I took my Stratos there for carb rebuild, work on shift linkage, and check the water pump. Kept for a couple weeks and finally called and said it was done. Cost: just under $1400.oo. Paid it and decided to take my kids and grandson out the next day. Filled the 37 gal fuel tank and launched the boat. Had a real difficult time starting it. It would start and run maybe 30 seconds. I used my trolling motor to get out past the wake zone. tried starting it again, same thing wouldn't stay running. ?At this point I noticed it was starting to get hot. I stop trying then and decided to put it back on the trailer. Well somewhere along the way I lost the plug and the boat was taking on water. Alot faster than my bilge pump could pump out. I had to flag down a boat and get towed back to the dock! Ruined a good day. Got it home and called G and G and brought it back to the the following day. They called the following day to pick up the boat. Upon arrival the lady told me that it got too hot and melted some wires. Said I sucked up something and it plugged the water pump. Said they wouldn't do anything else without charging me. Recommended that I buy a used motor and replace it. I brought it home again and decided to check it out. That is when I found the broken Stern light in the battery compartment. They replaced it with a cheap light with a plastic base instead of a LED light like I had. The impact point on my gas tank is about 12 in. from my stern light. The gas tank had several cracks in it which allowed water to mix with the gas. By the time we got back to the dock that was all you could smell (Gas). The deputy sheriff came over and just said be careful and no smoking as it was draining. I pulled the tank out to check to see if it could be fixed. A lot of the wires were melted. I started to pull the spark plugs to check if fouled out and didn't need a socket, they were removed by hand! I would never take my boat back there nor would I recommend them to anybody. read more

It's rare I give 5 stars but this team deserves it! We have been using them for about a year since becoming boat owners. They are amazing! They are so popular and well respected that they sometimes can have a waiting list of 3 months. However the 3 times we have used them they allowed us to bring the boat and it was half the time frame they gave or less. They also do the extra mile without being asked or even expecting it if them. We had a Bimini top that the side piece broke. We were just going to replace it and when we picked our boat up from being worked on the piece was fixed. We didn't ask them to do that and it was such a great surprise. Thank you for still providing such great service in a time where it really is hard to find! I recently purchased a boat and decided to take it to G & G MARINE because they had 5 stars on google. We were quoted a price over the phone for a basic service done to the boat for 800 but when my husband went to pick up the boat we we're told it would be 1700. They did more work on the boat then what my husband had approved for. Needless to say after compromising the total down to 1400 we took the boat somewhere else to confirm if the work was really done on our boat and found out they lied. When we returned to inform G&G MARINE they refused due to new ownership. Worst company Ive ever dealt with. Anyone have similar experience I'm ready to go to small claims court! 1995 Cris Craft, V-8 Volvo Penta. This thing hasn't run right for 5 years. My former marine repair shop wouldn't touch it because of the age. A smaller shop tried 3 years ago but still had problems. Took it to G&G and they had it diagnosed in 24 hr and had the boat back in three days. Took it to lake yesterday and it runs like new! Prices are reasonable too. read more

Then as we went to pull out of the parking lot, we realized our radiator on our truck had blown.
