I enjoyed my out out at Cherokee Lanes. From me calling them over the phone to see if they were open; Mitchell answered the phone on the first ring with excellent customer service. Arriving at the establishment and there was no trash landing around, parking lot and golf course was covered with light. The bowling alley has a MyJam juice box where you can pick songs from your phone to play. Their bartender was very respectable and knowledgeable of cocktails. Great place for the family. Would give five stars if "they replaced some of the bowling balls with some man sizes, my fingers couldn't find a better fit after checking three racks. On top of that the chili machine was down so no chili dogs, chili nachos or chili cheese french fries. Oh the there's a ceiling fan on lane 21 that swings out of control."

Warning, if you have children: First thing we notice when walking inside is that the bar left unattended with beer pitchers sitting out in open. We waited at the bar for almost 10 minutes before having to go find someone. We watched people come in and fill their cups up with the beer on counter. I assumed it was theirs but what's really stopping me from grabbing a cup to go? With all the children running around, it really surprised me alchohol was left unattended and in the open for enough time I coulda made several drinks, guzzled, and left before anyone noticed. Particularly since the employees do not wear any distinguishable clothing. I'm not even sure the "bartender", when he finally arrived, was old enough to even serve as he looked a whole 19 years old. So come here if you like to serve yourself free drinks and run! I doubt the security camera even works!

Tried to go to Stars and Strike in Woodstock that place had an hour and a half wait, so we called up Cherokee Lanes and had no waiting, this place was easy to find across the street from the high school in canton. As we walked in I could see they had added a new putt putt golf area which is really nice to see I was with my family that came in for the holidays we were able to get our pricing cheaper than first told due to asking for a discount, just a FYI. Music and atmosphere was great and I love that they have Velcro shoes no, so easy on and off. Overall we rented two lanes for 2hours got three games in between 8 people. Will go back again place was a nice break from the big bowling lanes

The staff is friendly and very helpful. Their facility is fully equipped and very accommodating. Can't wait to try the laser tag!

Of the 5 visits this summer, 4 of them have required calling for support on the bumpers, most often resulting in having to change lanes, even after mentioning as we were booking a lane that we need one that has working bumpers. I get this - it's an older facility, and I've watched grown men hurl bowling balls at the bumpers for kicks and giggles, but the basic attitude of the workers here has been difficult. The actual techs try to keep things working, and when one is actually on staff while we are there they get things going pretty quickly. If one is not on staff, though, the majority of workers report they just started, and based on how often I see new faces there I don't think that's an excuse. For whatever reasons, this location struggles to retain staff. I get it: it's a bowling alley, but apparently whoever runs this bowling alley is not hiring and/or training adequately. We typically make an evening out of our visits with food and often games as well, which is why I'm a little surprised that no real effort is made to retain us as patrons. At this point, I might as well just drive to the closer Cherokee Lanes and save a few cents on gas for the same lack of quality. ______________ In the wee hours of the morning after I posted this review, a third-party, off-shore account "replied" to my review, leaving a broken link to something called momo. The name and picture match someone listed for Stars and Strikes on LinkedIn but had the boilerplate language of a copy and paste. This is consistent with what we have experienced in Woodstock - a company that is not investing in hiring and training locally or handling complaints with honesty and accuracy.

My nephew's birthday was held here and I must say it was a wonderful first-time visit experience…read more Not sure if it was because of the upcoming holiday but for a Saturday afternoon just before Thanksgiving this place was soooooo quiet which probably made this visit even better. Located just off Mansell and next door to Sam's Club, parking was a breeze and the only issue we had was due to built up traffic from Sam's Club when we were leaving. There was plenty of space for the kiddos to have the time of their life with bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. There's an obstacle course as well but I did not see anyone on it. I liked that there were two huge separate spaces for bowling and the graphics for the kiddos bowling time was festive and they had bumpers and this cute little dinosaur assist that they could use to push the bowling ball down and they loved it. The arcade space was huge and there were a ton of options for all ages. Unfortunately a lot of the games were not working so we ended up playing a lot of the same game multiple times. For those who win enough "tickets" there's a huge "Winner's Circle" room to select the prize(s) of your choice. The kiddos also played laser tag and had a complete blast! There's a huge restaurant space and pizza spot inside but both were closed at the time. The bar area was nice and there were a good people hanging around there watching games. There a big open space for those celebrating birthdays but no private rooms that I could see so while there were several parties happening at the same time, there were moments of chaos between kids from different groups being in the same space and the tables for each groups being in pretty close proximity. The person who was assigned to our group did her best to manage our large party but she was handling everything (food, drinks, taking any additional orders) on her own. Overall a really good experience andddd I really appreciated how clean the space was including the bathrooms!

(1) The bowling ball kept getting jammed which delayed our game on lanes 13 & 14. Our 3rd lane had no problems. (2) I was asked if I wanted my group to eat 30 minutes early due to them having a larger group that will be eating the same time as us, (we made reservations), (3) I was told they would get our order for which kids wanted pepperoni or cheese pizza, then they young lady told me I did not select it on my reservation; however, I told her I was told we would give our selection before you cooked the food, (4) the Air Hockey pucks did not come out when we swiped the cards to play and the balls did not come out for Skee Ball. It was very disappointing and I had the arcade game problems last summer with my camp. We will go to other choices of this same venue going forward.

We were planning on going to the VIP area but we decided since things weren't super busy that we would go over to the standard side. I believe Kyle was the person who checked us in, and he was super helpful and gave us the end two lanes since I knew we would be loud. We were greeted by Tina, and we ordered some drinks and food to eat while we had our family competition where the game we chose was the highest score from an individual on a team is used for the "team score". This means that we can get some pretty competitive games going, and it didn't disappoint! We had people from age 10- age 84 and we had so much fun! Being a competitive family it was cool to see everyone smiling, laughing, and just having a blast. Tina was very great as our server, she was always around when we needed something and she also was cheering us on when she would be by. Also a cool thing. Afterwards, the kids headed to the Video game section. Super bummed I didn't get the guy's name, but he helped me navigate refilling some cards and getting set up so the kids could go wild. I appreciated the help. I'm not tech savvy, and he was able to top up some cards and get us rolling right away. I will be sure next month around Thanksgiving to get his name and add it here! I am excited about seeing family again next month. You can bet we will be back here, and enjoying another family outing with some competition bowling here at Stars and Strikes! Thanks to the team here. It's never a letdown.
