5 months my transmission failed I called Ray the Manager and he said the don't offer warranty service out of State, I had the transmission taken out and brought to the shop in Miami it took them a week to fix and I had to pay over a thousand dollars to bring the transmission to Miami and pay a local mechanic to put it back for and was charged 1000.00 and he offered to pay 400.00 over a month ago the check is on the mail but it never In South Carolina, do not trust these guys!!! read more

I was convinced my transmission was slipping. This had beeb going on for sometime. I dropped my car off with Danny. Within 15 minutes he called saying that the engine was misfiring. He drove over to my apartment and took me for a ride and explained to me that what I thought was slipping was actually engine misfiring. I want to share my experience with Transmission Express. I live in Homestead and took my vehicle up to Transmission Express in December of 2022 (friend recommendation). I had a great experience, no problems. Fast forward to last week Friday, March 1st 2024 I had to take my son's truck because it turns out he has a bit of a heavy foot. I did call a company here in Homestead who without seeing the truck was quoting me a minimum of $2,000. Since we had a great experience with Transmission Express the last time, I decided to take his truck to the North end of the county. This time the truck left me stranded on 826, what an experience. Can I just say that Miami drivers can be a$*%! Anyhow, I called Ray, and he recommended a local tow company, and I got picked up within 35 minutes. The tow company dropped off the vehicle and I got a call from Ray within a couple of days. He provided information regarding the damages, cost, and repair timeframe. Honestly, I can tell you that Ray and Hector are honest, reliable, and professional. As a Miami-Dade County native that says a lot! They were clear about the work, price, and warranty, no surprises! Hopefully, I don't have to visit them again soon but if I had to take any vehicle for a transmission repair it would be to Transmission Express, NO DOUBT! read more

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Do not use this company unless you want to get scammed!!! The guy will tell you initially there is no cost to check if there are transmission issues and then when you bring the car in, he will tell you "Oh I have to take the engine out and take the car apart to check it and it's gonna be $495 for me to do that and then I'll just add that to the cost of the services." Then after a week of waiting for your car, he will say "Oh yeah it's the transmission and it's gonna cost you $2800" Then when you say "Oh I can't afford that" hes going to say "Well how much can you afford?" What??? Don't walk.... please RUN away from this scamming place!! I went to another top transmission repair shop and the guy says nobody has to take your engine out and take your car apart to check for transmission problems. The guy said we just put a machine on there and we check. The guy checked my car with his machine and it's only going to cost $1500 to fix the transmission. If I could give this place a 0 star I would, brought my truck in with a messed up transmission and I knew that. It's been issues after issues with this place. At first it went well but it got worse from there My truck was supposed to be there a week it ended up being there 2.5 months and it came out worse then it went in. Loose bolts under the frame, door handle was missing, truck was dirty as hell covered in oil and grease, and the best part now my engine doesn't even run correctly and now it doesn't want to start. Now I have to take it to another shop and come out of pocket for stuff I didn't touch. Truck ran beautiful before it went in now the engine vibrates violently. If I could post a video I would this is poor workmanship take more pride in your work, then the mechanic tries to tell me that I'm having such and such problems like if I don't know anything about vehicles. I took it there because I'm not a transmission expert if not I would have did it my self very disappointed in the job that i received. Even the obdll port was out of place how can you even mess up that bad that the port comes out ‍they can tell me what they want I know how I brought that truck in and it wasn't the way I received it, I absolutely would never recommend anyone to that shop. The place is a rip off. Transmission Express Center , 145 NE 183 St in Miami, Fl overcharged me to rebuild my transmission in a chevy. I leave the place drive and the problem is still occurring. Then I took it to the Chevrolet dealership and they said it is a simple wire that connects to the transmission. So I was rip off for $3000 and the problem is not fixed. Scam alert! I went to this place to have work done on my automatic transmission and they left the car in a complete mess. This place has gone through multiple managers. "Hamilton" isn't even the one there now but someone named Ray. He will first start off by pretending he is so concerned with helping you and say the phrase "we treat you like family". Well I hate to see how you would treat an enemy. First off, they will claim that they will get you your car back in a short period of time, that was the first time. Had my car longer than the agreed time. They damage body parts when lifting the car, leave you with a leaking transmission drain plug, crooked steering wheel, and a bolt missing from where the transmission bell housing bolts to the engine. I guess they thought I wouldn't check their work. This is a scam because these are fake positive reviews on all review plate forms and sites they use. How can a transmission shop that does such lousy work have perfect to near perfect reviews on every site? Stay away from this place! read more
