This office lady was so mad saying "well this is the number you left us to contact you!" I said "But I texted you a cell phone number to use instead (still no big deal, just hang up and call that number so my husband can get back to work). I wish I could post the screen shot here of the message I got to my cell phone. It said " I hope you get the day you deserve you miserable bitc*h" Over asking her to call a different number, two separate times, nicely. Was not mad about it at all. I've had them come out to do some repairs on our siding a couple times…read more Most recently it was a bigger job because of poorly designed downspout in our original house design that was leading to water damage to cedar siding. These guys came out and found the problem, replaced the siding in a very professional manner, and corrected the downspout issue so that it feeds directly into the gutter. When they noticed that there was a greater degree of damage than initially identified, they were honest about it and gave me a new reasonable quote. They went above and beyond. This time it was Nehemiah and Kevin that came out. Highly recommend.

Most establishments prices were much more expensive so we were getting discouraged. Enter Lumber Liquidators. They didn't have a sample in stock of the style we were interested in. But they sent one FedEx no charge, which came very quickly! We loved it and called to make sure they had enough in stock. They made sure we had the rest of the supplies we needed, and helped load it into our vehicle. I will update on the quality once we get it installed, but it looks comparable to any other brands.

We had been to big-box stores and other large tile stores but left without tile and more design confusion. A friend recommended Mid-America Tile in Romeoville -- so off we went one Saturday. We walked into a bright attractive store with lots of bathroom sample displays and options. The sales guy John was great. He walked us through each room that needed tile and gave expert suggestions for combinaitons (floor tile, shower wall etc). He asked great questions and made the desicion making process effortless. He was not pushy and approached it from a design perspective. He spent a long time with us answering a ton of questions -- but we finally got it all done. I would highly recommend Mid-America Tile in Romeoville.

Had to wait an hour to talk to a sales person. By the time I was finally able to speak w someone in sales, I was basically told to hurry up, we're closing. After all that, had to pick up my tile at elk grove store. Was told that my order was ready to pick up. Showed up at agreed upon time and was told my order wasn't ready. We had to wait while they picked the order. An hour of waiting. When the order was finally picked, there were two different lots of tile with badly matched colors. They had to withhold the order and go back to the manufacturer for more of one lot. When we went back two days later for the remainder of the tile, they could not find my paperwork. Fortunately, we had our copy to show them what we had purchased. So sloppy start to finish. All of this said, I would be a lot more forgiving about the experience had they responded to my email expressing my frustration with their sloppy handling of my order. I got no response whatsoever. Is customer service a thing of the past? Sad to say but it seems like it is just a fond memory for so many business. Next time I need tile, i will shop elsewhere.

I didn't know anything about stopping the devastation that water can do to a home I just knew how…read moreto remove all of the contents out of an affected finished basement and how to pull up the flooring, trim and drywall to dry it out and sometimes the remediation of mold that ruins contents, building materials and poisons the air within the whole house through the HVAC system. Customers and insurance companies were asking if I could stop this from happening again and I looked at cracks running down the thick concrete walls or water coming up from the gloor and told them that I don't know how to address that overwhelming project. We had people that went to the big box stores and purchased a variety of products to try and stop this intrusion but they never eliminated the issue although they seemed to slow it down but never enough to get a rebuild job out of it so I started researching to see if there was a permanent solution.and I came across a company that could handle this problem and I started referring them to my customers and the only problem was that after we did the initial cleanup the homeowners would get comfortable with my crew and myself and didn't want to have new people in their homes. I found out who was supplying the products and solutions that stopped the moisture and to my surprise they were local so I contacted them and told them I was interested in purchasing their products but had no clue how to use them. I figured that they would tell me to use one of their regular contracters but for my second surprise they told me that they would research my business and if I had testomonies and reviews that accredited my integrity they would bring me and my crew in for training. So we received several days of hands on training but of course my second job with wall cracks and an seemingly impossible double sump pump system were not normal and it was in a monster house in Hinsdale with several unique situations that made it seem impossible so I called Emecole since they said if I came accross something over my head just call. I figured if I explained everything in great detail maybe they vould point me in a better direction or tell me to walk away but before I could get into the details they just said they would come out andvtake a look. So obviously that was my third suprise from them and not only sid they come out to guide me they designed a custom sump system in house and I just had to install it and they showed me a way to fix a crumbling concrete wall without charging me anything and never made me feel like I shouldn't have gotten into basement waterproofing instead they reassured me that I had the best in the business that manufacture their own product and were my personal team to call in if I needed them. Non of my suppliers over the last 40 years have come close to the business model they live by. I have Marge and Ryan on speed dial and have been educated so many times and always with a positive vibe and the last thing they both say is happy I could help and just call back if you have any questions. I believe that they should branch off their business with a team to show other businesses how to do everything right. Let's say they burn 1 gallon of fuel, which is $4, and pay the driver $25/hr, this delivery expense is $4 + $8.33 = $12.33. Let's round the expense to $15 to be safe, they are profiting $44 on the delivery, not a value!!!
