I really needed a new screen protector. Mine has been broken for awhile which made the phone screen look broken. I use my phone so much I got tired of looking at those cracks. My mom and I were at HEB and saw Gadget MD in the store. I stopped in and spoke to David who was on his way out to pick his mom up from the airport. So sweet of him to stop and fix my phone! My 17 year daughter works at HEB in Vintage where she says the gentleman who owns Gadget MD is always there 7 days a week. Low and behold, her iPhone's audio stopped working. If I called her, she can hear my voice, but I couldn't hear her voice. Normally, we would just text, but my fear was that in case she had to make a 911 call, she could not be heard by the dispatcher. We brought her phone to Gadget MD and he diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes. I'm those 5 mins, two people came by and picked up their phones and raved about how good he was with fixing their phones. Well, it's true. He fixed her phone in less than 15 minutes and he charged us a very fair rate. From now on, we know exactly where to take our phones! Thanks, Gadget MD! I would NOT recommend any person to bring their phone to this place/ location. I brought an iPhone in to have the front camera fixed. They had to order the camera and told me it would be in the next day. I came back the person took my phone and I shop unnecessarily while I waited for the repair to finish. After about 45 minutes I returned only to find they did not have the camera in stock to complete the repairs. Time wasted that I cannot get back. When the camera gets there two days later they fix the camera and tell me I have a battery issue and the battery has to be replaced. In all honestly the phone did not hold a charge very long BUT IT WORKED. I agreed to have the battery replaced, which had to again be ordered. Days later I return to get the battery replace only to be told there is another issue. All of a sudden, I have a mainframe issue which cost almost $200 to repair according to the gentleman. I explained to him this phone is just for my 4 year old to use on WIFI to get on YouTube and FaceTime her parents and grandparents. Surely if my phone had a "main frame" and worked with a battery that would not hold a charge, it should definitely work with a new battery. At this point, the phone no longer comes on unless it is on the charge and the phone will not charge at all. I had to explain to a 4 year old who was so exciting to think she had her own phone, that I could no longer give her the phone. Having to watch my daughter cry in agony was extremely painful. They took a Christmas gift away from a 4 year old in an attempt to make more money. The workers acted if they were so concerned about the phone and wanting to help but it was a performance that deserves an award. I'm disgusted and would not recommend and persons to deal with the scammers at this location. read more

I literally could not give a worse review for this place. Incredibly unprofessional and low-quality work! I cracked the back of my phone and went to get it fixed and left with broken volume buttons. I went back to get it fixed and was told I would need to pay for the fix. Left again with a broken mute switch, the face recognition doesn't work and the volume buttons stopped working again. I ended up just getting a new phone altogether because of how much damage this dude did and now, trying to take out my SIM card but can't because of how messy he applied the adhesive! Needless to say, I will never go to this place for a phone repair again. read more

I had Verizon for many years and decided to switch over to AT&T. In order to get the phone special we had to trade in our existing phones. Two teenagers, two cracked screens. I decided to get the phones fixed in order to receive the full AT&T credit. The AT&T store recommended Gadget MD. Naveed was incredibly helpful, kind and responsive. He told told me exactly what he'd be doing, how much it was going to cost and how long it was going to take. The next day like clock work he called and I picked up the phones.
