Table laden with dim sum offerings
    Ken C.

Excellent dim sum offerings! Though on the smaller side (too small for circulating steam carts), they nevertheless have a large selection to choose from with pictures and descriptions. You order what you want from a sheet and it comes promptly, steaming hot and delicious. Service is good and attentive. My only quibble is that the prices seemed a little high to me ($6.99 per dish) - but then, it's been a while since I did dim sum and who knows, with inflation and tariffs, maybe that's the going rate these days. Cash only.

Windsor Dim Sum is my go-to spot for dim sum in Boston! It's one of those places where you go in, eat amazingly well, and get out quickly -- and honestly, that's part of the charm. The service is super fast, the food always hits the spot, and everything comes out fresh and delicious. There can be a bit of a wait during peak hours, but it's always worth it. If you're craving classic dim sum without the fuss, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Solid spot for dimsum! All the items we got tasted quite good. The #26 Pan Fried White Turnip Cake was a huge hit among our group. The #44 Fried Shrimp Balls and #47 House Pan Fried Pork Dumplings were especially oily, but that's why there's hot tea. Just wish the portions could be bigger for some of the items

*CASH ONLY* Windsor Dim Sum is a Boston Chinatown staple. We've been coming here forever and the quality is consistently good. The main difference is the prices have increased a lot, yet their portions remained the same. Regardless, you can't go wrong with any of their staple dishes such as Siu Mai, Har Gow, Shrimp & Chive Dumplings, etc. When you go first thing in the morning, their dishes are piping hot and delicious. Dine-in is cash only, so make sure you have some handy.

I've been to lots of spots in Chinatown, but this was actually my first time here! My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch and shared a beef dish and a side of bok choy. I'd say the food was pretty standard for Chinese, nothing amazing, but not bad. That being said, I'd prefer Taiwan Cafe and some of the other options in the area. It's a pretty casual spot and the service is okay. I'd be happy to go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Got here a little after noon on a Saturday and was initially told a 15-20 minute wait, but it ended up being so much shorter, less than 5 minutes. They don't have a place to wait, and they mention waiting outside on the street, but luckily I did not follow that advice and waited inside by the host desk and was able to hear my name being called. The service was fairly quick and while this place doesn't have cart service, it can be a nice change not having to wait for a cart to come around that has something you want.

Dim sum served all day. Small place with large round tables you might get placed on to share with others. You order your items by marking it down on the paper. The food was pretty good but not spectacular. I don't think people come to Boston to eat Chinese food but there's only so much lobster and Italian food you can eat before you just want something different. They PREFER cash...so it's not strictly cash only even though they tell you that.

Good dim sum, fast service, and very reasonable prices (~$6/dish). The place was pretty much full, but we got seated right away at the communal table for 2 separate weekend lunches. My favorites are the fried mochi pork dumplings and salted egg yolk sesame ball, but I liked everything we tried. I'm not picky about dim sum though--and you shouldn't be either!

I've never had dim sum at night before. We enjoyed the food! The dim sum was not too salty. The egg custard could be sweeter. The vegetables we got were too expensive and a bit flavorless, but I want veggies to balance all the meat and carbs we were eating. The table service was fine, but I don't appreciate: 1. Cash Only, no credit cards even though I believe there was signage posted for "Visa." 2. Being pressured to tip. 3. The waitress trying to seat us right next to other customers. We left one seat between us and strangers, but we can tell that the waitress was trying to push us all uncomfortably closer together. It's already a pretty awkward situation to eat with strangers at the same round table, and to try to squish us shoulder to shoulder-- very inconsiderate. 4. Charge for take-out bag. This won't be the last time we will be in Boston, but a two-star rating (for mandatory tip and mediocre service) means we don't want to come back (and won't be coming back) despite the good (but not amazing) food.

The food was amazing hands down. i didn't have anything bad to say. the service is quick. we got in and out. it may not be the dim sum i'm used to where they roll carts around. they gave a menu and a pencil and i marked what i wanted. it was delicious and we stopped by after flying all day. it was well worth it. everything pictured, we spent $180

CASH ONLY! Great place to bring a hungry group. The dishes were reasonably priced. Definitely the best crab Rangoon I've had. Some other favorites were the steamed pork bun and the fried shrimp and chive dumpling.

As a kid, I used to love coming here for dim sum. Winsor is a smallish Chinese spot that offers dim sum & other Chinese dishes. It was my favorite place to go for dimsum in Chinatown but since then, have not visited much. Today, I was feeling hungry and wanted to order something for lunch. I decided to hop on UberEats and do some searching. I ended up getting Winsor today after canceling out the two other places I had in mind. I got 3 items: a large pork & century egg congee, fried dough, & a dimsum item steamed pork wrapped w/ bean curd in oyster sauce. Very yummy, especially with the hot chili oil! I wish I had asked for white pepper for the congee but still had the perfect amount of salt. Overall, I recommend coming here for dim sum or even just for some Chinese food!

We ordered four items: rice rolls with curry fish balls, an egg custard lava bun, Ovaltine French toast, and the fried chicken bolo bao. The rice rolls were mild but fine, topped with enough cilantro and scallion to keep it interesting. The lava bun was hot, gooey, and did its job. (GOOD JOB, LAVA BUN!) The Ovaltine French toast? Eh, it aite. But here's the heartbreak: the chicken bolo bao. The chicken wasn't hot; it had that "sat around" feeling. And the bun? Just a dressed-up brioche, missing that true bo lo bao magic.
