My experience with Dr. Wendy Wong has been 5 star from the first consultation, right up through post surgery. She is the first female plastic surgeon I have met, and it has been a very refreshing change. I have never received such total care (pre and post op) from a surgeon until I met her. She takes her time and listens to your needs and concerns, is very friendly and puts your mind at ease about the work about to be done. She and her staff are helpful in every way, preparing you for a successful surgery with their pre-op regimen. On the day of surgery she came in to say hello and we went over again the plan we had discussed. She was very keen to make sure I was feeling good and not worried about a thing. Came in for a consultation to get chin lipo with Dr. Wilhelm Kienast. My initial consultation was beyond my expectations! Dr. Kienast was extremely informative on the procedure he recommended for me and overall very caring and honest. Marina is the treatment coordinator and was also very friendly, helpful, and caring. During the whole procedure, Dr. Keinast made sure I was comfortable and was explaining every step of the way. He was even playing cool music to keep me relax and comfortable. I had a tummy tuck in January 2024. I was nervous going into surgery, but Dr. Wong made me feel safe before going into surgery. She also introduced me to the staff that was going to be helping her with my procedure. They were awesome. 100% I made the best decision in choosing her. Let me start by saying that I can't speak on all of their practitioners or services, however I received dysport and lip filler and am extremely unhappy with the results and the customer service I received. I have received both of these injections prior to coming to this office so I know how the results usually appear and I did not get the same results from here. I'm new to the city therefore had to find a place to get these done. This place had pretty good reviews so I booked an appointment for dysport. I met with Alicia for this service and explained to her how much I've normally gotten per treatment in the past and how long it lasted, yada yada, she gave me the same amount and I was on my way. However, the results did not last anywhere near as long as they normally do. I'm talking less than a month. I'd already booked an appointment with Katie for lip filler though so I figured I would mention it to her during that appointment. I came in for said appointment last Friday morning and started to give Katie the run down of my lips - what filler I've gotten, how many times, etc. She seemed nice but also like she was trying to convince me to do things differently than I normally would. I ended up just listening to her but truly wish I hadn't. She didn't use a full syringe even though I've always gotten a full in the past and it's never been an issue. At my previous med spa they wouldn't charge you for a full if you didn't use a full, so I figured, "well, at least I'll be paying less". What a joke. After showing her the movement after the dysport she asked me if I'd ever come in for that touch up and I said no since I was already scheduled to come in this time around. She then told me, "don't worry, we'll take care of that today", making it seem like it would be just a little touch up of dysport at no charge, right??? Wrong. When I went to check out, not only had they charged me for the dysport touch up but they charged me for a full syringe of the filler (which by the way, I was never even informed of pricing and I guess I should've asked because they for whatever reason charge $200 more for the EXACT same filler that I used to get in San Diego). When I asked why I was being charged for the entire thing, they stated "that's just how we do it here". I explained if I'd known this, I would've gotten the full syringe to which the receptionist responded she would ask Katie to get me in sooner to inject the rest, after she was finished with her next client. She told me she would call me later that day. I never heard anything. Had to call and leave a voicemail and finally heard back today, to which they told me the rest was thrown out and I'd have to book an entirely new appointment for filler to get any more. Absolutely ridiculous. This is not how you treat clients. ALSO--my lips don't look NEARLY has good as they would after appointments at my previous med spa. The filler even feels different; stiffer, and I'm so upset. I would rather pay a $115 round trip flight to San Diego to get it done right and I'd still be paying less than here. Holly is amazing and changed my life. As silly as this sounds she has. Unfortunately I got my first filler with someone that had no bed side manner and it look less then 5 min. Which I thought was odd.. is this to fast? Hmm.. Then people off the street would ask if I had Bell's Palsy because one side of my lip slanted a lot more than the other. It was so hurtful and made me never smile or even want to look at people and see their reaction to my lips. I did my research and found Gallery Plastic Surgery. Nurse Holly sat with me and explained we would need to start over and she will "work her