I had a great time last night out with my sisters. It's been a while since I've been here but a good time was truly had. There's a new proprietor and new bartenders. Moe is still there but not alllll night. She closed her shift around 9. Seems like a new party crowd mixed the the old timers... a DJ showed up and so did security and a doorman that charged admission after 9 or 10. I loved the upgrades to the back patio area. read more

It's almost been a month since I've been married so this review is long overdue. My husband and I got married on Thursday in Vallejo, and our wedding had to end at 9 pm due to city restrictions. We all wanted to continue the party and us not being from the area, didn't know where to go. Thankfully, one of our friends had done some research on Yelp and suggested that we go to this spot...AND it was the best decision ever! We took an Uber (drink responsibly friends) and was dropped off at front where the parking lot was. Not going to lie, it looked a bit sketch, but hey, we were with a large group and my friend does BJJ so I was feeling okay about it. We step foot inside and it was incredibly spacious. Full on bar, pool table, highboys, and a barber chair in the back. Come to find out this is a barbershop x bar and what an excellent combo. Chop it up (hair and convo) while enjoying a drink. That's pure genius. What I especially love about this place is the hospitality. Scratch the fact that I got married and the perks that come with it, but everyone was so incredibly nice. A genuine nice. Also, Mo is by far the sweetest bartender! It's evident how much she loves her job, how much she cares for the people and the community. I just left. Atmospheres great. People seemed fun. No service at all. Bartenders are more busy drinking than serving. And to top it off, the lady with no hair served me a literal watered down shot. She filled the bottle up with water to make it look like there was still alcohol in there and thought the people wouldnt notice. Im guessing they pocket the extra cash. Disgraceful. First I want to commend young black business owners. Unfortunately, the bartender is where I lost my desire to ever come again. He served a couple ahead of us and I brought it to his attention. His response was "I'll be there as soon as possible" and he is sure that he "see's me before I see him." That one experience and his response was enough for me. First time coming here on Friday night, this place is fairly new used to be Terrible Teri's. The place is real nice, Has 2 small private rooms (parties, karaoke), pool area, reserved couches seating, nice back area with seating. DJ plays cool music. Some drinks are made a bit stronger than others. Serves appetizers (nachos, lumpia, etc) pretty cheap too. nuts and pretzels. Pretty nice place for Vallejo, although the security guards ....are a bit overly protective. You kinda have that feel like... you have to watch what your doing, don't get TOO drunk if you know what i mean. You WILL get kicked out, maybe for good! read more

I went here last night b/c a friend of mine and some of his friends celebrated their birthday's here. I had never been before but I had been wanting to check it out for a while and I was so disappointed. I wont comment on the crowd because hopefully that wasn't the usual demographic (but if it is... that's enough for me to pass all together) but the service was horrible. The doorman was cool no complaints there. I wasn't tripping off of the $5 cover charge b/c I expected it but what got me were the bartenders. WTF. I walked in and my homebody who was celebrating his bday said he hadn't been able to get a drink at all and he'd already been there an hour trying. They just kept ignoring him. They ignored me first but after about 10 min I was able to grab the attn of one of the ladies and order my drink. I wasn't to bothered about waiting 10 min but when a girl I was with tried to order her drink it was about a 20/25 min wait finally I went over and got the attn of somebody and ordered for her. Later on in the evening we heard a lot of people comment about how the bartenders were ignoring them. Later on when we tried to get drinks again it was the same thing. I was done drinking and spending money in this establishment but people I was with continued to get attitudes and bad service, one guy actually got into it with the bartenders about the service. He ordered patron shots and she wouldn't give him a lime or let him get it himself. At that point I was ready to go. WE left and just went to Dunphys Tavern where service is great and drinks are strong. Other people must have felt the same about H Lounge b/c when we walked into DT it was packed with people we had seen at H Lounge earlier in the evening. I'll pretty much stick with Dunphys if I end up at a Vallejo Bar, which is rare. I liked the outside portion of H Lounge it was nice that smokers could go out there and chill. The music was cool too so I'll give a star for that. read more

Prices seemed reasonable. 01/12/13, there was a live band -'Urban Bushman';, who were outrageously good, they are a band to experience Parking on Benecia Road was easy, Venue has several spaces off street as well. There is a Food Truck with a small patio in front. Inside was clean, and spacious. There is a Lounge Seating area, and BAr height Round 30" Tables, as well as the seats at the Bar. I'm happy to finally have a nice classy spot to chill at in Vallejo. Inside is remodeled with a modern decor. They have a large open area in the back if you prefer to kick it outside. There are also a couple of private rooms. Most staff seem friendly. The owners are cool folks! I've been here for many occasions from birthday parties, record releases or just because, and have enjoyed myself every time. I am taking away one star because of the location. Parking is pretty limited and on a busy night I can find myself parking down the street which isn't in the safest area. read more

This place is seriouly a hidden gem in Vallejo. STAFF: Jenn is a party planner and helped me w/all kinds of ideas for my party. She's very efficient and just hands down awesome. All the staff are helpful and nice. DJs are friendly and always on point. Head of security is a bit of a trip but I guess that's his job right? Security takes their job seriously so there's never been any kinds of incidents while I was there. VENUE: Beautiful! Not huge but there's a lot there to do and it's done very well. Room where there needs to be lights where you need it ect. You can have lots of different types of events there. PRICING: Drinks are average club prices. They have a very affordable bottle service and a great rate on the VIP room. I spent under $200 for bottles, karaoke, pool and VIP ... SAY WHAT????? Loved it! That coco, coffee, chocolate whatever her name is will ignore you and won't serve you drinks. She is so rude. People go out to have innocent fun with no drama and the crazy part is that she takes the drama wherever she goes. It's not even her bar. She's just employed there making her own rules. I wish the owner would get this under control. We can't even enjoy karaoke because she tells the DJ to delete our names on the sign up list. How can a business be successful when you employ someone who drives away business? Can we live and can we spend our money to have a good time?! My husband and I spent a relaxed and pleasant Sunday night at the H Lounge. It was a special Jazz Music evening sponsored by Vallejo's community radio station, Ozcat Radio 89.5 FM. The lounge is under new ownership and has been open 7 weeks. It is very comfortable inside, freshly remodeled and the owners were very nice. It was a treat to get some really good BBQ which was set up on the patio out back. I had a yummy tri tip sandwich and he had ribs, with potato salad. There was even a live musician playing for the evening named Ron. S. L. Matthews. He was really talented and we enjoyed him a lot. Very nice experience all the way around. I would like to thank Deloris and Jen for making my birthday go on without a hitch, they were very attentive to my needs and my guest. When: Saturday, March 17 2012 This is my first time going to a "lounge" in Vallejo, so I didn't have any major expectations being I party in SF or LA. Yea the neighborhood and patrons are kinda sketchy, but the DJ was playing some really good hiphop/reggae, the bartenders were nice, the drinks were cheap, the bathrooms were clean.... However, for some reason the doorman/bouncer did not let my brother in because he was wearing a hoodie. But not just any hoodie, it was a Ben Sherman hoodie. I was already in the club and I kid you not that there were much more ghetto outfits than what my brother was wearing. There was a guy in Air Jordan sweats, another guy in one of those long beenies, etc.... Also, they lied to my brother that there was no ATM machine, when there really was one inside the club.. the doorman was being SHADY!! I'm all about supporting local establishments but if you have employees, specifically the doorman who was collecting cover, trying to do some shady stuff, then how am I support to that? I might give this place one more chance, but hopefully management reads this review and has a talk with their employees to prevent this from happening again. read more
