Vick B's emailed me back and wrote - "I can give you an estimate if you send me some pictures of the room!!" Meh- really? So I now have to go take pics of the room, hoping that I capture what it is you feel you need to see to give an accurate quote? AND what if when you arrive to do the job (assuming you got it), you decide that it might cost more to finish because after all you only looked at pictures?? Didn't get a good feeling from this. Totally felt blown off. Am looking elsewhere.

They offered low rates, but I didn't feel confident that they knew what they were doing. I got a recommendation to use Pristine Garage and I called them when I got home from work. Sam answered the phone and offered to come out for the estimate the next morning. Sam was direct and to the point about what I needed and why. He told me he could fix it this weekend, which was super fast. Way faster than I expected. He came out the next day with his associate. They installed the door and a motor with all the parts in the same weekend. Everything runs smoothly and now I can use the garage again! They did an excellent job! And to top it off, by mistake, I wrote more on the check then the amount that I was supposed to pay because I forgot about the deposit. Sam let me know about it. That was really honest! I was a little hesitant to use them because there weren't too many reviews online. But since I was recommended to them, I took the chance and I'm glad I did!

After negatively criticizing my garage door they repaired it satisfactorily. Then without asking the technician adjusted the down force on the motor. That caused the resistance safety feature to fail and when my door came down on the tire of my motorcycle the force of the motor bent my door and the brace they installed. Sam came out and told me it was my fault and that I should not have had my motorcycle in the way. Accidents happen and that is why the motor has a built in feature to stop and reverse if it feels any resistance while in the downward motion! Of course if the force is adjusted too much it will not stop and reverse. They were there to repair my door not to adjust the motor. Sam is rude and ignorant and so is the owner. They will smile in your face, and promise to repair anything that goes wrong after their install. But that turned out to be a lie! Therefore they are being sued. They do good work maybe but they will not honor any warranty and they do not give you anything in writing. Also be sure you can read what is on the invoice because these guys barely speak english and absolutely cannot write legibly. Save yourself a headache and hire American workers! These guys suck!

Starting on day 1, a subcontracted demo crew arrived along with Marcus from your team. They accidentally nicked a knob and tube wire along with 2 pipes. We did not know at the time, and noone from your team told us even though I have video proof they knew earlier that morning. We later found out when OUR plumber came to check on the pipes and noticed the mistakes and pointed it out to all workers present at that time. Knowing these pipes were nicked, they closed the floor anyway with the active leak inside. Following installation of the toilet and shower head, when I went to use the toilet, water came spewing through my ceiling downstairs- The team refused to acknowledge responsibility, initially stating it was the radiator regardless of my insisting. Upon locating the leak was actually in a drain pipe, they then said it was the subcontractors fault for nicking the pipe, completely ignoring the fact that if it wasn't enclosed under flooring, this would not have been an issue. Along with this issue, I had multiple concerns with professionalism and communication throughout. I was never told who would be coming on what day, and I encountered about 6 different workers in the time Mendr worked on my house. I was told Marcus would be my project lead, and he was only present the first 2 days. When we would relay a message to one worker, they would not relay it to the others, which lead to huge gaps in communication. We would ask for things to be done a certain way, and the team would ignore and do it the way "they always do it", even when resulting in poor installation of the sister beams, flooring, and cutting into my stack pipe for the exhaust fan. Your team did not put any tarps down unless we asked them to and even then, did not fix them when they would rip. There were multiple discussions regarding safety issues I caught on camera as well that your team still tries to pawn onto the subcontractors I didn't even know were coming. The absolute worst part about this team regardless of all the issues I encountered in my home is that your team still refuses to be held accountable, and does not seem sympathetic in the least for any of the damage caused in my home. I have photo and video proof as well as multiple other professionals who stated the work your team provided may as well be illegal with the lack of safety concern and poorly following ANY coding guidelines. Even with all of this, Kyle, you still try to deny claims and report the subcontractors did it- completely ignoring ANY of your teams responsibility in this matter. Do better, Do not rip people off if you can not handle the project. We deserve our down payment back, none of the work you performed was actually usable! You are only as professional as ALL of your employees and it has been made clear you do not send the same employees for all of your jobs.

Dan impressed me from the beginning by actually answering my initial phone call, and was responsive to calls and texts through the entire process. Dan helped me with bathroom design and with choosing tile, tub, and shower doors. He was able to begin work a short time after I contacted him. His crew consisted of Vasili and Rene. Both were there like clockwork every day. Their work is superb. Dan was on the job several times throughout to check on things and to answer my questions in person. All the 5 star reviews on Google are truly deserved. I don't think you can find a better, more honest and reliable company for your home project.

"wrong #/ i owe you nothing.../ contract was w/ dcm, llc-- not dan/ stop harassing me." incomplete work: closet is a shell- no shelving/ hang bar; no molding around closet/floor @ ceiling; drywall edges exposed in closet; door hung upside down. time consuming fixes needed in powder rm. paint; caulk; grout... tile installed behind faucet only. should be tiled 1/2 wall.(faucet rubs tile). no warranty! window doesn't lock. toilet needed parts replaced. civil claim filed against dan/dcm remodeling. went to court 2x. i was awarded judgement 2x. dan appealed, got lawyer. dan ignored judgements - he refuses to pay! 11/25/23--- i am still going through the legal system! the next step is filing with sheriff's office, to levy @ garnish. fee: $650-. dan is rude, unorganized @ accepts no accountability! excuses for increasing costs @ put blame on others. hiring dan was a bad decision. i don't need to be a contractor, to know if a job is finished! never pay balance, under any circumstances. -until- contract is fulfilled and you are satisfied w/ job! Communicating about the estimate, scheduling, and answering questions was handled promptly and professionally. Importantly, the entirety of the work needed to be done in our neighbor's front yard, and the crew was very respectful of their property, carefully cleaning up any mess and debris. A+ would recommend.
