I went to his store and he showed me what he thought I would want, again based on just our phone call and he was on point. He then came to schedule a home visit to measure it and then it was installed. The installers were professional, on time and did a fantastic job. The best part is that it was completely affordable. I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. The office clerks were caught in the middle. After reaching my limit of frustration the owner acting as if I was wrong for complaining about the terrible customer service. When it the carpet finally came and we opened the roll, it was the wrong color. Again, I called them back and they tried to make me believe that I chose a color that doesn't match with anything i we already have. Again, the customer was wrong and they were right. Only Because our reopening is in 3 days I had no choice but to go ahead and install it. I have $2500 worth of carpet that I didn't want or order. I will NEVER use this company and strongly advise anyone that is connected to me not to use them either. The pricing was ok, but everything else was horrible. I would have done better going to HomeDepot or Loews.
