I wasn't going to give a review until I really noticed my nails when I got home from the nail salon yesterday. I'm very unsatisfied with what I got, I showed the picture of what I wanted and my artist kept suggesting otherwise. I will show a picture of what I wanted and what I got, with the French tip I said I wanted it rounder and long on the ends and she seemed a bit rude when I told her. When she fixed it and it was a little better and I just stuck with it. When I got home I noticed a ton of bubbles in my acrylic, the French tip was uneven and my cuticle was bleeding from her cutting me with the drill. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this place, I was pretty sad because the pictures on google was really nice and this was for my engagement shoot. read more

I have been going here for two months, with a co worker and my mom. I enjoyed my first visit. Now everytime I get my nails done, they don't even paint your nail to the cuticle. You guys have a beautiful spa, don't get me wrong. But your service isn't good. You're taking peoples money. Not only that if the bills to high for you, you make people get money from the ATM so it's under the table. I have gone over 5 times and even took my whole family. You guys don't care about customers, you just care about the run for the money and it shows an incredible amount. You've now lost three customers who have tipped $20 each person even when we walked out not pleased..... I tried. But your wasting my money so I come back every two weeks instead of my regular 3. Another piece of advice is I would get a better selection of colors for your nails, and I would get a filter for your drinks because they're extremely horrific. Best of luck to you. read more

On Friday at 6 I had a organic pedicure, so I could have pretty feet for my baby shower that was the next morning. My service was great, and I like to come in at least once a month for it since I'm pregnant I can't reach my feet well. At the end of the service the employee put my socks on for me. I got home, and my toe polish was completely messed up from my socks. I called the next morning, and spoke with the same lady who was working the front desk Friday night. She told me she remembered me, and she promised me a free service of the gallery pedicure. I told her I would come in Sunday at 1pm for the appointment. When I came in Sunday the employee was different at the front, and she told me she doesn't know why someone would promise me the free service, but that she could repaint my nails. So I am just sitting here waiting.... for 40 minutes! I got here at 12:50, and I am still sitting here waiting at 1:30 even though I had scheduled an appointment for 1. And I'm not even getting my free pedicure that was promised..... The free pedicure would have been a great gesture since I had my baby shower the next morning after the mistake, and I had to attend it in my dress & heels with messed up toe polish. I love coming to this place because they are the only place that I know of that offers complimentary beverages, and that's enough for me to choose them over any other salon! After this experience I may not be returning...... Still sitting here waiting...... Edit: employee finally came to do my nails. She painted one foot, and walked off for like 10 minutes, and returned to paint the other foot. When she finished painting she left me sitting for 20 minutes just waiting!!! I would probably have waited a lot longer had I not just got up and left. I arrived at 12:50, and I got out of there at 2:30.... for just a polish change.... that I originally had set an appointment for. I was a paying customer, but when it came time to fix their mistake they treated me terrible. They also kept trying to place the blame on me for putting my socks on after my original service!!! I definitely did not because I usually like to drive home in the flip flops they give you with my car heater blowing on my feet. I think the lady who did put my socks on was just trying to be helpful because I am pregnant. Unfortunately this has resulted in me losing my favorite nail salon! read more

This literally damages your real nails, she was not gentle either and several times during this I was saying ow or having to pull my hand away, I've gotten my nails and toes done here before as well and they left nail polish on my toes and my nails did not look good the last time I was here, how are you going to charge me $15 to torture someone taking their nails off and not even be gentle? I also came here with my sister one time. They make you fill out a paper and write down what you want. She put down the ombré white and pink. The lady who sits in the back row had her and started doing the nails all pink. When told by my sister that she was doing the ombré, she was met with hostility. Said "you should have told me that". When I lived in the area this was my go to place. I loved them it was nice you got a free drink (part of the package) the peddi was always perfect. Well this time it wasnt wonderful. We did a walk in and they had a few people in chairs but a lot of staff with no one. So it was perfect timing thinking we would get extra love so we thought lol. So when you walk in they hand you a piece of paper and you get to mark everything you want. The first thing you pick is your beverage. I picked a diet coke I didnt feel like champagne I needed a peddi my polish was yucky and my nails needed to be reshaped. I picked the lavender water and coconut massage. Did I get what I picked? No my water was blue SOOOO I got the coconut water and whatever my daughter picked for massage lol. I didnt get my drink. At first I was like whatever but noticed everyone around me and my kid had drinks and someone even got a refill so I was like k thanks. I told my lady I like my nails short and round and that I might be getting an ingrown she just kind of looked at me. Didn't clip my nails at all the way I asked. The polish looks like I have had it on for months and I have an ingrown . The only thing this woman said to me was what color which I as an introvert am okay with but when I pulled my foot back and laughed then apologized because it just tickled and you scoffed at me... I knew right then I would never come back and support this business. And this was only me my daughter had her own experiences. She also didnt get a drink, her lady was annoyed that she didnt want gel toe polish but did on her finger nails, and the next day her gel polish chipped in the shower. I spent a good amount of money and even though there was issues yes I tipped well. But no this place has gone down hill and they dont care. Here is the good and the bad. The Good- You fill out a sheet to indicate the details of your visit, great touch. Nancy was very friendly and has a great attitude. The salon itself is very clean, fancy and comfortable a big plus. Oh and yes they serve DRINKS!!!!! This is the first place in Tacoma/Puyallup I have found that serves drinks, being from Texas I'm surprised more places don't do it. The Bad- Nails by Nancy I got a classic manicure with gel polish, total 32.00. Not the best clean up, my cuticles look pretty bad. The polish doesn't come close to the cuticle, which means it'll grow out a lot sooner. There should be a better system of checking customer out. (There was a cluster of people at the front, I had to form a line and wait for people to be seated before I could pay and leave.) Eyebrows I asked for an eyebrow cleanup which I was not happy with, I had to give a lot of direction and had wax dripped on my hair. Very disappointed and dissatisfied . Had an unpleasant experience today 1/27/2024 at the shop. Nail tech Mao kept running on my skin with the electric buffer almost causing some bleeding. When I told her she said I needed to relax my fingers. She repeatedly continued to do that. I had put down on the service card I wanted a classic manicure which was not done. I asked the cashier the reason I did not get a manicure. She was dismissive and stated, 'we do it next time'. I mean I wanted the manicure today! As if that's was not enough, the lady who was the cashier today at approx 1630hrs also a nail tech ( not the regular polite one) kept telling my husband 'you pay now' several times. My husband was just having a hard time getting his card from his wallet. It is sad because I honestly like this shop . read more

