We had to have out Kitchen Island rebuilt after a leak resulting in mold. Our contractor laid the countertop down and it came apart at the seam. He glued it back with wrong glue and left an unsightly seam. We called at least 6 countertop guys to repair it. No one wanted to try and some suggested we may have to buy new counter and may not find a match. I called G & R and they came out that day and we hired him on the spot. The next day Eric and his crew were able to remove my badly glued large kitchen island without breaking it, remove the incorrect glue that my contractor used. The builder William Ryan had placed pieces of underlayment instead of single pieces and it was not level either. Eric took the time to clean the edges, score the edges so glue holds onto (builder also did not do). Eric shimmed the countertop to make it level and use hydraulics to make seam tight and smooth. I couldn't have been happier. These guys are awesome and we highly recommend them. N Johnson

Absolutely awesome company who did A++ quality work. Salvador and his team came to our house and…read moreremoved many kitchen countertops so we could install new cabinets but still keep our countertops. They came back shortly after the new cabinets were in and successfully reinstalled our countertops. We heard from MANY people that, "It's very likely the quartz countertops will break when you try to remove them" but Salvador's team was very careful and didn't break ANY of the pieces at all. We were so relieved! Gonzalez Custom Remodeling was on time every time, responsive, friendly, and just awesome all around. Cannot recommend these guys enough for any countertop project -- kitchen, bathrooms, landings, etc. Thank you Salvador!

I wish that I could say that I had a positive experience "from start-to-finish", like many others…read moreseem to have experienced with Gonzales Custom Remodeling. But, unfortunately, if your looking for professional, precise, custom quartz countertops... I cannot (in good conscience) recommend. Since I was the homeowner/project-manager, communication was key & unfortunately it was a fail 85% of the time. On a positive note, when Gonzales mis-measured/installed the area by my stove, at least they agreed to come back & fix it. But the veins on my quartz are horizontal on that piece. And, on the other side the veins are vertical. Ugh, wish they matched. In one area where the end of the quartz should line up with my existing tile, it extends about a half inch or more. Also , 4 weeks after my $45k remodel was complete, I noticed a large chunk of quartz missing , which was not disclosed. They just decided to grout over it in hopes I didn't notice. I gave 2 stars because of the bathroom vanity top. I currently don't see any issues with it... but maybe wishful thinking.
