Pedicures for me and my daughter waaaay over due. Nice place, kind of has a production feel when you 1st walk in. Lots of stations for Manicures and Pedicures. The technicians are friendly and do a good job. I was somewhat satisfied with the pedicure, could have done a bit better on removing the dry skin on the heels, my daughter had a better technician that was more thorough. Nice paint job on the toes though. Tha k you.
Dropped off my pet for a grooming so had time to kill and treat myself to a pedicure. Checked Yelp for salon in the area close by and ended up here. Reviews said walk-ins welcome so perfect. Place was busy with most seats taken and ladies waiting. Was asked if I was a walk-in and I said yes then was instructed to sit at an empty manicure station. Less than ten minutes I was ushered to a pedi station. The tech didn't greet me or give her name just indicating to sit. I was given a card to choose my service, I chose one up from basic as it offered a leg massage, clay mask and hot towels for $10 more making it $49. All the 12 pedi chairs were occupied so it was busy today. They have a lot of male techs so I was glad mine was female as I'm more comfortable with them. After soaking a few minutes in lukewarm water my tech started to work on my feet. She was using a sander as my previous pedicure was gel polish. I jerked a couple times as it didn't feel good and she finished with a polish remover. She told me "it will hurt a little" as I had a lot of calluses since it had been awhile. She never used eye contact or made pleasant conversation so I looked at my phone. She asked what color I wanted and I said "red" then asked if I could pick. She said she'll get the colors in a minute then got a bucket with color chips. I was halfway through looking and another tech came and taking the bucket said " you done?" My tech said something to her but I said it was ok and kept the color chip I wanted. I wasn't asked if I wanted gel but that's what I got as I noticed when she put the light on my feet. Additional cost wasn't mentioned but when I paid it was $20 more. The massage was rushed and done with little enthusiasm. Geez act like you enjoy taking care of your customers even if you don't! My experience wasn't relaxing but my nails looked good. Doubtful I'll go back here, kinda felt like cattle the way everyone was run through here!
This is a great place for nail services in Spanish Springs area. I always get different people and everyone is great! They're exceptionally kind and patient with my daughter who's on the autism spectrum. She got her first pedicure/manicure here and it was a great experience. It's clean. Nice chairs to sit in for pedicures.
So I got my nails done today chose purple something different for me. Usually I do red or cats eye. They were super busy as always so I had a little bit of a wait but I didn't mind. I didn't have any big plans. Because it's a pretty easy day for me on Sunday. I was greeted when I first came in. They always greet me by my name which I love that they know who I am. When it was my turn William came up and introduced himself and said hey just come on over to my table asked what color I wanted assessed my hands to see what I needed and asked lots of qualifying questions as to if I wanted my nails shorter if I wanted them round or square. He was extremely gentle with my hands when I told him I'd hurt middle finger last night by jamming it. So he was extra careful. He did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend him cause he's very meticulous in doing a great job. The place was very clean. The service is always the best. I will ask for him personally next time if he's available because I'm sure many people lineup to get his service.
I don't often treat myself to nail services, so I had been looking forward to this pedicure for weeks--it was supposed to be a small but meaningful way to recharge. I chose their highest-level pedicure, which included paraffin and hot stone massage. While the hot stones were nice, the foot massage itself was minimal, which was disappointing, but I decided to just relax and enjoy what I could. From a distance, things seemed fine. But when I got home and took a closer look, I was really let down. The polish is uneven and lumpy, there's polish on the skin around my nails, and the overall finish looks rushed and messy. Yes, my feet look better than they did before, but for the price I paid--and the tip I left--I expected far more attention to detail and quality. Maybe I'm being too picky, but this wasn't cheap, and it definitely didn't feel like a luxury experience. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll be returning.
