She was very thorough in checking different areas of my back and hips and ultimately determined that my ribs were the problem. I was dealing with blood blisters, a poor latch, doubts and fears about supply, and a baby that was temporarily not gaining enough weight. As a first-time mom, it was extremely stressful, and there were many tears. However, Juliana's visits always left me feeling more informed, reassured, and capable. We also did a weighted feed during every visit, which confirmed that my baby was indeed getting enough to eat. I still remember the relief I felt when I learned that. Juliana is a big reason why I decided to stay the course with breastfeeding. (Thank goodness, because now I LOVE it.) My insurance covered the cost of the visits, so I just paid the $60 travel fee. I also attended her breastfeeding class with my husband before giving birth. This was super helpful, but I recommend taking the class within 1 month of your due date. We took it a bit too early in my pregnancy, and forgot a couple things by the time I gave birth. I did a little research and spoke to 3 midwives. However there is something special about Amanda and choosing her as my midwife was a no brainer. For one, she offered to have our first meeting at my house. Second, upon meeting her, she had such a calm demeanor and soothing voice that my worries and anxiety regarding a home birth went away. From then on my interactions with Amanda became more meaningful. I always brought my first son to all my appts and Amanda was so sweet at letting him play with her stethoscope. During these appointments she talks to your baby as she is checking baby's heartbeat. She looks at your health holistically, and even allowed to me to talk about stress and worries that I was experiencing at the time. I feel this was so important for my overall pregnancy health. The day I have birth I was already experiencing intermittent labor and my water was leaking out. Amanda came over and offered different options on how to get my labor to progress, and was so patient with me as I was able to dictate what I wanted to do and not do. She gave me the space to listen to my own body. She was incredibly patient and calm and guided my husband and I every step of the way. And let me remind you, her voice is so soft and soothing that when you are in the thick of labor contractions, she is all you will want to hear. Several hours later, my son was born and Amanda was by my side! Amanda is truly a caring person and it is evident that she loves what she does. Her energy is so warm and inviting. When my baby met her, he just melted into her, as if he knew her. This entire experience was nothing short of incredible for me, and I really have Amanda to thank for that. My wife and I expressed concerns about her pelvis being too narrow but she brushed it off and we believed her. A mistake that nearly ended my new family. She would say that something was fine and then would say that the same thing was concerning. We chalked it up to her being a bit eccentric. On top of that, we only got reimbursed a little over $100 from insurance and we had Anthem PPO at the time. Not necessarily her fault but it added to the negative experience and expenses. My wife's labor ended up being 24hrs at home and 36hrs total which ended in a C-Section. She was little to no help and it was Sally that recommended we go to the hospital. Plug-in for Rancho Springs, amazing hospital and staff. It's not what we wanted but definitely what we needed and more. We didn't want a hospital birth but they have the best ward bar none. Only hospital me and my wife would go to for this. From our conversations with other people that used her in the past, I think she was once a great midwife but from our experience, I would highly discourage anyone from using her services. If you use her, you'll be playing roulette with you and your child's life.

Would not recommend Our son was born early September 2024…read moreand Anne was our midwife for the pregnancy. During our meetings we were constantly recommended to seek outside opinions from my OBGYN and medical facilities, causing us to spend thousands more during my pregnancy and birth on top of her fee for services ($6000). During my birth Anne and her assistants made the environment stressful when I expressed for my birth to be peaceful to my liking. Upon Anne's arrival she said that I was fully dilated at 6am. At 3pm Anne had checked me and told me that she had still felt some of my cervix (I WAS NOT FULLY DILATED). She had complained earlier in the day that her fingers were too short to check properly, so I'm not sure how she has been a midwife and her fingers be too short to check her clients. I was instructed to push while not being fully dilated. Anne appeared impatient and she didn't seem to know what to do to help me progress. After an hour and a half of pushing she recommended transfer to the hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital I was checked and was dilated to AN EIGHT. The hospital determined that my baby was too large to have naturally. During my pregnancy we brought up the size of my baby and Anne would discredit all the ultrasounds and weight estimates that we were given. I had my baby via c-section and was born at 11 pounds 1 ounce, he would never have been born safely naturally. After my hospital stay we returned home to a birth pool fully inflated and still containing the water from my labor, this was after I was told that everything would be cleaned up before our return. A warning to all, a contract is presented and must be signed that states once Anne shows up to your birth/labor there are NO REFUNDS of any sort. Ultimately I would not recommend Anne's services as a midwife. If you are looking for a midwife to trust as your expert and for a safe, comfortable birth, look elsewhere.

