My 5 year old York heat pump died Wed evening on a 90 degree day in N. Georgia. It was installed by RS Andrews, but Thu AM I called my current HVAC company, Gagne. York apparently doesnt have a lot of parts and dealers but the Gagne service manager finally tracked them down, got them delivered Sat am. Gary arrived at 11AM and by 1155 Sat the system was fixed. Needed a whole new AC/furnace system for the upstairs and Gagne pricing came in the middle of 5 quotes so pricing is on target. Salesperson didn't try to oversell or was pushy, just followed up in a timely manner. Installation was done quickly, within 2 days of the purchase, since we were down and out with no AC in the bedrooms. Very clean and professional install. I even had a system issue with the main floor system the following day and although it was unrelated and mere coincedence, they helped walk me troubleshoot and I was able to execute a DIY repair! I originally removed my review due to harassment from vendor. Decided that is not the right avenue to take for the others to know what we were up against. Our experience was horrible: expensive diagnostics ($199), inaccurate diagnostics (did not work with Trane, just guess work) led to $1200 warranty part removed and cooling problem was still existent (now needed condenser replaced for another $1700, harassing and bullying emails ( will post if vendor attempts this type of treatment). Eventually had another company actually fix the issue as they contacted Trane while they were at our house. New vendor replaced condenser at reduced cost ($850). New vendor diagnostic service is $75. We had enough and decided to keep our review so others can make an informed decision. Best of luck but we will no longer use or recommend this company. read more

Gagne's team of professionals made our AC repair experience short & sweet - from start to finish. We called our Home Warranty company last Tuesday morning and Gagne had a technician at my home within 3 hours! SAME-DAY APPOINTMENTS ARE ALMOST UNHEARD OF THESE DAYS, RIGHT? Well, not for this company (thank goodness since I'm a total cupcake when it comes to sleeping in the heat). When you live in Georgia - Being comfortable in the August heat is CRITICAL... Gagne understands and they really delivered with amazing service. They dealt with our Home Warranty company swiftly and had the parts ordered immediately. If they hadn't had to worry about the Home Warranty company's process - I think they could have had us repaired right away. That being said - the very moment our parts arrived from the Home Warranty Parts Vendor - Gagne called to set up the follow-up appointment & I called them back AFTER HOURS no less [around 7pm] this past Monday and Jeff set the appointment for the following morning - between 8am-12noon! Totally ridiculous how easy it was to work with them. Gagne had the repairs done within a couple of hours and we couldn't be more grateful. BEWARE of doing business with Gagne Heating and Air. At first I thought they were a reputable company with all the 5 star reviews on google and Nextdoor. However I learned otherwise and caution anyone using them to not blindly trust them nor these supposed reviews. They offer short-term, band-aid solutions that lead to larger problems over time. I have lost over $1000 worth of repair and maintenance in a year all to end up needing an entirely new system. If they had done a thorough and proper inspection, I could have saved thousands of dollars. After multiple consultations with other hvac companies, they confirmed several red flags including safety hazards that this company never even mentioned! The other hvac companies said that had these issues been properly addressed my system wouldn't have failed prematurely. When I brought this up with ownership, they were unwilling to offer any remedy, were condescending, rude, and disrespectful. They told me to take my business elsewhere, which I advise you to do as well. Not only do they not value the customer or your business, but they also are far more expensive than their competitors. read more

I had Gagne our to my house this last week for an AC tune up, and cleaning,and had a duck repaired . Which i was happy with. When all was said and done i had a bill of $473 , which seemed a lot to me and substantially more then i had paid in the past for the same service. Then i received a list of items that could be a problem, in the future, with a large price tag on it. My system is running fine , and will get a second opinion . I've been using Gagne now for almost a year. I am so happy with this company. The technicians I've had at my house are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Both of our AC units went almost simultaneously this week. Our systems were over 17 years old and it was time to replace them. We've been extremely cautious letting service people in our home due to COVID-19 as we have a few people in our home that are immunocompromised. The 2 crews that we had at our home really listened to our concerns. We asked them to keep their masks on for the exception of being in the attic, outside and down in our basement. Every time they walked into the main part of our home the masks went on and stayed on. We had 2 units replaced at our previous home a few years ago and this company is on target with their pricing.