I had an appointment for a pedicure but I got there very early and they took me without fuss. The salon is clean and everyone greeted me upon entering. The chairs they have for pedicures are huge and they have a lot of features. The massage features are pretty standard but felt great. The chairs seem to have more movement and flexibility than typical pedicure chairs so they can cater to a lot of different shapes and sizes. They also have lights on them that can be controlled by the staff and a leg rest so they can access your heels without you having to hold up your leg. The salon has a large selection of gel and dip colors. I appreciate that you can book online and that the prices are transparent upfront. The pedi quality itself was better than others I have found in Reno/Sparks and she wasn't afraid to get after my callouses and ingrowns. I was not a fan of the shape she selected for my toes but I also didn't speak up because my toenails are so short. I'll definitely be back to give them another shot!
Found my new nail spot! I came in as a walk in for a mani- pedi and was immediately sat at a pedi station. The chairs are comfortable and newer. I had the great luck of getting Sandy as my tech. She listened to what I wanted, for both mani and pedi and went immediately to work. She flew through the pedi with precision, but still gave a great massage. I almost fell asleep it was so relaxing. Next to the mani. It was my first time trying powder dip and I have to say I'm a fan. I wanted an added decal of a black rose, but she didn't have one. So she drew it on with total artist flair. Both mani and pedi together only took an hour which is epic for me. I hate sitting forever. But it never felt rushed. Sandy is just an extremely talented nail artist. Thank you for a wonderful experience! I will DEF be back.
FANTASTIC first experience!! I was lucky enough to sit right next to the tv where they totally emerge you in the tropical oasis that is playing on the big screen! So relaxing! It's sparkly, it's shimmery, it's elegant and they have a million choices of color it felt like and that was wonderful!! Truly the best massage chair I've ever sat in AND they have a heated seat option!!!! OMG the best feeling!! The foot massage was so delicate and soothing! Thank you very much for an extremely awesome first impression! See you in a few weeks!
Came in with my friend to get our nails done before her bachelorette. We booked appointments! And when we came in there were no chairs available. What's the point of making an appointment. Eventually one chair opened up, and I went to get a simple gel mani. The man who did my nails was quick. I felt too quick? They seemed rush. Eventually a pedicure chair opened so my friend took that one. By then my mani was done so I sat with her by her chair. I instantly noticed bubbling and peeling on my brand new painted thumbnail. I brought it up with the man and he acted as if he couldn't see the problem.. eventually he agreed and fixed the nail. The polish lasted less than a week! In less than a week it had all peeled off. I do not work a manual job. I work an office job at a computer. I have no idea why the paint would just peel off. In all the times I have gotten a gel manicure, the polish has never just peeled off. In a week! It was a waste of $60
I was a walk in and was seen and seated right away. Very friendly staff! Everything was clean and the inside was very beautiful. I wanted to get my gel x French tip nails taken off and then a manicure and to get the French tip gel taken off my toes and just a pedicure with regular polish. I didn't get any polish on my fingers except clear since my nails were very thin. I got the basic package of manicure and pedicure. My total was $91, which seems a bit expensive but overall it was a good experience and a beautiful salon.
Pedicure gone bad! I just got home after going to get my toes done and my feet are crispy. She used an electric scrubber to get the bottom of my feet which did not do the job. At the end she did not put any oil or lotion on my feet. My feet are more messed up then they were when i first walked into the place. Feels like the desert is on my feet

