These are true craftsmen with great attention to detail and a love for art. They're especially good with unusual requests (i.e. four matte windows oriented just-so, or protecting against bathroom humidity), but don't underestimate the value in having a professional do the seemingly-simple framing tasks as well. Great place. I've taken 2 Springsteen photos here to get framed. I'm a huge Springsteen fan so I would only go somewhere where I am comfortable that my items will be taken care of and done properly. The owner was incredibly hospitable and picked out the best frame making the whole process extremely seamless. My first time getting something framed. They pressured me into a sale and said they could only do something basic. They would not work with me to something slightly different around the same price. Then, the price they quoted me was twice the price as the Decor Art Gallery one block up. The actual location is cramped, crowded, and dusty--nothing like the pictures on yelp. It was a horrible experience. I decided to go with Decor Art Gallery and cancel my order here. It was the best decision. Decor Art Gallery is SOOOOO much better. The prices are reasonable (yes, Galleria on Third wanted $200 for a $100 frame) and the service was amazing. They have a no pressure selling technique. Seriously, walk the extra block. read more

Me and my husband came here two years ago for the first time and were extremely satisfied with the frame work and the customer service. We decided to come back after saving up money for more art work..we just brought in a Miro and felt completely comfortable leaving it in the hands of Shadin. He takes a lot of pride in his work and is very detail oriented. In fact, the gallery we bought the art work from had asked us several times to frame the art with them to a good price. We politely told them we have a person who is always helping us, yes it would have been convenient to get the framing done right there and then, but we would rather make the long drive into the Galleria on Third and having the art work done to what we consider perfection. I highly recommend you use this shop to have your most precious pictures and photos framed. I have had several items done by Shadeen, the owner. He is very helpful in choosing the appropriate frame and mat for each piece, and goes over the top in making sure it comes out spectacularly, even adding if it means adding to the initial order at his own expense. I had an autographed sports jersey framed in a shadow box, and the little touches he added beyond what we had discussed transformed it into a timeless piece. He even personally delivered it to my apartment when he learned I was out of town when it was finished. I love this guy! Please make sure you go to the right shop, on 3rd Ave in Murray Hill. There is another shop that recently opened on the upper East Side who is using his name "Galleria on Third" but I have never been there. read more
