Worst service ever! I took a muff in to get cleaned and they completely ruined it. The muff used to be soft, big and comfy. They gave it back to me wet, ripped/ torn, stiff and smaller, like it shrunk. Horrible experience ! Almost like burnt and all the feathers sticking out.You can definitely tell they do not handle luxury or high end items. Their communication sucks too. I dropped it off and the girl there was supposed to find out and be certain they could clean and she was supposed to call me back with the response on whether they could clean or not. She never did. Do not use. I gave them my Rag and Bone merino wool sweater which I bought on discount for $250. They were supposed to deliver it to my house. Well they never delivered it and told me it was delivered. LIE. They said they didn't charge my card. Well isn't that admission that they lost it? They said it is probably still in the truck. I will not recommend this cleaners to anyone. They charged me $25.00 to put in a zipper. And they had to send it back because they put it on the wrong side. The jacket is reversible and the zipper was not a reversible zipper and the zipper did not go to the top of the jacket. So my jacket that I had for several years is no longer my favorite jacket. If you want to lose clothes, take them to Galaxy Cleaners! My jacket I was going to wear for an event tonight, should have been done on Thursday, BUT they lost it! Guess what the manager said?? Nothing! They don't call you back. They let the poor teenagers be the middle men and basically tell you "sorry they will get back to you on Monday, when they return to work". I went in on Thursday and Friday, expected a call before 7:00 PM (before closing time) on Friday by a manager to figure out what to do... NEVER happen. Don't even bother! Horrible service unorganized, the customer service is awful. I was there at 7am to drop off my clothes waited until 7:17 no one got there. I left and later on dropped off my clothes. I come back Wednesday afternoon at 5:30 to pick up my clothes, and they have only 3 of my items! They attempt to contact their other store where I guess they send things to dry clean and didn't get a response whether or not my stuff is there. I need my clothes by Thursday since I fly out out of town and my clothes is no where to be found. I guess it's a waiting a game to see when I get contacted that my clothes is ready. read more

Got a text Tuesday night saying my items were ready and they sure were. Nothing was lost, communication was great, and my items were cleaned quite well. Went and picked them up brought them home and one of them had a mark on it. I took it back and they did a spot clean 3x on it. It did not come out. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. That the sugar from the food that was spilled on it was not coming out. I dropped my clothes off on February 24. The first batch was delayed but I eventually got them. I have one more pair pants that should have been ready for pick up on March 2.But this cleaners has yet to provide them. They have been lying to me consistently about when my pants would be ready. Today on March 12 when I went to pick up my pants they still weren't ready. Their customer service falsely accused me of cursing at them. I did no such thing! I just wanted a true timeframe of when my pants would be ready. They shamefully entreated me so bad. I will never do business with this cleaners again. I have been taking my clothes to this Dry Cleaner for several years. Always have had good service with a smile, clothes back when promised and done well. Took all my uniforms there and they always looked sharp. However recently in the past few months that has changed. Clothes are not back when promised. Today for instance. I brought laundry in on Wed. to be back Fri. after 5pm. Went in to pick up on Sat. and only half were back. Yes ticket said ready Monday but a 2 day turnaround is the norm and that is what I was told. There was also a lady in front of me whose order was to be ready on Thurs., it wasn't. She was told to come back today, Sat. and still no clothes. They are the only dry cleaners in the Goodyear/Avondale area so out of convenience I go there. Not anymore. They have LOST a customer. I would rather drive further to get good on time service than have to deal with Galaxy Cleaners in Goodyear. read more

I used Galaxy Advanced for my uniform shirts but on one occasion, one shirt had multiple stain that were not there before and they charged me. They attempted to redo the shirt to see about removing the stains, unfortunately, the shirt came back with more stains. These uniform shirts were $55 each. Therefore, they told me to contact the manager via email about the shirt and see what can be done. This was in March 2022, and I have yet to hear back from the manager at all. They did a good job until this issue, then after that they just didn't care. I would not recommend them! Look elsewhere. read more

