Great European Lounge in Hallandale! I called the same day…read moreand couldn't get a table, so I'd definitely recommend booking a few days ahead if you want a spot on Friday or Saturday night. At first, I wasn't too happy -- there were no outdoor seats available and the music at the bar was super loud. We ended up sitting all the way in the back next to a wall by the bathrooms, and the vibe there was just okay. Later, we moved closer to the outside and it completely changed the experience -- I enjoyed it so much more! The drinks are a little pricey but absolutely worth it -- we had the Tikki Kill and it was delicious. The music was amazing and kept the energy up all night. The couches are super comfy, the hookah service is great (they change the charcoal without you even asking), and free parking is a huge plus. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the night even better. The only downsides are that you really need to make a reservation ahead of time for weekends, otherwise you might end up stuck at the bar or in a less atmospheric spot. Also, there are only two gender-neutral restrooms, so there can be a bit of a wait.

We got the hukkah service and it was often monitored for the coals. They recommended "berries and watermelon" and it was smooth. Our server came just often enough to make sure we had what we needed. Great music played throughout. While we were there it was club music. Just loud enough to enjoy but still able to talk. We ordered a fruit platter and it was large and all of the fruit was deliciously fresh. The only tricky part was the parking. An attendant on the street is shuffling people on the street and at least three different lots. The entrance is around back opposite of Dixie Hwy so save yourself a walk. Not sure what can be done about the restroom situation, but there are very few for the number of people that can be inside. All in all, I would definitely come back for another night of enjoyment.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

Elvis may have left the building but we were certainly welcomed in by the pretty atmosphere and the smells of delicious Italian food. We pulled into an almost empty parking lot at 6:30 midweek and walked in with a reservation for a party of 4. We sat inside because it was a warm evening but the covered outside seating looked so pretty and casual. Once seated, we ordered bar drinks and the Meatball, and Eggplant Roll up appetizers. They were very good in flavor and portion size. Our entrées were the grilled Branzino which is great for a person on a low carb diet at an Italian restaurant. It was served with wilted fresh spinach and some other grilled veggies lightly place on top with a light sauce underneath it all. Simply delicious! My husband ordered the Lasagna which was huge and full of meat and cheeses with just enough extra sauce to dip the complimentary fresh bread into it. My friend's husband had asked if it was possible to do the Chicken Parm NOT breaded and although the chef didn't recommend it, my friend loved it, and it too was a large portion. Our very lovely young lady server also informed us that our entrées came with a complimentary glass of red wine, which we assumed was a weekday special. It was a nice gesture but the wine was not anything special. (Woodbridge) We had our leftovers boxed up and skipped the desserts but I know we will be back because of how much we enjoyed our dining experience. Don't let this neighborhood deter your visit to this outstanding restaurant!

They have a full-service bar with a great cocktail menu, and the patio on the water makes for a perfect spot on a sunny evening. We met the chef/owner during our visit -- he is clearly passionate about his food and committed to the pleasure of his customers, which shows in every detail. We had the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and spinach. The chops were perfectly seared with a savory crust that gave way to tender, juicy meat; the potatoes were silky and comforting, and the spinach added a fresh, garlicky lift. My other half had the Bronzino -- flaky and delicate, with a crisp, lemon-kissed skin and subtle briny notes that paired beautifully with a light, herbed sauce. Both dishes were thoughtfully seasoned and full of layered flavors. The staff were phenomenal from start to finish. Our waitress, Kim, was especially attentive and informative -- knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer suggestions. We always ask ourselves, "Would we be back?" The answer is yes -- highly recommended for excellent food, attentive service, and a wonderful waterfront setting. OOHHH my sweet goodness, I forgot to mention the dessert ... A waffle with ice cream, absolutely amazing. A must try!

So we started with some Espresso Martinis and they were perfectly made and balanced, well done Limarys! We also enjoyed some complimentary Chicharones. Classy. See pics. We rocked out to the musician who was playing and really, really enjoyed the overall aesthetic of the place. They spared no expense in décor and design and acoustics. The bartop is amazing, all new glassware, they have their own chef and kitchen separate of the casino. It is really a high class spot and I should probably gatekeep it, but I'll see you there.
