Back in Oct, William was abled to hand-pull all the weeds in my backyard and mow my lawn in preparation for the winter. He had made sure there's no grass clippings leftover as I was allergic to Bermuda grass so his service was helpful for my health. Initially, did an amazing job and was going to be my go-to lawn guy once the grass is growing again the Spring. Recently for the Spring, I asked him for the same service, weed removal (expecting hand-pulled like last time), lawn mowing, and pre-emergent weed treatments. Total cost was $170 but I gave him $200 especially for gas prices and he had to go pick up supplies. Well, he weed whacked everything instead and it splatter all over the white painted sidings of the new house. He offered to pressure wash and clean the sidings from the mess he created. He also offered to put down additional weed treatment to help control the weeds. He was late for the original Spring service (after I asked him to push the service an hour later). He was a no-show on Saturday to cleaning up weed clippings splattered over the sidings. I had to call him multiple times and he said his customer unexpectedly requested mulch installation and said he can come by at 8am on Sunday. Today, He was a no-show today. I had to call him and he woke up at 10am. He was still a no show after multiple calls. Very disappointed. I wasted almost half my day waiting. Lots of excuses. I understand life happens but lack of communication and method of weed removal was the final straw. Off to continue to find my go-to lawn service person. Initial service in Oct 2025 was 5/5. Follow-up Mar 2026 service 2/5. Do not recommend.

He first installed our 16x16 foot cedar plank pressure treated deck, paying close attention to how this deck would be part of a larger project. He made recommendations such as installing shorter steps on one side to make a natural walkway from opposite sides, to designing the stairs that lead to our firepit area in such a way that it's GORGEOUS. He heard my dream of having a sunket firepit and brought it to life! He made recommendations on size according to budget and even hunted down the exact type and color gravel we envisioned. He was always courteous and patient with response times and I knew every step of the way we were in great hands. Y'all...a sunken firepit is the ultimate Pinterest dream come to life. The first few days of work went well, but after that scheduling and communication became spotty from them, they had to redo some parts that were not well planned out, and ultimately parts of the work never got completed before they moved on to bigger jobs (but they had been paid).

They told us they'd be there on Tuesdays. They were there whichever day worked for them. They charged per bag for bagging leaves which we didn't even want them to do (we actually like fireflies). Our lawn would get really long with no sign of them sometimes. Other times, we'd wonder what they were even mowing. Right now, I'm trying to enjoy my backyard on Memorial Day but I can't through the noise while they're at my neighbor's house ON A HOLIDAY! I hate this company.

But I'm updating my review based on an extraordinarily positive interaction and outcome. A couple of weeks ago Andy contacted me. Again it has been several years since we did business together. He let me know that in an accounting review he discovered that I had a pile of extra money sitting with him- probably from some bill pay overages that I had set up through my bank. It looks like an error we both missed in some long forgotten year, and I probably would have never known, but Andy did the right thing, contacted me , and mailed a check. Of course this came at a time when it was needed- I mean, have you seen the price of eggs? That's the kind of business you want to deal with, and you hope that more often than not it is.
