With any project there are always things that pop up that was not thought of earlier and they were quite helpful. It's been 2 years and everything is working and looks great. We're happy that we chose Bozem Electric. I'd like to point out they were one of three companies that called us back after inquiring about costs and questions. Some of the other companies did not bother calling us back for quotes when we asked about pricing. We will continue to call them for any future needs.

The lighting system was declared complete despite a core feature--the color-temperature control--not functioning. I raised the issue immediately. Bozem requested final payment while assuring me they would work to resolve the problem, so I paid in good faith. Over the next several months, progress was slow, communication was often delayed for weeks at a time, and the issue remained unresolved. Eventually I was told the project required specialized Casambi expertise that Bozem did not possess, despite the earlier assurances that the work was well within their capabilities. To their credit, they were willing to coordinate with Casambi support for a time, but they canceled the troubleshooting appointment we arranged with Casambi and ultimately stopped responding to me altogether. After six months without resolution, I hired another licensed electrician. On his first visit, he identified damaged and sharply folded LED strips, poor solder connections, and inappropriate wire selection. Within 90 minutes of physical troubleshooting, he restored the color-temperature control without requiring Casambi support. Unfortunately, the system began malfunctioning again within hours. Given the extent of the damaged strips and unreliable connections, I have now been advised that the lighting installed by Bozem will need to be replaced. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company for projects requiring quality workmanship, accurate assessment of their own capabilities, reliable project management, or follow-through when problems arise.

He never tells you how much it will cost until he is done. He has has his unlicensed son do all the work. He always says, "I saved you a lot of money because I found an easy fix to the problem". "It could have been a big job". Then he charges you for the big job when he just did an easy fix like tying a clamp over a leak instead of changing the piping.

Summary: If your job is TOO Small, Sun Bright will not take the job and just Ghost you. I've tried multiple times to reach out (via text msg and mobile call), and have ZERO response. It has been 3+ weeks and since then I have gotten another electrician to do the job, realizing it only costed $360 from another professional. Be warned, Sun Bright is a legit and qualified company (based on their on site knowledge), but unless you're providing them with LARGE & Costly projects, you'll just end up getting Ghosted. Recommendation: Look elsewhere or go local, at least you'll know the job will get done by someone that'll respond.

He left, promising an estimate within three days. Frankly, at that point, the business was his to lose - Dave is everything you've read here: knowlegeable, courteous, professional - overall extremely impressive. We had three different companies visit us that day, and my wife and I agreed that we'd go with Kester even given a reasonable cost premium - that was how comfortable we felt with him at that point. Three days came and went. We had the estimates from the other two companies promptly. But absolutely nothing from Kester. My wife called to make sure he had the correct email address (and received no response to her voicemail). I called - twice over a period of several weeks - and again our messages failed to prompt a return call. Not even the courtesy of letting us know - for whatever reason - that he wouldn't or couldn't take on the project. So, our project has been stalled for almost a month as we waited for what was our preferred vendor to deliver the promised estimate - and we still have absolutely no idea why we didn't receive it. That said, it's only fair to acknowledge that this post-visit behavior was completely inconsistent with the Kester we met in person, but - given the lack of follow-up and communication - we have no option but to rate our overall experience as frustrating and disappointing.

Flash forward 4 years and I sadly, have to amend my review; everything this electrician did on the…read moreoutside of our house has failed. Of particular note is that he installed 2 EV charging outlets in our garage that over heat. It turns out he used the wrong gauge wire for the outlets. He also used the wrong brand of breakers in our electrical panel to hook up the chargers and they were not even new; according to all 3 electricians I called for estimates, the breakers were wrong and used! Illescas also installed an outside outlet for Christmas lights running over 50 ft of conduit when he could have used a power source that is feet away... of course charging me for those feet of material and the hours of time it took to run it 1/2 way around the perimeter of my house. He ran the conduit along the ground so it's now rusting and the outlets don't even work! The 2 outdoor decorative garage lights he installed no longer work either. This guy either doesn't know what he's doing or he's intentionally cutting corners by using potentially dangerous shortcuts-the wrong gauge wire in my EV charger could have easily caused a fire. He also installed ceiling fans and replaced LED pot lights inside and those are all still fine but a competent handyman can do those tasks.
