I was given a gift for a mani pedi with Kimmie. It was the best mani pedi my nails have ever seen. However, it was also the longest I've ever been at a salon. I didn't realize it until I left, but I was there 3.5 hours! Way too long with my busy schedule, but damn my toes look amazing. Nice views from the Marina and a comfortable waiting area are also a plus. If you want luscious and bouncy layers, Sandra is the one you'd want for such a haircut/hairstyle. I got my hair cut by Roxanne and it was horrible. Don't even want to show pictures. The first 2 cuts were fine but the last one was horrible. It's choppy. I cancelled my next appointment and she said she could fix it. How???? Can't give me my hair back. Hands down one of the best salons! I have been coming here for over 10 years now for my nails. Kimmie is the BEST!!!! She has been doing my nails for the past 10+ years :) Great service! Being my first time here, it really set me a very good impression from the outside and moreover when I came in. People are nice and welcoming. You have a nice water view with the yachts, a clean and nice ambiance salon and even have coffee/tea station. I came to see Leslie who was recommended by my friend and she did not dissapoint me. Switching hairstylist is a hard decision especially if you've been going to the same person for years and have a very good pricing with wonderful results. I used to pay half of the price I paid here and spent like 6hours for my old stylist to do my hair both color and cut, (which is a trip).. I dont know what the differences are in terms of products and process but I love how Leslie did my hair for a lil bit over than 3 hours. With that in mind, my time and money were worth it. Leslie is friendly, considerate, and a good listener. She made me feel so comfortable the whole time. She speaks to you and explains every single thing she would do and what it suppose to do to your hair. Even the other staff are very nice, the way they work with their clients and make conversations, showing how they have developed relationships already. The salon itself is a relaxing escape from your day with a nice view, glass of wine, chic atmosphere and friendly and smiling faces. Jamie is the best at what she does and always has ideas if I'm feeling stuck with my style. Nina is an incredible colorist and I am so glad I was referred to her by a mutual friend about 3 years ago. I drive an hour out from San Francisco to the salon because Nina is worth it! She is meticulous about her coloring, always helpful with suggestions, and the quality of her work is 10/10. Years ago, I mentioned to a friend that I was having trouble finding someone to color my hair because while I've been blonde for nearly 30 years, I've had significant help keeping the color up for the last 16 years. I am pretty picky about blonde color work, and Nina has always made sure my hair looks natural and grows out beautifully. What inspired this post is that we are three months into COVID and I am about 2 months past my normal appointment time and my hair doesn't even look that grown out. The shadow root she applied at our last appointment is worth about a million dollars because while yes of course my roots are darker, it has all blended so well. Additionally, its worth noting, while Nina was on maternity leave a while back I found someone else to color my hair (at a different salon) and she charged the same amount but did it in half the time and it showed. The attention to detail, thorough application, time, and care Nina puts in is no joke and it is so appreciated! I would recommend her to anyone. read more

Upon a recommendation from a friend I decided to try The Gallery. I was greeted at the door and offered tea or water which I though was nice. The location itself is nice. It's right now the water and you can look out the window at all the boats while getting your hair done. As far as the actual haircut...she did her best to make me happy. She is so passionate about what she does and you can see it in her work and during the appointment. I have long, thick hair and it usually takes her about 3-4 hours to cut and color my hair. Both times I've gone to her I've left very happy! The prices are a little more on the higher side, but it's worth every penny. I had a cut & color yesterday with Nina. It was a last-minute, desperate call by my hair for attention, and I only had one afternoon in which to get it done. The Gallery was able to fit me in exactly the right time slot, and Nina did a great job. First of all, she greeted me promptly, seated me quickly and, after a thorough consult, brought me a glass of wine to enjoy while she began applying my color. My hair is fairly complicated (due to some damage incurred by another application of color), and Amy was able to create a color base that matched and looked very natural, exactly like I wanted. She was very attentive and professional when it came to my cut, meticulous about detail and she listed to what I asked for. She gave me what I wanted exactly. She also did a lovely blow-out which left my hair feeling smooth and silky all day.
