I applied to be a barista in training, I was accepted to work on the first day they put me on the…read moresmoke shop side which I was like uhm I applied for barista in training in my head but I tried to stay positive. They scheduled me for a 8 hour shift so when things I got slow I asked when I can take my lunch or how did they do breaks, that's when I found out they don't give out breaks or MANDATORY UNPAID 30 MINUTE LUNCH FOR 8 HOUR SHIFT. They considered down time to be a break but we were not allowed to be on phones and didn't give us enough time to at least eat. I still tried to be positive because I was like this is a easy job maybe it will be fine up until it wasn't, I felt that having a lunch would help recharge me but since they don't allow that I often hated going to my shift. Since day 1 I hated working here, I thought about quitting everyday. Also the owner and wife were quite rude and never there so it led to a bad first impression. The trainers begin to be rude later on I could tell they didn't have patience for me and today Friday Sept.27 I decided to tell them that tomorrow will be my last day after training for a week it just wasn't for me, and I wanted to stay because I confirmed I would be doing those shifts I wanted to live up to my word but then they told me to clock out and go home, didn't even get my tips and I made well tips that day or my paycheck so I will have to wait for the next paid period in 2 weeks. I then ask would u still like me to come tomorrow and they said no. So not only did I try to put my full effort into a 16.50$ job just to be fired but I felt I was mistreated and hope that me writing this helps future employees as well as the ones there realize that it's not a well work environment.

I've been coming here for a few months. Never had any…read moreissues and had decent experience purchasing product until recently. On Thursday 5.24.21 I purchased multiple disposable vapes on Thursday including a Rare Mega 5000 puff Hawaiian Freeze unit for about $30 from Tom. He was quite helpful and kind. I tested in store as they ask and all units worked appropriately. I didn't start using the RARE unit until Monday 6.28.21 and I don't use vapes during the work hours (9-6) so I've only really used it for a few hours. This evening I went to use the unit and after approximately 10 minutes, it failed to work. I called the store to advise them of the issue. I reached Tom again who was very nice and said that he would need to call the manager to discuss. I advised I would come into the store as I was in the neighborhood. When I went into the store Tom advised me that the manager, Stephanie, said that there was "nothing they could do". I very much understand protocol and rules. I also think that reason and logic has to come into play when dealing in that type of industry. They know when I bought the device. They know that I've been a frequent customer recently. They know that sometimes devices are faulty and this was an expensive device. I am guessing they know that I've also never complained about a purchase. They could have done better and should have. Customer service is an art and some people just don't have the ability to create. I won't be using them any time soon and you probably should either.
