This review is long overdue - our family has gone to Dr Feder for all dental extractions. I have had 2 impacted wisdom teeth removed by a general dentist and it was a traumatic experience. When I need another extraction, my dentist referred me to Dr Feder and it literally took him 5 minutes to get the tooth out and the gums stitched. World of difference. Flash forward to when my daughter needed 4 teeth removed for braces - we went to Dr Feder who was kind and compassionate with my daughter who was pretty fearful. My other daughter just had her 4 wisdom teeth removed - Dr Feder saw her for a consult , scheduled the extraction a couple weeks later and within less than an hour she was done (including being put to sleep). Best oral surgeon! I had such a good experience getting all 4 wisdom teeth out. I didn't experience much pain, swelling, or much discomfort. Amazing experience!!! I had an appointment for wisdom teeth removal and the whole experience was great! Dr Feder helped me feel comfortable during the operation and made sure I was okay. I went under and I didn't even notice it hit me, then when I woke up the operation was over. I barely had any pain, just some slight pain which can be helped by taking pain killers and keeping gauze in your mouth so the cold air doesn't sting the dry sockets in your mouth. 10/10 would recommend and may go back later in the future for my other 2 wisdom teeth. read more

This is the second young adult of mine in which Dr. Feder took out their wisdom teeth. Needeless to say the emotional reaction from may daughter this week was much different and more intense then my son. We quickly called Dr. Feder a few hours after the surgery to see what we should do to calm her down. He reminded me that children look to their parents for reassurance and that everything was normal. We did just that, and ofcoarse it worked. Dr. Feder then called aeveral times the next day until he got a hold of me (I had just had surgery too) to see how she was. I was at Dr. Feder's office today. He is the nicest, most professional Dentist I have ever been to!!! Today he had to take my implant out. He kept checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable. I've had many bad dental experiences in the past with other providers, and I cannot sing the praises of Dr. Feder enough. After diligently caring for my teeth for most of my adult life, I learned from my dentist that one of my molars was cracked and likely needed to be extracted. I was referred to Dr. Feder, and I was very grateful to have met him. His office practices COVID-19 protocols to keep patients and staff safe. He was so reassuring about the actual extraction surgery, and I elected to complete it at that time, using Novocain and nitrous oxide. I was a bit apprehensive as I had had my wisdom teeth extracted over thirty years ago with general anesthesia, but Dr. Feder's professionalism and understanding put me at ease. I was done in roughly 45 minutes, and it was fairly easy and pain free. Dr. Feder gave me care instructions, which I followed closely, and he even called to check up on me that night. Dr. Feder's office staff was friendly and professional, as was he. I was on time for my appointment and was not kept waiting. After being ushered into a treatment room, Dr. Feder came in (maybe) five minutes later. When we determined my tooth needed to be removed, I drove around (which I thought was a bit odd) to the back entrance where the surgery suites were. A local anesthetic later, my tooth was gone. I had my wisdom tooth extracted yesterday by Dr. Feder. The experience was extremely positive from start to finish. He has very kind and responsive front desk staff and dental assistants. I had my wisdom teeth pulled today. Dr. Feder thoroughly explained the procedure in my consultation beforehand, and did his best to assuage my nerves this morning before actually doing the surgery. I was nervous, this being my first surgery and first time with anesthesia but Dr. Feder and his nurses were very alert and calm and nice. The pain is not so bad, and he prescribed painkillers and antibiotics ahead of time so I could take them right when I got home. It's been a few hours and he just called to check up on me, giving my mom additional instructions on how to help me eat (seeing as though I haven't been able to keep anything down). I can tell Dr. Feder really cares about his patients. I personally had been referred to him by two different dentists before having this procedure done. I am surprised there haven't been any reviews written for his practice, but I hope anyone who sees this will give this caring man a shot. read more

Dr. Feder's office is not one I would even have noticed tucked away there in the shopping center near Pier One on Tampa... but it's a jewel and Dr. Feder is a prince. Last Friday, I went to his office for his help with a number 14 molar I thought was infected with diverging roots going into my sinuses and in need of extraction. He patiently explained all of my options and listened patently while I explained all my concerns, including several major medical conditions I also have. I did choose to have the extraction, but Dr. Feder took the extra time to get my doctor on the phone and do everything needed for my complete safety. He explained everything he was going to do in easy terms so me And my friend with me could understand. And after a fairly intense procedure skillfully handled (which only lasted 30 minutes to an hour), he actually called me at home to make sure I was OK! Don't know if he'd always do that, but it just shows he cares. The post-surgery instructions were easy to follow (which he had already reviewed with us). His staff was great, very sweet ladies! As anxious as I know I was going in... I never expected to be coming out in such a good mood, so comfortable during the procedure and feeling so much better only a day later. And now it's been four days, still doing really well. Very happy! read more
