Haven't been to Chilis in almost 20 years. We decided to give them a try because of the viral triple dipper. awe came in around 1pm got seated right away and ordered. The staff was friendly. We ordered a triple dipper with mozzarella cheese sticks, southwest egg rolls, and nashville crisper. Wife have cajun chicken pasta and i had the 3 for me with the smasher burger. The food was better than what i thought. The southwest egg was probably the best item we had. I was hoping to try the mozzarella cheese sticks but the waitress got our order wrong. We let her know and she asked if we wanted her to drop some for us and we said yes. Well it's been about 25 minutes and we are done with our meal and still have not seen her. Don't know where she's at. it's really sad because after 20 years we gave Chilis another shot and the food was good but the service was horrible for the last half of our meal. i would definitely give them a 4 or maybe 5 star if the server didn't get missing for the last 25 minutes and counting! Absolutely horrible customer service. I placed an order through their website and decided to choose delivery instead of me going and picking it up. When I received the text message about my order I noticed that address was incorrect by one number. Since I made the reservation and paid for through the Chili's website I called them to get it changed. The guy that answered said there wasn't anything he could and they were in the middle of rush and he didn't have time to mess with it. I called Grubhub and they said like I thought that since I made it through Chili's website it had to go through them. I called Chili's back and spoke to a manager and told him the situation and said if they can't change the address I wanted to cancel the order. He said you made it through GrubHub I can't cancel it. Our server had only been on the floor two days. He wasn't the issue. Our appetizer came out cold so we sent it back and it came out boiling. It was so bad the steam from the queso filled the area and it smelled burnt. My husband got the manager. I wish I got his name. He was so unprofessional. He blamed the server. I don't care if it was the servers fault as a manager you don't blame your employees. He should have apologized and fixed it. He went as far as going to the kitchen to take pictures to show us how the question was made and that the server was the one who prepared the queso. Our server was not the person to bring out the queso. Then my husband's potato and broccoli was cold. That same manager was who we spoke to he placed blame on the cook. Again unprofessional. The only reason we go here is the Skillet Queso, every other visit we've had has been lacking. My wife actually requests not even considering it. Long story short, they cannot make a steak to save their life. In one visit we had to send back a steak 3 times, and it still wasn't right. They did mail out vouchers, but was certified mail, so it wasn't delivered(I was at work). The GM personally dropped off the vouchers and even added to them, due to the troubles. Overall they are making the effort so I am willing to give them another chance. Ordered the $17.99 combo 6oz Sirloin(Medium Rare) & Margarita Chicken, the steak was Rare and the chicken was cold. We ordered some appetizers, the fried pickles were soggy and cold. Our other appetizers were fine, but definitely not making any improvements on food quality. Starting to look like damage control for poor kitchen standards. This chili's is no Applebees. No, they're not going to ban Pam Halpert from dining in, but they'll get you taken care of. The bar staff of James, Susan, Nick, and Brett are top notch. They really seem to care for their customers. They like to get to know everyone and appreciate their customer's dining experience. All of this is why there is an array of regulars who eat at the bar every night. They come for the food, but the service. Look out for Dustin, the manager. He's always out and about through the store, checking on things when he's not in the back on the grill. Sure, Chili's can be a run of the mill national chain, but this certain location is friendly and inviting. I enjoy it so much, I eat here 2-3 times a week for the last year or so. I have been frequenting this Chili's for awhile now with my girlfriend, we are a young couple. Last night we had an appetizer, salad, and two entrees. In the past we have had minor issues with courses arriving within minutes of each other, but never to the extent we had last night. Our appetizer arrived and then 4-5 minutes later our salads came and our server told us that our entrees are actually ready and asked if we'd like them. I was a little frustrated but politely asked her to keep them back in the kitchen for awhile. Not 2 minutes later our server comes with our entrees and explains that she didn't want our fries to get cold so she brought them out anyway. Great, now they can get cold while I eat my appetizer and salad. I eventually spoke to a manager who was awkward and clearly thought I was just trying to get free food because of my age. I really have an issue with restaurants that don't give their guests time to eat, especially when the restaurant is not busy at all. Really disappointed in the way management treated us, especially since we have eaten there nearly every week for a couple of months. Maybe this yelp review will help management wake up and treat guest complaints the same no matter someone's age. I can only hope!