I don't live in this area of town, but it was convenient for some errands I was running. I was so pleasantly surprised to be welcomed in without an appointment. Most nail places seem irritated when you don't have an appointment but I was greeted right upon entering and welcomed with kindness to choose a color and immediately sit at a station. The salon was nice, organized, and clean. I used the restroom which was also clean and appreciated. I opted for a gel manicure and I came in with gel that needed to be removed. They properly soaked them and removed the old gel. The tech was gentle and very thorough. I often notice at some salons that they notice little mistakes and rush through to get you done. Not here! The gal that did my mani paid great attention to detail and touched up nicely. I was so happy with the service and her work. I also noticed in the detail of the other techs that they were focused and wanted a good result rather than to just pump through clientele. Every was kind and chatty enough with the person they were serving. My service was $45 and well worth it. I'd definitely come back if I happen upon this area next time I need a mani/pedi. read more
Ok so the wife was looking for a new nail place go since we just moved here. The first one she went to few weeks ago was not good. I found this place and we walked in and took us right away. The staff is friendly and nice. I got a pedicure and the wife got acrylic nails. They did a great job my feet feel so much better. We will definitely come back to this place. If you're looking for a nail salon this is the place to go!! Go get some self care it's worth it! read more

Technician purposely set my nails up for disaster. She nipped the corners in on my toes and fingernails when I specifically asked her NOT to. Over trimming my cuticles to pain when I said light cuticle only. Plus cutting me. This was in December and nails still haven't recovered! She also did a few things. When I initially got there this was a older 2 ladies behind me. I guess they assumed we were together so they didn't address them so I interjected and communicated( because they were looking confused as just sit and wait in waiting area or pedi chairs) and said they were looking for pedis. They said to go to the back which I communicated to them while I sat down. I think they thought I was possibly an employee sine I was only person to acknowledge any of their questions. I explained I'm a patron too (but since I work vip hospitality I was naturally inclined to help them)- one lady was not very mobile ( with a Walker) and she was about to sit in a chair on wheels so I asked my technician if someone could help make sure she didn't fall. She just kinda scoffed at me and said she was fine. So I jumped up and helped her ( Since she wasn't started on my nails.) and I think that pissed her off. Once she did get started she said something in a snide voice and laugh in her language and looked at me and then to other technicians who kinda half heartedly but almost embarrassedly laughed a tiny bit also while glancing at me. I know all the technicians there casually if not well but their one- Christina- Made me more uncomfortable then I had ever been even at other nail salons. She tugged at my hand and looked at me irritating after making me bleed twice on my cuticles because I pulled back in pain. By the time I left I was boiling. To pay top dollar for a service that should a fun luxury was an outrage. I did call and let management know how absolutely unsatisfactory my service was and the manager/phone acknowledged it and said they would discount my next service. But it's left such a bad experience I'm not sure I'll return. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. This is the worst pedicure I've ever had in my life and it cost 38 freaking dollars. I was in the chair for maybe 20 minutes. The man who did my pedicure cut my nails, then went straight to painting them. I've had plenty of pedicures and I've NEVER had to tell someone to file and shape my nails. That's STANDARD! The photo shows their own description of what I paid for and yet I didn't get filing (until I asked), cuticle trimming, buffing, or massage. Do not come here! I'm serious, save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I went in to get what's in the first photo, I explained to him exactly like the photo. Same size, length, shape, color. I've gotten this done multiple times. It's my go to. When he applied the fake nails three of them were crooked. That's fine we can shape it out, I told myself. He proceeded to cut them. He said "Long?" I said "No short, like the photo." Which he replied with " we'll do long it'll look prettier, we can make it shorter later if you don't like it." I'm naive for not realizing he was doing it long to charge me for long nails, and I thought with coffin nails they usually do get shorter after the filling. So I stayed positive. Yes I've gotten my nails done before so it's not my first rodeo. So when I started seeing him put the amount of acrylic on my nails I panicked. He then reassured me that he was going to file them down to look better and not to worry. (This is why I have trust issues) he started to filling them down with the nail file and not the drill which that would've been a lot faster. I thought to myself. He didn't even check the sizes of the nail to make sure they were all somewhat the same. I had to do that on my own. I told him multiple times to either file them down more, fix one that was crooked or if it was to long etc. At that point I had decided to get the v cut French tips to make it look somewhat better, since they'll be long so I showed him the photos of the nails of how I wanted it. I've gotten those nails before and it's never taken that long. I arrived at 6:15-20 and left there at 8pm. I got charged $92 for this... I love this place, don't get me wrong, I've been here before but respectfully I wouldn't recommend the younger man who works there. He took too long and didn't know what he was doing. So it seemed. Really have tried to like this place, but on multiple occasions am treated like crap. Not sure if it's because I come in in my scrubs and no makeup, don't spend $100 on my nails each time or what. Made an appointment for today to get gel polish removed, 4pm with a certain employee (not that I care about a certain employee, rather it was booked for the timing). Get there at 3:45pm and seat myself, say that I have a 4pm appointment for gel removal when asked. More people keep filing in, mainly walk-ins, as they say when asked. At 4:10, I am asked to take a seat at a nail station. Then within two minutes, I am told I need to move to a pedicure chair station. A lady comes over to start filing my nails and a walk-in person is shown to the nail station I was just at. I asked the employee helping me "does it not matter if you have an actual appointment, or with a certain person? Shouldn't I be allowed to be at a nail station before a walk-in person?" I basically get smiled at and she sets to work, making me awkwardly having to reach across myself to get both hands done. When finished, I am shown to the front to pay and told "sorry about that." I said "I think it's quite poor that your customers with appointments are disregarded, even if their service for the day isn't as much cost as a full gel set or whatever else. I made an appointment for a set service with a set person." I'm told "sorry again" to which I reply "I guess I might have to find another nail salon if this is how you treat return customers" and grabbed my items and left. read more

