I'm going to be nice(r) and give them 2 stars considering all factors, but I agree with comments and tips: customer service is non-existent. Although the young employee at the arcade area did greet my bro and I goodbye--only as we were leaving. That was a surprise since we didn't receive any acknowledgement prior to this. And what the heck about not informing customers that outside shoes aren't allowed. Well, they are "accepted," but you're still going to get charged. Yeah. I'd like to know this please! There are posted signs, but I was distracted as I entered, it's just plain courtesy to let customers know these things. Parking was plentiful since the lot wasn't jammed pack with folks wanting to bowl here. Overall, if you won't mind the shabbiness of this place and severe lack of customer service, then their Wednesday bowling deal ($1.99 per game) is perfect for ya. But I'm not hating too much on this place since Gainesville is a pretty small city in itself. The bowling center has been around for as long as I've, well, lived. Lol. This place has been here forever and had a big makeover, arcades when you walk in- then to midnight bowling. Brought the big kids- teenagers and we all had a ball. It's Bowling!!! All had the munchies so got tons of fries- really good and the girls recommended burgers at 11pm since pizza was old... so we got burgers and they were hand made and quite good. I just went to the counter but found the team very friendly, not bitching about serving- wanted to sell food and we ate it had played 2 games for the 4 of us and stayed till closing. Still a good favorite and reminded me of 24 years ago and no complaints here. I was not served at my table but didn't expect it- so I was a happy camper. My daughter and nephew went to this bowling center and when she asked for bumpers they told her know. When she told them he was special needs the manager stated that he didn't look special needs and continued to be very rude and nasty to my daughter. When I called up there to speak to the manager she was rude and nasty to me as well. When I told her that I would be contacting the ADA she flat out stated she didn't even know why the ADA was and hung up on me! Who doesn't know what the ADA is? read more

After seeing online and in their flier the party was $140, the lady proceeds to tell my sister in law that it is $180 and that they do not use the website anymore...then why do you have the website still and print the fliers with the wrong pricing? This was one of the Friendliest places I've been to since moving to Georgia 2 years ago! The customer service was outstanding! We brought my friends granddaughters to bowl, and also had lunch. Let me tell you why I'll never bring myself or my organization back to this establishment. I'd prefer to rent a bus and go to Buford or Atlanta than to be convenienced.... So I had to call 4 times before anyone picked up the phone. I tried on different days when they were open for business. Then when I got someone, she was super sweet, took all the information down for my group order, helped me make decisions on pizza and we were done. I was feeling great. Then two hours before the event was to start, I got a call to confirm the order. Great! So far so good! I arrive 15 min early... my order is confirmed again. Awesome! I was critiqued for my assessment of how much pizza I would need so I changed my order. I was told they don't like to waste... I'm pretty sure though that what we are paying far surpasses food costs but ok, no problem. They asked when I wanted the pizza ready; it takes 15 min to make. I said now. Again, I was criticized. I said I'm pretty sure I know what my team wants. I was asked what type of beer I wanted. I told them 2 pitchers. Again, criticized. Are you sure? 2 pitchers only feeds so much. Again, I told them what I wanted. No other instruction was given so in come my team. They walk up to get their shoes and are told no. They cannot get their shoes until the entire party is here. Huh? Never experienced that before so I tried to go reason with her. Nope. She wouldn't bend. So we waited. Then the pizza came, we ate and folks were ready to bowl. They went to get their shoes and before we know it, names start popping up on the lanes. We already had a team builder where we had our lanes randomly assigned. So I go up there to ask her to stop putting our names in because we already had a system and could we put the names in ourselves. Nope. She said if she allows that, people will put up things that are inappropriate. Really? So you're going to assign our lanes without telling us? Needless to say, she wasn't happy that WE didn't tell her how we were going to be on the lanes. I've never in any bowling establishment in any state not been able to put our own names in the system. Finally after many minutes, she changes it and we can bowl. We had a good time but only because we were there as a team. Not at all because of the service from what appeared to be the Person in charge. The ladies serving our food were lovely and sweet. Unfortunately I will not use my company funds to support an establishment that can't offer a decent level of service and communication. It's unacceptable. read more

