I explained my problem and he said they would take a look and what some potential outcomes would be. When I got there jose was working on another car. Mario helped with the communication since jose didn't speak English much and I don't speak Spanish well at all. They had a few chairs for me to sit and wait while the pouring rain slowed down. Once it did. Jose got the car on the lift and assessed the issue. He helped get some clips back in place and zip tied for extra security. Mind you at one point we were both in the pouring rain and yet jose was not in any rush and was making sure the bumper liner was good. Made the car a lot more comfortable for me to drive until I get it checked out by a body shop. They were very very generous with pricing and I was happy to tip jose a couple bucks. Later in the day, I received a price quote that was very high for a standard inspection and oil change - 3 times what the dealer wanted to charge me. I messaged them back and told them that I would collect the car as the price was too high and they re-quoted it to just include a standard oil change/fluid top-up, no other diagnostics or inspections. That was more reasonable, but still slightly higher than the dealer. Despite the pricing, service and professionalism was excellent. The job was done very quickly and my car was washed and shining clean when I picked it up. Their advisors were extremely friendly and I received a nice hand-written note afterward. The facility seems clean enough to eat off the floor. I'll keep them at 5 stars despite the pricing because I know that they don't really specialize in basic oil changes. They're not trying to compete with the dealers or gas station down the street. Asking for an oil change here is like asking a heart surgeon to put a band-aid on your cut. You can see by the cars that they service and their reputation that they know what they are doing. I will most certainly consider them for more advanced work in the future.
