My husband and I, stopped in to look for a Triglide Harley Davidson. We talked to Jon, one of her salesmen. He was awesome. He showed us several and we found the perfect one in our price range. He explained the benefits of the trike and the process they go through when a used bike is taken in for sale. We wanted to look around at a few other bikes before we decided. There was no pressure to stay. We returned and he helped us by getting a back rest added since that was a necessity. We met Michelle, Kaleb, Evan, and he made sure we got to talk to Gail. They made us feel secure in purchasing and the whole group made us feel like family. Karolyn helped us through financing. Jon even arranged to have it delivered to our home within two days! I just purchased a 2014 Switchback from Gail's today and I was surprised at the level of service I received, most businesses you deal with now days are only interested in getting as much of your money as possible as quickly as possible but that was not the case with Gail's. I was escorted to each department and introduced to the employees and had all my questions answered. If you are shopping for a Harley make sure you visit Gail's and you will be treated like royalty I have a Harley dealer within 5 miles of me and I will still go to Gail's 20 miles away. Took my 2005 wideglide in for new tires mount balance and true. They sent me my bike home with a broken rear spoke!

I spent a ton of time trying to make a deal with the sales manager. He would say one thing one minute something totally different the next. YoYo tactics and very disrespectful. When i discussed my concerns with Gail she could care less. This is not a place to do busniess with if you want to be treated with respect and not total taken advantage of. Gail HD has an amazing set up, to the point I wonder if there is a connection between Gail HD and Worth HD. An excellent sound system and layout made for bike nights. They have an excellent selection of swag and bikes. The staff is friendly, and because they like to make money, they are open 7 days a week (you would be appalled how many dealerships are closed multiple days a week and barely open for banker's hours). Recommend not doing business in buying a bike from Gail's. They are giving false information about other dealerships hoping you will not check details with other dealerships. Gail's HD is the most pathetic Harley dealership I have ever visited. They are all about money, money, money, and not customer service or appreciation. I have personally went through the entire sale process on a 2018 motorcycle and at the end of the deal I would have paid double the value of the bike. Their Gail's VIP package is a total rip off and does not do justice to customers. Don't buy from this dealership because they will put on a good face at first then take advantage of you later. I am really surprised this dealership is still open and not closed due to not taking care of their customers. They need to learn the value of customer service and the importance of returning customers. Had I went through with the deal, I would have been in financial debt for a long time and the salesperson (Will) and financial person (Gordon) were very excited to bury a customer. There are plenty of HD dealership in the Kansas City/St. Joseph area that are genuine and will make a deal that won't break the bank and be able to trade after a few years. I've never left a review for any business, but my experience here 2 days ago warrants it. My battery was dying on '94 1200 Sportster. I called and spoke to Travis, and gave him the OEM part number I had. He told me they had a superseded part # for the battery. I asked him to hold one, he said no need they had multiple in stock.. I got a jump for my bike and headed over to pick up/switch out. I was met by sales person Matt, who proceeded to stand next to me making awkward conversation while I waited in line for parts (only 1 of 3 parts counters open, and he was on the phone). From seriously trying to convince me to buy a new bike because my battery died, to trying to sell me a new bike b/c he assumed my wife/fiance/girlfriend (he never asked just threw those out) didn't like the sportster.. At that point parts counter opened up, I bought battery and headed back outside to switch. When i got to my bike I realized the Terminals were on the wrong side (ie stock harness wouldn't reach). Went back inside to inform Travis of issue - he told me "oh, it looks like someone put the wrong battery back in that spot. We don't have any of yours available" I then said ok, well can someone give me a jump to get back home then? "You'll have to talk to the front desk, we just deal with parts" I went to front desk, gal told me - 'you'll have to walk back and ask the service guys' Waited about 15 mins for service guy (2 guys ahead of me) and Daniel (service guy) said "sorry I ride a bike, we're service we don't deal with parts"...After 5 mins of pleading for a jump, he did offer to put my battery on a charger for a couple hours (which I obviously didn't have) After some convincing one of the other guys reluctantly gave me a jump. Fast forward 2 days, I've since received 2 phone calls and a text (from Samantha and Matt) both calling about my interest in buying a new bike. "What color did you want" "When can you come pick it out" Bottom Line - Parts guys don't know jack (superseded part # turns into battery in the wrong spot? give me a break) - Customer Service doesn't mean s*** (not once did they apologize for the misinformation on the phone, didn't care that I made an effort to get there to them, and Daniel at service was rude to guy in front of me as well) - Sales people are overly aggressive (using phone # i provided for battery warranty to call and solicit unwelcome sales - bad form) - These guys only understand shiny chrome and selling new bikes, not appreciating customers who have been long-time harley owners, who still believe in OEM parts and are willing to pay the premium for them Gail - you should be ashamed of your crew and focus on employee training/improvement. I'm taking my future business to Rawhide Harley - worth the extra 20 min. drive - No-pressure, parts guy knew the part by memory, and tagged one for me on the phone. I stopped in here to pick up a t-shirt for a family member during my recent trip to the area. This is one of the larger Harley dealers I have ventured into, but strangely enough one of the least staffed ones. I'm fairly certain while I was in here I only saw 2 employees. One was a girl in motor clothes and another was a salesman that was on the phone. As far as the inventory goes they seem to have a little bit of everything although nothing really stood out. I did not see a single CVO bike in the store and they seemed to have a lot of duplicates of the same bikes they did have. The clothing girl was very helpful and even grabbed a few items from the clearance rack to offer me. read more

I own a older Harley and visit the parts department often. I order a lot of odd parts trying to get the bike back to mostly stock parts. The parts people could take off running when they see me come in the door! But they have been the most helpful people I've worked with. They all have gone above the challenge to help me and never once said anything that would stop me from asking questions (even stupid questions).. I've gotten calls back from them with advise I needed on parts that are hard to find, and I was never treated like I was any trouble to them. Hats off to parts folks for all the help!!! Thank you!!! I took motorcycle classes here over this past weekend with my dad, and we both agree it was hands-down the most fun weekend we've had in 2013 so far! The instructor was VERY knowledgeable and very friendly, he made sure that everybody in the class was comfortable and on the same page, and the class itself was a blast! Also, the class size we at max. capacity- with only 6 people in it, so you got tons of personal attention and critique!!! The dealership also has a wide variety of motorcycles and accessories, and a VERY friendly staff who don't seem like they're pushing anything on you and really are just there to help out, educate, and make sure your experience 100% rocks! I am completely impressed with the dealership as a whole- the classes, the staff, the selection, everything! I will be returning for all my motorcycle needs once I get my state license and am ready to ride! read more

I simply just called to get an estimate on my bike to have it fixed. They act like every bit of information is controlled by the mob. After three calls a Daniel called me and was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. He only wanted to prove me wrong more then he wanted to help. I just wanted an estimate and the best he would give me is that it would cost 120 dollars to get it in the door then they would go from there. I have had people come out and give me an estimate to put in a septic tank in, " just a estimate". I couldn't even get past the phone call with these people. I know one thing leads to another but he was trying to be as rude as possible like I had to bow to him. This place is a joke if you cant even get past the phone call.
