We had to make them come back to finish our fence and they SPRAY PAINTED the pipe ends. It was so bad we had to go back and repaint them. We withheld $150 from the final payment because he left a pipe sticking out that we asked them to cut. We paid for a solar gate to be installed. The day they "finished" the gate, I had to climb up over the solar powered gate because they closed it and left the openers on the front porch. Darren gave no guidance or explanation as to how the gate worked. 3 weeks later I was leaving for work and the gate wouldn't work, which made me late to work. My husband called and texted him but he never answered or returned his calls. I called him from work. He told me he was not going to come look at the gate because we had withheld $150 (due to him not cutting the pipe and us having to hire someone else to come out and do it). I told him he needed to back his work and product and come look at it and he hung up on me. I texted him and he refuses to come look at the gate. It's disappointing when contractors care so little about the quality of job they do and they can't guarantee their work.

Their design and workmanship is excellent, they use top shelf materials, and, thanks in part, I'm sure, to getting on their calendar early in the season, the work was completed in a very timely manner, with no appreciable delays caused by anything but the weather. We got three estimates for the project, and for the first time in our lives, gave the job to the HIGHEST bidder. That is because, in addition to admiring their work elsewhere around Rockwall, owner Zach Simons is the sole point of contact for the estimate process on the entire project. His competitors were like, "Yeah, we can estimate the wood today, then we'll send a stone guy next week, and a gate-design guy the week after that." (Slight exaggeration there.) We had 5 companies come out for bids and after looking at all of their work and reading reviews, we decided to go with Firehouse Fence. Zach was prompt to our first appt and was understanding and flexible on the unknown timeline for installation because of the pool and construction. Once we finally got the okay to proceed with our fence, Zach had us on the schedule within the week. We went with board on board with two 4 & 1/2ft wide gates and a fence surrounding our pool equipment. His guys were efficient, courteous & professional and our fence is beautiful! Highly recommend!

Horrible experience advise you to work with any other company…read morethan this one. First the design I was quoted was not feasible due to grade of my yard. Taylor had guaranteed me the gate would be installed by my move in date. Due to his mistake/inexperience he not only missed the date but charged me $2000 more for moving the gate up the driveway past the grade. Ths biggest disappointment is his installers dropped a remote control opener in one of the gate post so they only gave me one promising me to mail me the second one (as included in the bid and invoice). I never received it even though I followed up miltiple times. Totally unprofessional and dishonest experience. And I still can't get him to give me another opener!
