I wish I never went to this repair shop for my iPhone 11 pro max. Ever since then i've had bad luck with this phone screen. Right away I could tell that the screen was much lower quality than the original screen. The phone lights looked bluer and less clear. Then my phone started to glitch every night- I had to start putting it on do not disturb because the whole night it would be operating itself! Even so, I woke up one day and my phone was completely locked out and I had to erase my entire phone (not backup), because of this shady screen they installed!!! Now my right side of my screen won't work and I have to go to an authorized apple installer for a new screen to spend even more money!! Note for everyone who thinks of going with this company: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY!!!! Pay the extra money and go to an Apple Authorized Shop! I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON AND WILL NOT BE BACK!! read more

I wish I had listened to the reviews and not taken my phone here. My iPhone 11 has been acting up ever since it was in the care of Gadget Repair. They repaired my screen and immediately after the sound on/off switch stopped functioning. The man on the phone when I called just kept telling me it wasn't his problem. Aside from that the screen he installed is faulty. It double taps the space bar constantly(as you can see), and the screen won't light up unless you hit the lock button. Update: my new screen now has a mind of its own and operates without touching it. DO NOT let him SCAM you with his "1 month warranty" when I brought the issues to the business owners attention he told me I had one week to bring my phone in or he would not be doing anything to repair the faulty screen that HE INSTALLED! DONT TAKE ANY IPHONE THAT HAS FACE ID I was about to throw hands with this guy. All I needed was a new screen on both sides of the iPhone XR. As soon as he was done, my phone lost service and he suggested me to get a new SIM card stating mine wasn't good. I proved him a phone call I have had moments before and still didn't bother fixing it. I went to T-Mobile to get another SIM and went back to the gadget store 2 days later after noticing missing small bolts which made my volume button useless & Face ID also!! He never programmed my screen which needed to be done in order to get Face ID. He probably don't know how. I was already pissed for wasting my time so as soon as I got there I had my phone opened up to show him the details he had missed. He tried ignoring me so I took it in my own hands and started to look for the screws he "stole" from me. Went in to get my phone screen repaired, the guy at the front was on a call so we waited. After 15 minutes we realized he was arguing about 20$ with his phone service. We left immediately after. I've never been so blatantly ignored by a customer service rep. Sad he lost a sale over such a small amount of money. Never going back. read more

Came in here to do a simple battery replacement for my Samsung Galaxy S8+. The repair was quick and inexpensive, however 10 minute after I left the place, my screen started flickering and went out. After returning immediately to the shop, I was told that "theres no way they could have been responsible for this", and that I "somehow must have damaged my screen after I left" (In reality, it is likely they damaged the connection ribbon cable during the repair.) After a few lackluster attempts to diagnose the issue by the tech, I was told they could replace my screen: however they would be charging me for the repair. At no point did the shop apologize or take ANY responsibility for the issue. They continued to blame me for the defect. After a continued back and forth they finally removed their replacement battery and gave me a refund. However I am now the proud owner of a phone with a non working/defective screen. Terrible experience. They replaced my iPad screen and home button. Before doing so, they neglected to advise they would use inferior quality and functionality for the home button; no longer could read fingerprint. Had I known this upfront, I would have gone elsewhere and saved the time and money of having it done twice. When I demanded a refund on the portion of the bill for the home button, they argued until relenting when another customer came in. Run from this place as fast as you can. read more

so I went to get my phone fixed and I got it fixed from what I could see everything look good. The next hours I started noticing glitches where I click the screen and nothing would happen and I would have to turn off my phone and turn it back on before I could click the screen. I was unable to go into the store to get it fixed because I was out of town. Once I got back into town that day my phone completely stopped working. It would glitch out turn on and then turn off my Siri still worked but the screen wasn't. I took it in the next day because they were already closed the day it completely stopped working. When I went in the next days and explain to them everything and they told me it's because I drop my phone. I didn't drop my phone not once after they repaired it. The guy that was fixed my phone repeatedly kept telling me I cracked my phone and dropped it. There was no cracks on my phone. After arguing about how it was his fault and not mine I finally just left. Such disrespectful employees and 100% would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Brought my phone in with a broken screen. The girl at the counter said that it needed to be replaced. She had it ready in about an hour. When I brought the phone home the battery would not charge beyond 5 percent. It had charged to 100 percent the day before. Took it back to Gadget Repair. This time a guy was there. I told him about the battery problem. He said it needed a new battery. I told him that the battery was fine until they worked on it. He would admit no responsibility! He said that he didn't know what I may have done to the phone. After much argument, the only concession that he would make is to put my old broken screen back on and refund my money. I took it to another local repair shop where they found that the phone had been damaged and even with a new battery still would not recharge. I ended up having to get a new phone because of the damage done by Gadget Repair. Beware!!!! read more