They are a good price but they can never get my stains out of my clothes and then they ruined a pair of sentimental pants I had. I asked for $80 because they were given to me by someone very special to me. They made me give them those pants so they could throw them away even after I asked to keep them for the material. Beware if you take your clothes to Galaxy Cleaners in Goodyear. They ruined 3 things of mine out of 7. The blue top and Yellow top were in the same bag touching each other and the blue from the top bled all over the back of the yellow top. Apparently they were wet. The blue top also had a snag. And the pink dress the material was melted. They said it is not their responsibility to compensate for damage to the clothes. I should have read the back of the receipt. I am trying my best to fix the snag. The yellow top I have soaking in Theives cleaner and the pink dress there is nothing I can do since the material has melted. I only wore these items a few times. Just a note...The people working there told me they could not give out any information to get in touch with the owner. When I emailed someone at Galaxy they told me to bring the dress in. Now, I told her the story in the email if the employees working that day had really called her she would have known that my things were there. read more

I came into the Galaxy Cleaners on Saturday 05/08/2021 and was greeted by a very sour looking gal who was very abrupt with me, and when I told her that I was told it was going to be 12.50 she said " I never got a call from you " I almost asked her if she was calling me a liar, but instead I said the young man told me it was going to be 12.50 and before I got the rest of my statement out she stated that I probably called a different store. And I told her no, this is the right store ( the young man who was very nice and polite, told me that you were in the same area as Walmart ) and if she is in a bad mood I can shop elsewhere, and she told me to go somewhere else. I refused to leave and she told me she was refusing to service me. I told her no I am going to get this done, and she said NO, I REFUSE YOU SERVICE. I LEFT ! I will find out who the owner of this establishment is, and let him know that his employee could at least smile, not have an attitude, and refuse to serve a customer. She is not an asset to his company. I will be shopping elsewhere for my cleaning services. I shopped at Galaxy in Surprise for years, and never had this sort of attitude and rudeness! read more

Dropped off a rug. I was priced over the phone dropped off rug paid in full as requested told come back Monday it'll be ready I figured a week works for me. Came in Monday my rug was not back, I was then told leave a email that way when they find it or it comes back they will let me know. Today picked up my rug about a month later. The rug is still dirty doesn't look to ever have been cleaned. Mentioned it to the gentleman behind the counter he says well you can email the manager not much I can do. If it helps we priced you wrong so we didn't charge you more like we should've have when you picked it up so that's good. Don't use them. You get what you pay for. Not only did they loose my clothes they stalled for a week because they washed my husbands new white dress shirt and turned it pink! It took them weeks to reimburse after trying multiple times to clean the shirt. We had to go in 3 times just to get a check for a 40$ shirt. Well I was going to this cleaners for about a year. But the last three times it appears as though the employees cleaning my cloths aren't even washing them. Twice now I have asked for the employee to make sure there is spot clean done to the collar area and both times I have received my shirts back in the same condition I turned them in. Time to find another cleaners. I went in early and was greeted by a wonderful woman "Cherie". I stated my business that, I needed my uniform dry cleaned and pressed. Cherie, said IN by 9:00 am OUT BY 5:00 P.M. Overall it's adequate. A no-frills dry cleaners. Been using Galaxy for about 6 months... not because they are very good, mainly out of convenience having moved here. Here are some thoughts for the owner (Lyle) to improve the Estrella location: Automate your tickets, the system (non-existent) is friggin archaic and causes one to have flashbacks of the 80's. The staff (1 person) ends up having several people showing up while trying to locate the ticket on the wall making that wait about as fun as waiting in line for an IRS audit. Computers are fairly inexpensive - Lyle come into the technology age and remember - it's your customers who keep you in business... Speaking of customers, somewhat dissatisfied Lyle not taking accepting accountability for dry cleaning a brand new garment (yes, just bought and never worn) and destroying it (chemical burns?) when picked up having several holes, that's a first. Lyle denies they cleaners did this, holes must have appeared by osmosis. Guess what, you need to take care of your customers, guaranteed another cleaners will. Own up and move on. read more

