Since I'm a converted "long-hair" I was long accustomed to only getting a trim once a year, so the idea of a regular haircut was novel to me. I'm enjoying the vibe at an old-fashioned barbershop! I've been going to Mark for a long time, and every time I have been happy with my haircut. It's a nice shop with a TV which is playing the game if there's one on. He's got magazines to read if you're waiting. There are boxing posters on the wall. You can park on the street out front with no problem. The wife, kid, and I were happy with the hair cut. I got my hair cut there a week later, and Mark (owner) cut it exactly how I wanted it and had described it to him. I read about the Gallery Barbershop on Yelp. I've been looking for a good barber for years and finally, I think I've found the best thus far. This shop is small (only two chairs) but the haircuts given here are by far better than what one might get at those high priced hair salons or barbershops. The barber in this shop is a professional who takes a great deal of pride in his work. He will not rush through a haircut but he'll do his best to have you leave a happy customer. This was my first time at this shop. There were 4 customers waiting for haircuts. When I saw the barber cutting hair, I decided that the wait was worthwhile. I knew that I'd get a good hair cut here. I was not disappointed at all. In fact, I was elated that this barber did exactly what I had asked. The pricing at this shop is reasonable and the results excellent.
