I have learned skills that will help me with future fosters., I have learned its the human directing boundaries and behavior. Tyson will never be perfect, but with the right tools he is able to live a fun and enjoyable life (so am I). I cannot stress enough how important training is when owning a dog, even if that dog seems 'perfect' . We still need the knowledge when there are other not so behaved dogs that we are able to handle the situation. She doesn't charge extra for extra time needed (which our girl took the full 6 weeks) knowing exactly how much helped us budget and create a plan! Mazie is now 5 months old and we began training and boarding with Gabby when she was about 3 months old. My husband had wanted his Rottweiler for at least a decade but neither of us had owned a puppy in at least that long. We were feeling, quite honestly, sleep deprived and out of control with a new tiny thing in the house. Mazie is a very intelligent and stubborn puppy and was running circles around us and we wanted to establish a better foundation and strong bond with her. From our very first meeting with Gabby we began learning how to provide Mazie with the structure that helped her calm down and gave us back the needed peace in our home. We are an active family with 5 boys and needed Mazie to integrate into our life and activities pretty quickly.