I had been bringing my police uniforms to this location for over a year and they still cannot seem to reliably press them correctly. There is also evidence that they have been laundered rather than dry cleaned. As of today, I have 6 complete sets of uniform pants with triple creases. Not awesome when I get inspected at work. I have tried talking to the staff about the issue and nothing is done to correct the issue despite all efforts. The staff is polite and seems to understand the issue, however something behind the scenes is keeping the issue from becoming resolved. This is frustrating due to a limited amount of dry cleaning vendors in the area. I wonder how much it would cost to open a shop myself... read more

I would leave a zero rating if it were possible. I had a sundress that needed hemming. I called Galaxy and asked how much the charge would be and was told $15. I immediately took my dress into Galaxy and verified the the charge. At this point I was told $15 but if the gentleman doing the alterations had a different amount I would be called. I never received a call from alterations or that my dress was completed after I called three times to check on my order. I called on July 26th and was told the dress was ready. I arrived and was told the charge was $30. I said I would pay the original charge and the clerk said the person who gave me the information used the old price sheet and the alterations gentleman didn't call because the clerk also wrote down the wrong number. I said I would pay but dispute my card with my bank for the additional moneys. The clerk removed the dress and refused to let me have it because I said I would dispute the charge. I was called petty and I advised the two young ladies that I would call the police to get my clothes back. In the meantime my bill got paid and I will never go back again!! If I could give 0 stars I would. On 7/28/18 we dropped off some bedding to be cleaned and they initially lost half of it. A few days later they found the remaining uncleaned bedding pieces at the main location. We then noticed that the ones that were initially cleaned (and not lost) were discolored. We filed a claim for reimbursement of the damaged bedding as of 8/27/18 and it's now 9/7/18. We still have not received reimbursement or a phone call from the owner. They damaged and then stole my suit coat and, after a month of trying to resolve this they told me last week that they would contact me by the end of the week and cut a check (Liberty verified that they ruined the coat and could not fix it). It was a lie. No call. No check. I went back yesterday and after being told that the manager said that I refused the jacket at another location, another lie, I demanded to talk to the manager. They again refused to call her and, instead called the police and had me trespassed. My first negative interaction with police. Stay away from this place!!! Mandie, the "manager" (by title only, she doesn't seem even able to manage a call-back) is, at best, inept. But she'll "pray for you" if you don't like that they steal and ruin your property. Her own staff verified to me that she is a coward. She hides behind employees and a computer screen. Let's see if she can hide from the courts. read more

I took in my bedroom curtains to be cleaned and was told they would be ready by Saturday and I took them in Wednesday. So when I show up to pick them up I am told they are not there. The attendant at the front cashier started calling around very frustrated trying to locate the curtains and I was here for almost 40 minutes and was told that unfortunately they were lost and that they would call me when they found them. I got a call a few hours later that they were found but hat they were rejected and that they couldn't clean them because they were custom made curtains and they were afraid of ruining them. So after all that I still didn't even get my curtains cleaned and the manager never called to explain what happened or apologize or anything so needless to say I won't be coming back here it was my first and last visit. read more

They dont even deserve 1 star but yelp wont let me post without a star. Took in a white new shirt to be dry cleaned. They stained it with something brown, making the shirt look dirty. I took it back in so they could redo it. Lady said she couldnt see anything but would redo it anyway for me. I just picked it up it still has the stains from their previous cleaning plus new stains on the collar; that are very visible. Lady just kept giving me a blank stare. Extremely pissed. This place has a nice concept where they charge the same price for any article you bring, I believe $2.50 so the price is nice. Where they are lacking is with their customer service I had two different times where my clothes were not ready when they were supposed to and the girl working told me to just come back, I asked if they will be ready by the next day and she said, "tomorrow, next day, just pick your lucky day..." They have no idea how to treat their customer and how to handle a situation where they are at fault.
