The work involved moving electrical from my main house to adu in the back and energizing both units and changing the electrical drop from the pole and getting a ground through an underground conduit. It was not light work, and they did it quickly with minimal service outage. Also super nice and courteous which was very much appreciated. Louis came out for the original estimate and he was awesome as well and super professional and on top of all the work that was going on. He requested the part that came in on a Friday directly before an ice storm. He came at an early stage Saturday morning before the storm and fixed the generator just for 1/4 of the expense. So I had given a thought and decided to replace it. I called them on Friday afternoon to make an appointment to install a new HVAC. They came the next day, Saturday, and finished all in one day! It's some kind of next level service that we don't usually expect in the States. My only complaint is that they installed a new system so that I cannot run the AC unit while my louvered door is closed -- I will need to somehow change the door later after my guests leave. It comes as no surprise to me that virtually all of Rafi's reviews are five stars. He has the two…read morequalities which are most important in connection with a service provider. For me the most important quality is the fact that he is honest. He doesn't perform work that does not need to be done. I get the sense more and more these days that services are being performed by mechanics and sadly even my doctors that really are not required. I never have this fear with Rafi. The second quality which is important but for me not nearly as important as the first is the fact that Rafi's prices are reasonable. Most recently, our garage refrigerator died when we were out of town and we returned to a disaster. We wanted to get a new refrigerator as soon as possible but it was clear that the way the refrigerator plug was jerry-rigged that it really needed professional attention. My wife called Rafi, explained the situation, and he came out that afternoon to install a new socket box. We had two other issues for him to address at a later date with respect to two of our ceiling fans. With respect to one of the ceiling fans which is making lots of noise Rafi simply showed us how it could be adjusted so that the fan would not make noise. With respect to the second fan which was wobbling he explained that to repair it would not be cost-effective but he could do a minor fix which he did so that at a lower speed the fan would not wobble that much. If we could live with that we would be fine. I think there are some electricians who would've replaced both fans. Not Rafi. I cannot say enough good things about him and the services he has provided for us over the years. I know this sounds like a paid commercial announcement but Rafi does not even know I am doing this review. And after all the years I have been on yelp I have only done two previous reviews. One for an upholsterer and one for a shredder, both of whom did excellent work. So, my praise is not easy to come by.
