They saved my beautiful Catahoula-American Staffy mix, Gabby, a couple of times now. Dr. Owen is a bada** surgeon! She was able to remove both adrenal glands and the cancerous tumors attached to them, with zero damage to kidneys and without touching the main artery that is close by. She also removed a sarcoma tumor in her foot that was wrapped around a tendon, with no loss of foot/leg. And Dr. Culver has been wonderful with Gabby after the adrenalectomy, managing her Addison's disease. And fir what they do, it is very affordable, in my opinion. It was a Saturday and we were frantically looking for a vet clinic to help, that was open, and chose WellHaven. We ended up having to put her to rest after 16 1/2 years with our Doxie. I cannot adequately express how wonderful, and patient, both the vet and the tech were. They even went above and beyond in helping make arrangements to get her home to us after her cremation. Not good that he missed an open one inch wound a few inches to the side of the larger wound. He said he checked her thoroughly. The ensuing infection required reopening the larger wound as well to clean that out again and then antibiotics and then stitching both wounds shut. Wish they had done better, my trust in vet "hospitals" is certainly diminished to a low level, at least this one.

At All west, they were understanding of our bad experience and they take things at the dogs pace. I appreciate that they are very upfront and clear about pricing and services. The technicians are patient and helpful, the vet has been amazing...and probably more patient with me! I've been really nervous about getting care for my dog fearing that the veterinarian would be always a terrible experience. They make it positive and we don't avoid it any more! All I wanted was the rabies vaccine and when I looked at my pups paperwork they gave her six total! The vet tech did not ask my permission for any of the five extra ones! She was too busy trying to sell me one of the pet plans. I was so frustrated with the lack of information and all these vaccines she was preparing I wanted to walk out. Over a hundred bucks later and 5 extra charges I am quite frustrated. While the Vet was giving my pup one of the vaccinations she clearly missed when my pup jumped and I watched most of it fly in the air. Not professional at all. Very unorganized.
