couple scraps of chicken that looked like leftovers from trimming the fajita meat were on my son's plate. No rice at all, but at least the sopapillas were there for me to bury my emotions with. Pitiful kids plate, cold food, and a tremendous wait. I might come here again because my woman loves it but if I ever see a dining room full of empty plates I'm going to turn and run away. read more

My family and I order Fuzzy's (Weatherford) from door dash. We had to wait 45 minutes for the food. Which is understandable, however the order was completely wrong! So, we call to see, if it could be change. Manager Marcus, stated absolutely but you would have to pick up. Going great right, well when my daughter goes to up there. Manager Marcus, snatches the the receipt from my daughter's hands, tells her she will have to wait another 45 minutes, yells at her that it was HER fault the order was wrong, and then proceeded act like he wanted to fight her to the point her boyfriend steps in between them. I attempted to call and speak with him while she is there and he REFUSED to come to the phone. I have attempted to contact the GM through this site, phones calls and with no response! After an hour, we get our food that is STILL wrong. read more

Just wanted to pop off a quick review and mention this was a great Fuzzy's experience. I've been hitting Fuzzy's since the first one near TCU. I've always considered the franchised locations OK, but nothing to rave about (other than draft beer selections are usually quite good). That opinion changed upon our visit to the Weatherford location. Customer service was top notch, as we were checked on several times as we sat on the patio. Previous Fuzzy's experiences have been "served and forgotten" but this visit broke the mold. If more Fuzzy's followed this model I would frequent them more often. I am hoping the new Granbury location (opening soon) will be a similar experience, as it will be a great addition to Granbury. Also it seems like this location is much more generous with the protein portion of the food than other locations I have been too. While the food hit the standard Fuzzy's notes for taste, it was a welcome surprise to actually see beef and pork falling out of the taco shells! Nice touch Weatherford Fuzzy's! PS. I was told that the owner of this franchise also has a Fuzzy's in Decatur,.and that location has a bar. Now that's something I'd like to check out. Again, I hope the Granbury location will emulate this. read more

Someone in our family goes here once a week, we love it! Their shredded chicken burritos are yummy but their nachos are the bomb ! It's all in the garlic sauce . Their margaritas seem to be a hit, I have only tried their mango margarita wasn't the best but I will wait to give my two cents after I try the classic. If you don't check your order before you leave it is guaranteed to be wrong. And if you call to inquire about your order you, the customer are in the wrong.