I brought my boyfriend here a week ago for his birthday and the lady working was a bit rude but we were having so much fun we just laughed it off. Well we went back today because he got new bowling shoes to test out and we saw online that Tuesday-friday was only $2.99 per game instead of $2.00 per game/per person like it states you have to pay on Wednesday. So he was going to pay for the games and I was going to pay for my shoes. The woman working (the same one from our first experience) was confused about it and she was going to charge for everything on one card and it came to be $14. When my boyfriend explained again that we were paying separately, then all of a sudden he had to pay $30 and I had to pay $4. We were getting 3 games so it should've only been $9 for the games? We tried to ask her about it but she insisted it was right, so we just went to bowl. Well my boyfriend (on his very first turn) slipped and his bowling ball got slammed into his ankle so we weren't able to play anymore since he hurt it very bad. I went to talk to the lady about it and ask for a refund since we didn't play a single game and she insisted we couldn't get a refund. My boyfriend came over and asked for the manager, who also said the same thing and then accused him of not getting hurt when he couldn't even walk and had a bruised, swollen ankle (we even had a witness who told the woman about it). Well finally after the manager made us feel even worse, she told the lady working the register just to give us a refund. They made such a big deal about how their register wasn't able to give refunds and then out of nowhere the manager just does it no problem? Oh and the lady working the register had a baby and she let him chew on one of the rental shoes!! What the heck?! That's disgusting! Do not go to this place! They are so mean. read more

So much bad with this place I don't know where to begin. I've been there 3 times over the last month and it only gets worse. It seems the more money you spend the worse you get treated, from the 'staff' at the front desk all the way down to trying to get a beer from the 'lounge'. The bowling alley is horribly dated. There is a pro shop, if you could call it that, but the guy who runs it is never there, and no one will help you with anything from the pro shop or anywhere else for that matter . The food in the snack bar is sub-par at best, and of course over priced, if you are ever able to get anyone to take your order that is. I ordered 'Mamma's Fries', seeing a picture of them on the menu. Turned out they were out of half the toppings, which they told me after I'd paid and went to pick them up. The amount was nowhere near what was shown in the picture, no refund or discount, or even an 'i'm sorry' was ever offered. Again, felt like I was bothering them. The bar is half shut down. It looks like they were thinking of a remodel or renovation, but quit soon after it was started. There isn't a bar stool that doesn't have a rip and have stuffing coming out of the cushions. Oh, and they only have beer and wine. If your center is this bad you at least need to have hard alcohol! I've even had the pleasure * sarcasm* of speaking with the owner. After voicing just one of my many concerns about his center he told me that he would run the bowling alley the way he wants and basically to go to his competitor if I didn't like it. I unfortunately have a league I have to finish for a friend, but once it is over I will never spend another dime in this horrible excuse for a bowling center, and I would URGE anyone who is looking for a league or even a night out with the family to take the time to go elsewhere. I don't know what all the complaints are about but every time I have been here the service is good. I remember when this place was a lot worse but here recently it has made a comeback as a place to hangout. The prices are fair especially for two hour game play and the laser tag can be fun even for the little ones. Alright. So basically this joint has a bunch of bad reviews, a bunch of bad accusations to its name. I have been here many times, I can't begin to count on two hands how many times. Every time, no matter what time, what staff is there, or how many people is there, the place is amazing. Every time the staff there are always polite. The people there (who are bowling) are what SOMETIMES makes the place be negative. The food is always amazing, the customer service is always great, and the bowling alley (if busy or not busy) will always bring your food. Sometimes they will tell you when its ready and then they will tell you to come and get it, but no big deal. The balls there are great, it's just the matter of finding the one that suits YOU. The lanes sometimes go down, but that is simply NOT the bowling alleys fault. The children there and the ladies and gentlemen there are sometimes a bit on the dumb side and don't have any mind of what they're doing it seems because the lane will be resetting and they will just lob their ball as hard as they can into the gutter or straight down the dern throat of the lane while the guard is still down. BUT! Everywhere else is great. This isn't the ideal place to necessarily bowl professionally, but if you'd like to go and play the game of bowling with friends or family, go for it! It is 100% worth it. But please remember: everyone has different experience and some are good with some bad. But this is a recent review not an old review. I HAVE VISITED 2019, 2020, and 2021! I've had better customer service at a McDonald's at 12 am. You would be better off paying 15 bucks to go drink the toilet water from your local Burger King than to bowl for free at this joke of a joint. If you want to go bowling just drive a little further this place is not worth it. Customer service is horrible. It took us 15 minutes just to purchase our round of bowling because she wanted to up sale us. There were no consideration for special circumstances it's their way or that's it. food is awesome and the price is very fair, linda does an awesome job at cooking,,have her do her famous chicken salad for you,,, it is so good, the lanes are the old wood lanes which are not found in too many places anymore. they do offer great deals for bowling for the family and you can do your birthday parties there too. no mess at home that way. price for wine and beer is very cheap compared to other dinner places in town. they all have been super nice and friendly to me and i have been on leagues now for about 10 years. they get alot of people who think they can do anything they want to do there, which is wrong, people need to respect places of business. if they don't they will have to go 20 miles or more to the next place of business and they don't put up with troublemakers either. read more
