I work with a non profit dog rescue out of San Francisco. We were in need of another reliable, skilled, and experienced trainer who we can send some of our behavior cases to for board and trains when needed. We knew we struck gold when we met Gabby! She is knowledgeable, knows her breeds, is a VERY fair trainer to the dogs (which is also incredibly important to us) and she is very invested in the dogs she works with and their ongoing success. From her prompt responses, to communication when transferring over the training and giving excellent homework as the dogs adjust back into fosters, we couldn't recommend her enough. While she works with all breeds, we love love her true speciality with the bully breeds. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great dog trainer who will really invest into you and your dog!

Since training with Gabby, my dog Zeus has progressed so much in his dog reactivity, engagement, basic commands, and learned the art of "doing nothing" in busy environments. Although Zeus is pretty good in his at home training myself, I want him to be phenomenal. My goal is to have him in our upcoming wedding! We learned through correction, positive reinforcement and building trust and a strong bond to help elevate your training. Gabby is transparent, honest, and knowledgeable. If you're on the fence on getting a professional trainer, just go for it! You won't regret it.

We started training our two dogs with Gabby almost a year ago through private sessions, and we couldn't be more grateful for her guidance. One of our dogs, a Rottweiler/Doberman mix, has a bite history, and Gabby has helped us tremendously in understanding and managing his behavior. She identified that he is fear-reactive and taught us how giving him a task to focus on helps ease his anxiety. What I love about Gabby's private training sessions is how easy she makes the process for both dogs and owners. She never makes you feel silly for asking questions and is incredibly patient in explaining things. Life gets busy, and sometimes a dog doesn't master a skill in just one week--having the flexibility to book sessions as needed made all the difference for us. To further our dog's progress, we did a board-and-train program specifically for him, and the difference was incredible--he came back so much calmer and less anxious. Both of our dogs are now e-collar trained, and thanks to Gabby's approach, training feels fun for them and easy for us to follow. You can truly see how much Gabby loves dogs and that this is her passion--it's so evident in the results. The transformation we've seen in our dogs is proof of her dedication and expertise. Now, we can confidently take our dogs into public places, and they remain calm and well-behaved. We constantly receive compliments on how well-trained they are, and we owe it all to Gabby. We've since joined her group classes, which continue to challenge our dogs and keep us on track. I will always recommend Gabby to any dog owner--she has truly changed our lives for the better!

If you are looking for a thoughtful, experienced, and knowledgeable trainer for your dog (and yourselves) look no further than Gabby's Good Dogs! We found Gabby after our dog's original trainer had moved down to Southern California. My husband and I were also preparing for the arrival of our first child and started looking for someone to help reinforce good training habits for our dog, Mack to prepare him for the transition of having a newborn in the house. From the start, she took the base of our dog's puppy training and really brought him to the next level! Gabby trains all breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs with ease. She offers a variety of training services and opportunities for you and your dog to practice skills that can utilized in all types of different situations! One thing that really stood out to us about Gabby, was that she really has a knack for finding what a specific dog needs and responds to the most in order to be receptive to obedience training. Sometimes trainers can have a "one-size fits all" approach and Gabby gets to know the individual dog and owners she's working with to provide them with all of the tools they need for success. We have a rottweiler and were immediately impressed with Gabby's knowledge of working with the breed and knowledge of what our dog would need in order to thrive. We now travel everywhere with Mack and our newborn together and constantly receive compliments on how well behaved and responsive Mack is in both public and private settings- especially around children and other dogs! We look forward to each training session and our dog is truly a happier and healthier dog because of Gabby. Not only this, but we've become better dog owners for our big guy because of Gabby! We are so grateful we found Gabby and such an amazing community in Gabby's Good Dogs!

Mazie is now 5 months old and we began training and boarding with Gabby when she was about 3 months old. My husband had wanted his Rottweiler for at least a decade but neither of us had owned a puppy in at least that long. We were feeling, quite honestly, sleep deprived and out of control with a new tiny thing in the house. Mazie is a very intelligent and stubborn puppy and was running circles around us and we wanted to establish a better foundation and strong bond with her. From our very first meeting with Gabby we began learning how to provide Mazie with the structure that helped her calm down and gave us back the needed peace in our home. We are an active family with 5 boys and needed Mazie to integrate into our life and activities pretty quickly. Gabby trains from a deep understanding and appreciation of regulating the nervous system through predictable and fair tasks and consequences which translates to a more regulated demeanor in our puppy. In real terms, it meant the anxious whining or barking at night was mitigated by giving her a schedule and communication system she could count on. In 2 short months, Mazie has learned "bed, down, spin, heel" and walks with us throughout town and in social situations seamlessly. The growth we've enjoyed with our dog is quite noticeable when we visit with friends puppies that struggle to walk on a leash and the house is still chaotic with their nervous and frantic energy. We are still working on my equally stubborn husband; he's proving to need a bit more correction and maybe a prong collar, but one thing at a time.
