I would first like to state that I am the most ideal candidate you could probably have for this procedure. I was 40 at the time, workout 4x a week with weights, walk 2-3 days a week, eat a healthy diet, stay on top of my hydration, do lymphatic drainage techniques regularly, etc. .... so a fairly fit and healthy individual with stubborn problem areas which is what Airsculpt is supposed to be for. My main issue was loose under arm skin that came from genetics, not weight loss as I have never been overweight and some typical excess fat women carry there. After my procedure I saw about 30% improvement which in my opinion was definitely not enough considering how good of a candidate I am and how much the procedure cost (about 10K). I went back and expressed my disappointment and that I expected a revision to be done. Dr.Hanz was not my surgeon for the first procedure but he agreed to be my surgeon for the revision. We had talked and agreed on that it was mostly the skin that was the issue so that the revision didn't necessarily need much more fat taken out, maybe a little, but that the main focus should be skin tightening. The revision surgery day came in June 2025 and Dr. Hanz and I talked one more time right before surgery about how it was the Skin that needed more addressing. Then what did he do? He took out even more fat than the first surgery! When I came out of surgery and the nurse told me that, my first thought was, "why would he take even more fat if loose skin was the issue? Wouldn't that just cause even more loose skin?!" But I decided to wait and see how the results turned out. Well here it is August 2026 and guess what? I was exactly right! Not only did it cause the loose skin to be more obvious but the over correction caused deformities in my arms. I'm so embarrassed about my arms now and to make it worse, my aesthetic is how I make my living. I understand that all surgeries can come with complications including aesthetic ones but in my opinion, this could've been mostly avoidable had the first surgery been done correctly and/or the second surgery actually been what we talked about. I expected so much more especially for that price tag. I am now having to look into a mini brachioplasty to fix the issue. Definitely not worth it for what it cost both financially and emotionally now that my arms have deformities and embarrassing loose skin. The first photo of my arm straight looks like fat hanging but it's mostly skin. The second photo with my arm bent and my skin tighter shows you the deformity all along the inside of my arm.

I became unhappy and dissatisfied with how much Botox/dysport/xeomin I was having to purchase and how little they were lasting, so I decided to cancel my membership. I was also moving, so it was no longer a convenient location for me. When I notified VIO Medspa of my wish to cancel, they said I could not do it over the phone or online. They said I have to physically come into the office to cancel. That's obviously intentional. The harder you make it to cancel, the less likely someone will. I asked them if they could make an exception since I was moving and traveling and had no time to physically come into the office, and they said they couldn't accommodate me. Great. So, I take time off work to come over to the office during business hours to cancel. I should have asked for a physical copy of my signed termination, but they said it would be emailed to me. As you can probably guess, that never happened. They also assured me in person that I would never be charged again. Something that DID happen. I was going to call my credit card company and put a block on VIO Medspa just in case they did charge me again, but I was dumb and trusted what they told me. Forward to the following month. I wake up on a Saturday notification at 6 am from my credit card company showing that VIO Medspa had charged me another $99! I call and leave a message, which no one ever return. I call again, and the woman tells me that whoever I dealt with NEVER canceled the membership. The same membership they demanded I come in person to cancel. She then canceled it and said I'd be refunded within 7 days. Well, it's now day 10, and I've never been refunded. I called on day 7 and spoke with someone who said the manager wasn't in, so there was nothing she could do! She assured me a manager would call me, but of course she never did. I am now having to dispute this charge and put a block on this company to ensure they finally stop charging me for a membership I canceled months ago. It truly is a disgrace. When you're a member, they're so nice. When you're not, they don't give a damn. Such a bad business model. This experience ensures I'll never give them a second chance.