***I am new to Yelp, so pardon the double posting here, I initially posted under his name.*** I am so glad to have found Galbraith Chiropractic 3 yeas ago. I had gone to his office to pick up a supplement that my chiropractor was out of. I asked about services, office visits and what else was offered because it felt like the adjustments I'd been receiving at my other chiropractor's office had stopped working. I wasn't finding any relief and my anxiety and stomach issues were getting worse. Also, I had constant lower back pain and a shoulder that would fall out of socket at any given moment. I'd get an adjustment and it wouldn't even hold the rest of the afternoon. Anyway, I have been a patient of Dr. Murray's for 3 years now and as long as his door is open, I will be a patient of his. When I first went in, among other issues I had debilitating anxiety, back and hip pain and was starting to have digestive issues. I was terrified that I had damaged my body somehow and it was beyond repair, only I didn't really know what I had done. I was only 40 and it seemed like everything started falling apart. I met with Dr. Murray, did all the x-rays, personal inventories and nutritional analysis - it seemed extensive but how else was he going to know what is going on and be able to treat my specific issues if he didn't do a comprehensive assessment before the first adjustment? - and he sat and listened to me. My anxiety was in full force and being worried about everything falling apart didn't help, but he listened to me. He told me that he could help me and that it wouldn't change overnight, but it would gradually get better and it was going to be okay. For all that I felt was wrong with me, for someone to tell me that I was going to be okay was no small feat. When I first started getting adjusted, I had to go in about 2 or 3 times a week because the adjustments weren't holding. About 4 months later, it was once a week and fast forward to now (2 1/2 years after that), I go in as needed (about every 3 or 4 weeks - sometimes I go longer than that though sometimes because my schedule is pretty busy). Sometimes I don't need an adjustment, sometimes I do. I think the longest I've held an adjustment was 11 weeks. Anyway, my anxiety began to abate and I noticed that I didn't have the digestive issues as much. My shoulder wasn't falling out of it's socket anymore, and my lower back and hip pain was gone. It didn't happen overnight but it did happen gradually and slowly but surely. I'd say within a year, everything that I presented with when I went in initially was resolved. Aside from maintaining with the adjustments, I also go there for things you'd normally go to your regular doctor for - I've had bronchitis, strep throat, ear infection, sinus infection, hiatal hernia, bladder infection, kidney issues and a nasty spider bite that made my foot swell. I go in, tell Doc what is going on, he adjusts, muscle tests with supplements if need be, and I get better. I prefer going to Doc Murray because the 'prescriptions' are organic and it's not anything synthetic or toxic. And it works! Honestly, since I've been going, I don't get sick anymore. Maybe once a year (if that) but I can usually knock it out with the supplements I know to have worked for the same issue before (FYI - Congaplex for anything sinus is amazing. Everybody needs a bottle of that, Immuplex and Thymex for cold season). The office staff are great also. They greet you when you walk in, take the time to talk with you, for older patients or anyone needing assistance, they are very attentive. I've seen all ages receiving adjustments - 6 month old babies to 80 year olds, people that are mobile and people that move with assistance. They make sure everyone gets seen and adjusted, even when it's extra busy. They call to check up on you, they special order products for you, and are just genuinely compassionate, decent people. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Murray and his staff. I am truly grateful. I am restored and well today because of Dr. Murray Galbraith's help. read more

I have had headaches and back spasms for years and have had to just live with it. We decided to come here for my husband's dizziness and vertigo and it helped it tremendously. He was told by his doctor that there was nothing that could help. He was on his way to not being able to do much. He's 80. My headaches and spasms are virtually gone. It's a process but we both had noticeable relief after a couple of adjustments and as we've gone on the last 9 months it's so noticeable the difference in how we feel. I've learned so much about my spinal cord and how much it affects everything in your body. Even a small misalignment can pinch off blood flow and messaging. I had been in pain for over 9 months. 2 different doctors could not tell me what was wrong. Several appointments and X-rays later I was prescribed rest and pain pills. Dr Murray and his staff were pleasant and informative throughout the treatment process. I knew what to expect throughout treatment. Although I came in with limited mobility and docs degeneration, I am on the road to recovery. I am able to exercise and play with my kids pain free. It's been approximately 3 years that my wife has been a patient of Dr. Murray. What I have witnessed in that time frame is amazing. From the time I called to get information to booking my first appointment everything was amazing. I…read moreshowed up as scheduled and was immediately evaluated. I was given 2 options regarding x-rays and even though I could have done it through my insurance the process would have taken at least 3 weeks. Here they set me up with an appointment the same day and my films were put on disk so I had them for my next visit. Everything was reviewed in detail and I was provided certain therapies to do at home and was also provided the piece for neck stretching. Treatment is very relaxing and not overly aggressive. I went in with constant headaches and after the first treatment with neck stretching they were gone. Everyone in the office is very polite, friendly and professional and they make you feel welcome. I actually look forward to going to my appointments. This place is definitely top notch.
