A huge plus for their chili oil. The staff is so very friendly and helpful. Place is clean. Plenty of parking. Recommended!

We decided to try salsa from 6 different Mexican grocery stores in Vista and Oceanside all in 1 day. All were pretty good but there are two that stood out head and shoulders above the rest. In second place was Salsa Market on Santa Fe. Their green salsa was delicious. However, the best salsa in the area, hands-down is Tortilla Leon!! Their Salsa Botanera and Salsa Molcajete are the bomb. Clearly different and more flavorful than all the six we tried. Such a great store, tortilleria, Carniceria, and hot food kitchen. But that's just birria. Some days it just settles better. Every taco is a solid choice. The sauce from the tacos dorados is so so so on point. My only complaint is that it's loud af in there lol. Regardless if the place is packed or tour the only one in there. But that's it. Get it to go or sit outside. Or heck, ask them to turn it down. Try the requeson taco dorado. Not a lot of restaurants have it and it's worth it. Definitely try this place out.