I have tried a lot of nail places in Reno and this is my favorite. Their prices are exactly as advertised. Every staff member is extremely friendly and great at their job. They have e the best massage chairs for pedicures. The atmosphere is clean and gives a calming vibe. They were very busy on Saturday but still had me sit down and got someone to me with in 20 minutes for a gel pedicure and manicure and then it only took about an hour for both. I go here every chance I get and don't plan on changing. read more

What a disappointment. I have been a customer of this salon for six years; since the day it opened. All I can say is it has REALLY gone downhill. I scheduled using the Vagaro app specifically with an artist my friend recommended to me who did a French pedicure with a beautiful flower on her big toes. When I arrived - on time - they asked if they could switch the technician with another person because a couple - man and woman - had dropped in and the man did not want a man giving him a pedicure. I asked if I could still get the artwork done by Sarah Le and was assured I would get a design of my choosing. So I ended up with a you g man, which I don't mind, except he did the design and it turned out awful. This pedicure cost me more than $80 and looks nothing like what I asked for. Not worth it. Needless to say I will not be returning and am angry I even paid full price for this. I am not one to complain, however when I am spending that much money I expect much better service. I'm pissed that a walk-in trumped my scheduled appointment just because he's a man! I specifically scheduled weeks in advance with Sarah Le. Totally bad business. This not okay. read more

I drove 20 minutes across town to get my nails done, and I can say, it was worth it! Here's the back story... unfortunately, I have yet to find my go-to nail salon in Reno. I've tried a few in my neighborhood and have been disappointed with the experiences and results. I don't get pedicures as often as I used to. But, since I have a special event coming up, I wanted to try again. Galleria Nails has been in my bookmarks for a while now because of the high reviews. I'm glad to say that I looked up their website and found one time today that worked for me. Making an appointment online was super easy, and I received a confirmation text message in about 30 minutes. I prefer making online appointments as opposed to calling or even walking in. So I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment time and they were able to put me in a pedicure chair right away. Today the manicure chairs were full. My nail tech was Sara, and she did a careful and neat job! She didn't talk very much, which is how I like it. But she did ask multiple times if the water was the right temperature or the pressure of callous remover was okay. I chose a spa, or basic, pedicure with regular polish. She brought color swatches for me to look at, and the polish was the same as the swatch I chose. She gave a nice foot massage! I had brought a book to read but couldn't help watching Grown Ups (with Adam Sandler and co) on the TV instead! Overall, I was pretty happy with the experience and may try them again soon! read more

Solid hit or miss every time. I have been trying pedicures here for years, and it's often consistently decent. Recently, I had an amazing experience with a young female nail tech. I had a male tech last time for my toes and fingers and he was pleasant and cleaned up my nail beds and cuticles prior to adding tips on my hands for vacation nails. He did a great job that day. Today, however, the same male tech ignored me throughout my appointment, was rude when I said I wanted my nails very short for returning to work, and didn't prep my nail beds at all. He cut my skin 4 times throughout my appointment, and my right hand nails are all significantly longer than my left hand. The fact that my nails look at least a week grown out prior to leaving the parking lot is annoying for a $50 appointment prior to tip. I'll be returning for pedicures, but not for manicures. read more

I always have some design I want when I go to a nail salon. Today I think I outdid myself and had the most difficult design I ever wanted. The poor girl who did my nails did a beautiful job. It took a couple of hours but they came out gorgeous and exactly what I asked for. My daughter got a Christmas set as well and they look super cute on her. Very happy with my services! read more
