Awesome bar ! very big bar to sit at with plenty of tvs, definitely my go to . wings are very good and priced very well . the pizza bites are basically homemade mini panazorottis that are 10 times better . a lot of the food here is priced incredibly cheaper than any place around it . I recommend this place to everyone !

The service is consistently accommodating, with a team of incredibly friendly, witty, and funny staff. The atmosphere is relaxed yet professional, creating a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The main floor is designed as a pub, featuring cozy seating for four to the end of the building. But don't be fooled by the limited seating; they can easily accommodate a larger crowd. Upstairs, there are additional seats available for service, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their meal. If you have younger ones in diapers I do recommend changing prior to coming in, there are two restrooms but not large enough to accommodate a changing station, so plan ahead! There's parking in front but also a very large lot behind the restaurant). We were immediately seated and given menus to browse while we waited for our server. The menu, while smaller, still has many fun and interesting options so we had no problem deciding on our meals (& drinks). The Blackberry Smash and the Autumn Cow-Man were the cocktails we ordered and the Thai Chili Brussels, Cheesesteak Eggrolls were the apps and the Buffalo Wings and Grilled Chicken Sandwich were the entrees. ALL THE FOOD (& drinks) were AMAZING!!!! Flavors were popping! Portions were generous! The food truly lived up to all the hype! The only reason the review isn't 5 stars is because our server was seriously on delay ... it had nothing to do with being busy because we had clear sight of him the entire time ... he was just on "island time" in NJ lol! We didn't make a big deal out of it because we were in no rush and were really enjoying ourselves but if he would've been on his Ps and Qs this would've been a 5 star review. The good news is we will be back so, there's another chance (or chances) to make it 5 stars!

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

We decided to sit at the bar, which was half empty on a Saturday night. My husband ordered drinks and went to the restroom. The male bartender left three drinks on the bar (we were a party of four) so I simply asked if they were our drinks. The bartender gave me an attitude and said "I assume so". Nothing ruins a place for me faster than getting an attitude from an employee. I will say that the woman who was bartending was very friendly and polite, but the initial interaction was off putting. We ordered desserts. I love banana bread pudding, but the one on the menu had raisins. Just a quick note to anyone out there who is listening: nobody likes raisins. They're tolerable on oatmeal cookies, but that's about it. I decided to order their chocolate mousse cake with pecans instead. It was clear that the cake wasn't thawed all the way through, and it was hard to cut through. I ate a bite or two and had enough. Overall I was not impressed and probably won't be back here. So many good bars and restaurants in the area, and this one was disappointing.

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

It…read morewas only after the whole meal was over, and realizing that it was utterly awful that I felt directed to share my experience. My boyfriend and I sat in the bar area for a quick lunch on Friday. It was busy but not overly so. I got a drink that was decent. The service was also good but that's where the positives end. For a starter we tried the Hamachi Crudo. What came to the table was far from acceptable. Large hunks of tuna, some pieces with the white part of the skin still attached. It just looked botched. Bloodline and different sized pieces. You couldn't chew the white part so we had to cut it off. Then when we tried to eat it, it was full of pin bones. We picked out 4 pieces with bone. No real sauce on the plate. No flavor other than the chilis that were placed on top. One of the worst things I've ever been served. When our entrees came out first off, the French fries that we paid extra for were spare. My chicken avocado wrap tasted like nothing. It didn't have much chicken, I didn't notice any of the cheese or avocado ranch that was supposed to be on it. It was full of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. My BF said his turkey sandwich had no taste either and he wasn't sure it had what it said it should have on it. Very little turkey, undercooked, limp bacon and bread he said that was stale. Walking away we were just shocked. A bad course is one thing but every dish was just abysmal. You know it's bad when the people that were dining next to you grab you outside to see if your meal was as bad as theirs. I know, I should have shared by displeasure with staff but I'm so uncomfortable doing that. I don't need places to be perfect, I understand businesses have off days but this was a train off it's tracks kinda meal. I really hope Braddocks turns this around. But we will not be back.

We took a bite and it was absolutely disgusting. I had to force myself to swallow the piece I had. When we told the server that we were not going to eat it (the taste and consistency were AWFUL), we were told we were given the wrong appetizer. It was the crudo, which apparently was in the tuna family? Then they brought the right appetizer. I couldn't tell you if the tuna was okay because I couldn't even eat it after the other fish almost made me sick at the table. The avocado that came with the tuna was fresh but not seasoned and had no flavor. Both myself and my dinner partner had the same reaction to the crudo. We shared the short ribs and they were just blah. Too salty and dry. The potatoes were just not good. A picture of the short ribs are below. Funny thing is we stopped coming here because we had a bad meal but lots of posts lately had food that looked good. Way too expensive for the food to be that bad. Maybe the sandwiches are better.

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!
