I was very pleased at how clear the sand was, perhaps they are using some kind of equipment to get the rocks and wood off the beach because unlike other freshwater beaches I didn't have an obstacle course to get to the water. There's even swings and a playground for the two legged puppers. I came to add some books to the free little library. I was amazed at how clean and well kept the grounds were. It is a private club and requires a membership however membership dues and fees to have a boat slip are much cheaper than most places you will find in Buffalo. The TILC is not an exquisite and ritzy yaht club, it's very family oriented and is just a nice place to go relax. Friends and family of members are always welcome to come down. There is a huge kitchen and tons of seating in the boat house and also a huge wrap around deck perfect for parties and entertaining. There is a playground for children, a firepit, and even a mini beach. There is also a boat launch however is for members only. It's walking distance from the shores restaurant and very close to other establishments. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking to join a club!