The salon is nice and good location and I didn't wait long but for a gallery pedicure (pretty much a deluxe with paraffin, hot stones, essential oils, scrub and massage) I'd expect they'd scrub me thoroughly or a little longer but my tech seriously only spent 10 seconds on each foot. I'd get a good scrub for a regular pedi somewhere else. Their oils and paraffin smells good though but my disappointment really highlights on the uneven nail polish layers. read more

The lady was so mf rude and was rushing through every nail and would constantly stop and check her phone or count her tips. Every time I pointed out that something didn't look right she would sigh and say okay. At the end, she cut me multiple times and one time really deep on my thumb. I went into my car and it started bleeding really bad, I went back into the salon and the lady who did my nails said "I didn't do that to you," who did then? Should've read the reviews before coming here. Came in (with an appointment) for a mani/ pedi with a friend, was seated on time and they had lots of color options for shellac. I chose the Gallery pedicure, which was the 4th highest pedi option since it had an extended massage; well that "massage" was maybe 10 minutes and wasn't relaxing at all. Paint job was fine, but there was paraffin left all over my feet and almost no dead skin was scrubbed off of my feet. While getting my pedi the nail tech asked if I wanted to try dip instead of shellac, I said sure because I've seen my friends dipped nails and they looked great and lasted longer. I asked her not to trim any of my nails because I knew they'd be filed down anyways and I didn't want them short; she didn't listen at all and continued to keep filing them down so now they're insanely short when they were above my finger. She was also so rough with the drill that she cut me in a few places, even after I told her twice that it hurt. She dipped my nails about 4 times so now they look thick like cheap, short acrylic. I was so unhappy that I soaked them off 4 days later. Definitely won't be returning. read more

I feel like everyone next to me was happy chatting with their tech but mine seemed so bothered to have to do my nails. It made my experience unpleasant. My daughter's experience waa great, she got her nails colored and even got a little lotion massage. She loved her tech. I also did my eyebrows, I think it is the best job I have gotten done in a long time. My only draw back is that I did had to wait for my eyebrows and it was a little confusing as if I was going to get the service or not.. I've gone here a few times and I had a vacation planned so I went to get a pedicure and a manicure. Everything was great until 2 days after and my big toe started hurting... I'm sure you can guess what my next sentence will be. Now 1 1/2 later I'm back home from my vacation and have a raging toe infection. I won't even post a photo cause it's gross. I scheduled a urgent care appointment and they had to pop the infection and give me medication. Now Ive been on medication and doing everything possible to help it heal & nothing is helping. I now made another appointment to hopefully fix this. Avoid going here. Sad cause I always enjoyed going here and always felt comfortable. The set up of this salon is super cute. They have a ton of pedicure chairs and a separate nail station, as well as a separate waiting area. You fill out a form prior to your services, which I think is neat! They write your polish color, your techs name and all prices on it so there are no surprise charges at the end. They even offer a complimentary beverage alcoholic and non alcoholic. The prices here are a little higher than your usual salon but I don't mind it because you definitely get what you pay for! I got a full set stiletto manicure and so far the nails are holding up okay.The tech did well shaping my nails even tho I wanted them really short! I loved their gel polish selection! The pedicures here are AMAZING. I love that there is a removable plastic liner in their pedi tubs! I went with the Royal Pedicure with the lavender and mint scent. The entire pedicure was great and exactly what my dry winter feet needed! The paraffin wax and hot stone massage was heaven! My feet are so soft and smooth! I went in right when they opened Sunday at 11am. There was a line to get in (roughly about 12+ people) most had reservations including myself. It was my first time there. You enter in a waiting room where you get a pad to fill out. You mark what services you wanted . I was there simple for a white and pink fill (ombre style) but due to the last place I went to they had to fix all the nails. My technician that did my nails is named Kelly. She explained how much it would cost due to my nails begging damaged. She asked a lot of questions throughout the process. It was so wonderful. I people watched the whole time. There was at least 20 people in the salon. Each one had their own technician. Each one talking to them, smiling, engaging with customers. Everyone was so friendly, not only that but the place is so very clean. There are no TVs, light lighting and such nice music playing. For my first time coming, I will be back and I will tell my friends about this hidden gem. Simply amazing. read more
