The owner was one of the first companies to respond and provide me with a quote. The quote was fair. It was not my least expensive quote, but it was not my most expensive quote either. What impressed me was his follow-up and ease to work with. He was flexible while a arranged the appointment with the repair shop and once that was done Mater's came and picked up the truck and got it to the repair facility. I think what I was most impressed about was that they showed up when the said they would. He gave me a 1 hour window of when the driver would arrive and they were there at the beginning of the one hour window. I explained that only a few minutes had passed since placing the order and that no actual service had been performed. Despite this, they still processed the charge. Charging customers a substantial cancellation fee within minutes of booking, especially when no tow truck was dispatched, and no services were rendered, feels extremely unfair and misleading.
