Worst designed restaurant... the menu is too small to see, and the set up is very poorly set up... no option for 0 tip when I'm ordering at a counter and going to get my food from a counter... then the food was basically inedible. The beans tasted like cheap canned beans, the cilantro lime rice was stale and brown and tasted days old. The tacos meat tasted cheap and over cooked and that aoili was gross. I've been on a taco kick lately. The first time I wanted to check this place out, it looked so busy so Hubs and I decided to go somewhere else. But then we drove by on Sunday, late afternoon, and it was still pretty busy. We just hoped there would be an empty table for us, and there was! You have to order first and then find yourself an open table. We got the beef nachos, fried shrimp tacos, fried fish taco, steak taco, and pork tacos. Our favorites hands down were the fried shrimp and fried fish tacos! We'll definitely be back for those. Side note: I managed to knock my cup over twice--at two different tables---once when the cup was empty and once when it was full of water. This location isn't very good anymore. Today is taco Tuesday and I expected it to be busy. There were only about 10 customers. While ordering my food, I attempted to order the $2 margarita which is advertised at the table. The cashier said they only had $4 margaritas. After waiting 20min for my food, I asked where it was. They had no idea. My buzzer never went off and it was like they had lost my order. Once I finally received my food, it was sloppily prepared and cold. It is one thing to highly suggest we put a tip on for someone that actually brings our food and drinks to us, but not when we have to get our food and drinks, much less when most employees there have attitude problems. I have been to the locations in my home state of Texas Ft Worth and they seem to be better but I don't know what's wrong with this location in Wichita Ks. So, I'm just gonna start with the ingredients for their Medium "Butt Burnin' Hot Sauce: Distilled Vinegar, Ketchup (Tomatoes, Distilled Vinegar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Salt, Spices, Onion Powder, Natural Flavoring), Aged Red Peppers, Spices, Salt, Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate (added as a preservative), Xanthan Gum Ya'll... the 'butt burnin' hot sauce is vinegar and ketchup. I ordered the brisket taco and the spicy pork taco, side of beans and cilantro-lime rice, and guacamole and chips. It tasted fine. Except, I don't know where they put the spices for the spicy pork. Not on the pork, obviously. There was absolutely nothing 'spicy' about it. Beans were beans. Rice was alright. Guac and chips were fine. It was all fine. But nothing to write home about and with several independent, family-run taco joints throughout the city, it's a damn shame that this is probably going to be the most successful. read more
