Our entrees were pretty good, not great. The sweet and sour soup was really good. Service was ok, felt like we were an inconvenience to them. Probably wouldn't return.

Gaga has been here for a long time. It's a very tiny space, but can accommodate larger party on their inner side tables. The space is built out like a U-shape. The entrance side has small tables for parties of 2-4. Now the quality can be hit or miss on certain dishes but overall it's yum, canto style food. Service pretty quick, they always take care my group when we roll thru on the occasions. Sizzling beef fillet in black pepper sauce Salt and pepper medley (squid, shrimp, pork chop) Vermicelli garlic noodles with clam/scallops is a must. We got whole chicken with scallion Fried pig intestines Crispy tofu with shrimp Egg with shrimp (didn't care for this one) Steamed tilapia with soy sauce fresh, market price Salty fish fried rice Egg plant black bean sauce? Beef stir fry Everything was tasty overall. It's a go to spot for our annual Fantasy league celebratory dinner haha.

The location is in Chinatown. All the dishes are pretty good. Parking is hard to find if you're driving a few blocks. Sometimes, there's a spot available. Additionally, there are parking lots nearby, but they cost $ 15-20. This penking pork is good Overall I was satisfied with the food. My friend David Romanow took me here. Thank you, Dave

Wow! Wow! Wow! We have been in Boston for several days and have been underwhelmed by the variety of food we have had here. Our visit to Gaga Seafood changed that! We ordered the hot and sour soup, ginger scallion lobster, and the rosted pork lo mein. The soup was true to it's name hot and sour... a welcomed burst of flavor to my Mexican palate! The lobster was delicious and so tender and the lo mean, flavorful. And equally important, all the food was piping hot to my husband's content! GAGA Seafood has been a redeeming food experience for us and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Boston!

Solid Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. The restaurant isnt anything fancy, but food is fresh, yummy, hot and affordable. We came here for dinner on a Friday and didn't have to wait for a table for 2. When you walk in there are only a few tables, but it seems like they have another back room that seats more people. We got the clay pot tofu and fish, string beans, pan fried seafood noodle and a fried pork with a sweet sauce. Portions are big! Finished dinner with complimentary red bean soup.

Very good food. Food comes out faster than McDonalds. Quality is superb. Recommend! Very happy customer I am.

Solid Cantonese Chinese restaurant, a gem! Despite the older restaurant feel, the food was delicious. It hit the spot for us from Toronto and that's rare! Waiter was friendly and went over the top to even help us maneuver our stroller, we were all amazed. Food was flavorful as anticipated and well seasoned. We enjoyed the food and cozy atmosphere, would be back for sure.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times and each time is a good experience! They're small and don't look like much at first glance, but the food is delicious and very authentic. One of the chefs recently came here from another restaurant in town that we used to frequent. He's the OG. He makes the best suan cai yu (sichuan fish with pickled mustard greens). It's such a comfort food for me. The spice & flavor is hard to find elsewhere in town! The ginger & scallion twin lobsters were so fresh and tasty. Cooked just right. Nobody likes overcooked seafood! I also loved the garlic snow pea shoots/leaves. My favorite vegetable dish at Chinese restaurants. My family rave about their garlic yellow eel pot! I'm not that big on eel, but this dish was cooked so well and was so tasty, I ate quite a bit myself! The owner is very friendly and knows my aunt. They always treat us like family. I'm so impressed with every dish they serve.

This is a great place to get delicious lobster at good value. We came to this place based on Yelp reviews and because we were craving for lobsters. From the outside, the restaurant seems small, but it has ample space inside. They have a few round tables, which is always preferred for these type of shared meals. The staff were efficient and friendly. They recommended good dishes for us to try. And they did not disappoint. We can out of the restaurant feeling satisfied without breaking the bank. I especially enjoyed the variety of dishes that we got. They had their own unique taste that made me eat more. Everyone, especially the kids, wanted seconds (and thirds and fourths). We finished all the food that we ordered. Would love to go back and try their other dishes.

Gaga is a solid choice for authentic Chinese cuisine! Since it's Chinatown, parking is tough. These are some street parking and a private parking lot nearby. It's a small restaurant with a basic plain interior. I highly recommend the Sizzling Beef with Black Pepper, Bird's Nest, Deep Fried Crispy Chicken, Spicy Salt Calamari, Beef with Vegetable, Peking Style Pork Chop, Fish Casserole, Sliced Pork, Chicken, and Roast Pork w/ Bean Sprout on Pan Fried Noodles. All of these dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. For a Chinese restaurant, the service was excellent! Our served checked on us frequently, refilled our drinks, and gave us updates about our food order. He was also very helpful and did things without having to be asked. The bathroom was okay, there is only one small unisex bathroom.

We came for their lunch special of $22.95 for 3 items. The portion size was decent. It came with white rice. We got pig intestines along with the lunch special. It was crispy and chewy. For pick 3 , we got calamari, beef with bitter melon and mo pa tofu. They all were tasty but the calamari had the most flavor. Overall a good deal. Service was fine

This was our first Chinese meal in Boston and we found this place. It's not fancy but we were pleased with the quality of the lobster and pea tips. The pea tips are pretty expensive at $23 but it's what my wife wanted. This is also our first Boston lobster so we don't have any other comparison. The lobster meat came easily out of the shell which is an indicator of freshness. I would come back to try the steamed oysters or scallops.

How much are the twin lobsters at Gaga?

They're market price so it changes depending on the season, but I went two months ago (February 2019) and it was $36.99. If you're getting it with sticky rice though, the rice is an additional $6.

Shanghai Classic Pork Pan-Fried Buns上海生煎饅頭: I was instantly hooked! It's hard to imagine finding such good pan-fried buns in the US. Almost every table ordered them, so they were all freshly made, piping hot. The bun was made with unleavened dough, making it chewy and refreshing, with a light, crispy bottom--not oily or hard. The meat filling was substantial and tender, with plenty of broth (see picture). It was sweeter than salty, incredibly umami. The chili oil was also very fragrant, and dipping it in Zhenjiang vinegar enhanced the flavor and cut through the greasiness. Shredded Pork & Preserved Vegetable Noodle Soup雪菜肉絲麵: The noodles were thin and round, with a soft, mushy texture. While the noodles were clearly machine-made, this isn't a problem in the Yangtze River Delta region; the issue was likely overcooking. The shredded pork were well-stirred, with tender meat, but the noodles lacked flavor. They had to be eaten with the pickled mustard greens雪菜 to be slightly salty, and the umami flavor was severely diluted. The tableware is all disposable, and tipping is not mandatory. It's quite affordable.

They come out piping hot and fresh, and can kind of be hazardous if you bite into them too quickly and cause the soup to spurt out. I don't think I've had better ones in the states! In fact, even in Shanghai, it's kind of hard to find good ones sometimes (at least ones that serve them all day and not just for breakfast). It's more of a takeout place as it's rather small, but the interior is clean and bright.

Limited street parking out front, but there are more street metered parking on the side street (next to the green line). The restaurant is much smaller than the Weymouth location, and the menu selection is also different. The server asked me to scan the QR code on the table for the menu, so I'm not sure if they have a paper menu. You can place the order directly via the QR code. I requested one dish to be non-spicy, and they were able to accommodate that. The only thing was that both dishes were a little bit too salty than my liking. I came here during a weekday lunch, and it wasn't super busy. I would return again.

Even though the restaurant was super super busy, a lot of people waiting for a seat, and there was only one server, a very friendly man, we had water refilled and all the dishes arrived quickly.