magic" and LET ME TELL YOU!! Nurse Holly did! *WARNING* Dr. Wong made a major error with the surgical knife that caused permanent damage and a lot of pain. Last year I went in for an in-office labiaplasty procedure. During the surgery, Dr. Wong, removed too much tissue, leaving the most sensitive part of the female anatomy exposed. This was a huge, avoidable mistake that should never happen by a board certified surgeon. For months, she insisted my discomfort was due to swelling, eventhough post-op photos clearly showed the surgical mistake. Last week - a year and a half later - I requested a meeting. Dr. Wong finally admitted she made a significant surgical error. Her exact words were "I'm sorry I made a mistake I'm always trying to improve." To avoid a malpractice court case, we agreed on a financial settlement. It was small compensation for irreversible damage. She offered to try and fix the botched surgical cut. No thanks. I'll be getting an assessment of the damage from prominent surgeon. Meanwhile I'll be reporting her surgery practice and my resulting injury to both the California Medical Board and the Board of Plastic Surgery Ethics committee, along with all documentation, photos and the other surgeon's assessment of what she did wrong. Other than using my middle name here for privacy instead of first name, this review is 100% honest. I feel prospective patients need to be aware of this incident in order to make an informed decision. I'll be updating this review to report on the Medical Board's findings. read more

This place does not even deserve one star. First, if you speak English with an accent, don't go there because they treat you differently, and you will be yelled at quickly. Second, these people are very greedy and don't care about the patients' well-being. You will be forced to receive several procedures simultaneously, and they don't care what you feel about it. No matter how much money you spend there, they will get nasty with you as soon as you resist the tremendous amount of pressure you receive for more injections. Went to Wendy Wong's office for 3 laser treatments to try and get some help with my rosacea that was clearly worsening. I saw Alicia for all of the treatments and she was great.....profesional and personable, very knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, and genuinely cared about making improvements. Before the laser sessions I started out with their line of recommended topical products which made a huge difference with the redness, inflammation, and discomfort. The office was alwyas very clean, and everyone was careful and aware of covid guidelines which was much appreciated. It is not clear what forms you sign before a procedure. The front desk girl just handed me an iPad to sign without showing me the content, and I did not know what it was. I was rushed and forced to sign just a second before receiving a procedure. I never had a chance to learn or read what I was signing for. I am saying I was forced because I asked what would happen if I did not want to sign these unknown forms, and the answer was that they would have kept my deposit. I was forced to sign whatever it was by the threats of chargs. Something that they don't let people know when making an appointment. I think this is a very unethical practice. I feel I was just a wallet for this practice because as soon as I started to ask questions, the manager became verbally abusive and showed a very aggressive attitude towards me. I do not recommend this place for any operation. I also feel the work environment of this practice is toxic and unhealthy. I talked to the manager and saw her attitude and can tell that the work environment under her supervision can be very hostile. read more

I was a bit nervous going in as this was my first ever Botox procedure, but she was so great made me feel very comfortable and answered all the questions I had. She was very patient and did such a great job. Everyone, beware of this doctor. She will make you suffer unnecessarily. Dr Wendy Wong completely forgot about her Hippocratic oath. After my surgery I began having complications from an allergic reaction to the steri-strip tapes used to close my incisions. She made me remove them myself which was extremely painful, I was only 3 days out of surgery. The incisions began separating and eventually opened up so much that another md could not close them up since I had also developed a severe infection. I had to do wound care and have VNA assist with my wound care. Every time I asked doctor Wong for help she would just blow me off. I suffered for 6 weeks when finally I couldn't stand the excruciating pain anymore and had to seek treatment at a nearby hospital. They were shocked to see the infected wounds and were totally outraged that dr Wendy Wong refused to help me. Needless to say I spent so much additional money including but not limited to a hospital visit, wound care, having to take extra time off work , and also needed a breast revision to fix the incisions which had healed incorrectly. Plain and simple Dr Wong refused to help care for me when things started going wrong. Shame on her! read more
