As easy going as I am, I still may not be the easiest customer to deal with being that I made SO MANY changes and customizations to the Crestliner I ordered. Rudie was knowledgeable and patient in all situations. I have purchased boats at other dealers and it's been a mixed bag (mostly painful). This was truly an enjoyable experience with added personal touches from the team. On the financing and deal closure side, Jody and Rich were fantastic. Jody obtained the tricky financing I requested, and made the deal closing most enjoyable. Additionally she is a walking boat regulation encyclopedia, and she provide amazing guidance on DNR regulations, Illinois government guidelines, etc. These are things I thought I knew already, as a seasoned tournament fisherman and watersport enthusiast, but found out I didn't know as much as I thought after meeting with Jody. She hooked us up so we be safe and legal at all times in my new beast Super Hawk Crestliner! Finally, Chris and David were the master technicians that installed my kicker motor and other complex modifications to this boat! Chris was very patient and informative in the boat walk through. I was looking to get the impeller replaced joe noticed the fuel filter needed replacing with fuel pump quick upcharge fine needs it get er done as they say. sent me vid of it running great, also mentioned trailer bearings need replacing. fine do that while it's there i like to support local business whenever possible Impeller was 8 yrs old other parts were original equipment super reliable motor. Everything fine till pickup paid over 1000 for probably 600 worth of work, but hey ya gotta pay to play. joe mentioned the tarp on the boat was blowing around. when i looked it was because they were too lazy to put the Bunge cords on to hold the tarp they were laying on the ground with the tarp stuffed in the boat. so i started putting the tarp on myself and had a cardiac event setting off my defibrillator 1st time in 2 yrs 4th since 2017 .should have gone and asked for help but was too stubborn. so i took several breaks and struggled on. Small things like putting the customers tarp back on matters. It shows as a business owner you care. myself being a business owner. would be like remodeling a kitchen and then taking the boxes from the cabinets and leaving them on the kitchen floor. if the amount of care taken with the tarp is any indication of the quality of the work done on my motor which is usually a pretty good indicator I'm in trouble.

(Stage Two With Cam Upgrade) He sent me quote for the work we talked about. I am a person who wants to know how things are done, I research & research what I want to buy or want to have done. I started asking questions about the build and Jason was forthcoming. I found some issues I wanted answered, typically the tuner for the bike. Jason turned me over to Nick who responded. He said he had done this build with other Harleys and it worked well. I kept coming up with more questions and I believe for this build (Trike) they just got tired of me asking away. I wanted to know how the tuner chosen by them could actually tune the Trike if it didn't have any maps for a cam upgrade? Just pipes and air cleaner. Nick responded that he had done many tunes with it and it works? For this build the bike should be dyno tuned. GP did not have a dyno for a trike. Only place was Woodstock HD. After talking more, Jason wrote back stating he didn't think they could get me to where I wanted to be so advised I go some where who could. In all, I guess I am upset somewhat that if I had not researched my build I never would have learned the issues involved in the stage two upgrade I was trying to do. I would have had them do it possibly not getting the true performance out of the bike I had hoped for. I can't really say anything about the quality of the work they do, ratings were pretty good. Absolutely unacceptable experience with Jayco and Rick's RV…read more I bought my Jayco camper brand new just a year ago, and it has now been sitting in Rick's RV's service department for over a month for warranty repairs I was told would take two weeks. During this entire time, I have received zero updates unless I call them myself. Meanwhile, I am still making payments on this camper and paying for storage I can't even use because my camper is stuck in their shop. This has completely ruined my family's summer camping plans, and it is beyond frustrating that a brand-new camper should need to be in service for over a month without clear updates. To make matters worse, Rick's RV told me I could come pick up the camper without a working stove (which is under warranty) so I could use it. How ridiculous is it to pay $27,000 for a camper only to be told I can take it without a fully functioning kitchen because Jayco and Rick's RV can't figure out whether to replace the stove? The lack of transparency, accountability, and customer service from both Jayco and Rick's RV is outrageous and should be a serious warning to anyone thinking about buying from either company. They have my money, but I don't have the working camper I paid for, and they don't seem to care how this impacts their customers. If you are considering purchasing a Jayco or working with Rick's RV, think twice. Their customer service ends the moment they get your money, and you will be stuck chasing them for updates while your plans and wallet suffer. I am posting this publicly because I want others to know exactly what kind of service they can expect.
