Amazing fish tacos!! Spotted this hidden food truck on the corner of Camelot Dr and Oceanside Blvd. They accept credit cards and they have lots of seating including shaded spots. We tried several food items and I thought everything was solid but not spectacular. The al pastor and the carnitas tasted dry and underseasoned. Ate here for the first time last evening after driving past it many times up and down Oceanside Blvd. All I can say is "Incredible!!" We parked our car, walked into the grass carpeted area and felt like we were no longer on Oceanside Blvd. The area they have set up with tables, fame heaters and a large screen TV is great. It is immaculate, and actually cleaner than a lot of local restaurants I've been in. The young lady who helped us since it was our first time, was excellent. She was making sure the condiment area was supper clean, I could have eaten off of it, lol. She had a great smile and was very welcoming as she helped us with answering our questions about the menu. The food was excellent, and the portions were great. Pricing was excellent and we will definitely be back. Again, both the area and truck are immaculate and the cleanest I've ever seen. Always such a good spot, most places I have to order 4-6 tacos to be full. This spot is a 2 taco for lunch max and max 4 tacos for dinner type spot that also doesn't charge out the butt. For example senor grubbys which I love and will always still go too, charges $1 less for their shrimp taco, I have to eat at least 4-6 of those to feel full. Go from $30 for 5-6 to o $12 for two is unbeatable while feeling the same kinda fullness is hard to beat. read more

Came here because of Kareem on insta review and another friend . Tried the chicken and carne asada tacos. The chicken is not good. The carne asada are ok but would be better in quesadillas or burritos. Since Kareem and other friends tried the torta and said they love them we decided to try the torta to go. We went with the milanesa, although the young lady suggested the cubana we said we couldn't due to my husband's being allergic to PORK.... The milanesa has " NO PORK" on the description. Got home husband took a big bite and BACON!!! :( So my husband had to spit it out and he was not able to enjoy the torta and had to take his allergy medication so his throat does not close up, he was disappointed. The torta on my half was very good better then the tacos. To the staff: please add bacon to description or especially if we had just mentioned we couldn't have the cubana due to pork should have let us know about the bacon. We will try them one more time this time being more carful about the pork. I heard the shrimp stuff is good to so maybe will have my husband try those next time. read more

My new fave place. Had the pollo tacos two days in a row. One taco at $3.50 is really two tacos worth of filling ! Delish and great price. Great service. Next time I am going to try some of Gaby's breakfast offerings. The truck is in a parking lot but the picnic tables with cute umbrellas and the great ocean breeze make this a little oasis. read more

This is one of the best Mexican food trucks in San Diego. It is family owned. The servers are very friendly and helpful ( Jessica is my fav and there is Alex too). My husband adores the carnitas burrito that is well over one pound of delicious tender pork, rice, pico de Gallo- lots of meat. The Cubana torta is amazing- bacon ,ham , Milanese and seasonings on a delicious roll/torta. Everything is fresh and good. Open everyday but Sunday. They also have an adorable outside area to eat at. Wanted to try their fish taco after having one at a major chain restaurant a few days ago The taco with grilled Mahi Mahi was head and shoulders above the others taco. Also enjoyed the best chili relleno I've ever had. I have recommended this truck to my friends often and they have not been disappointed. I also love their Taco de Alambre and Taco Gobernador. If you are driving on Oceanside Blvd between El Camino Real and I-5 take a few minutes and stop for a bite to eat. You will not be disappointed. They also can cater an event as they did for my Rotary club celebration. Just a note, they are closed on Sundays. read more

The burritos and the nachos were good and large portions. However, the price was too much. The two burritos and the nachos came out to $50. I could go to a Mexican restaurant and order a combination of three items with rice and beans and plus my mom's dinner at Anita's and it would come out to $37 including tip. The service was good. If there was ever an Oasis with a taco truck, this place come close. The ambiance is cool and the service is great for being a taco truck. I've passed by the truck since it set up shop and finally decided to stop by. I ordered carne asada, pastor and adoba tacos. Not only was the meat nicely seasoned, the tortillas were also on point. Also ordered a carne asada burrito and carne asada torta. The star of of the show for me was the torta. This is the best torta I've had in Oceanside. The key is they Toast the bread! The torta had cheese which I really enjoyed. I know I ordered a ton of food but I shared it ;-) I'm glad I finally stopped by and will definitely return. read more
