Suki is excellent and very friendly. Positive environment. Highly recommended. $$ very affordable cost.

Sukyi was absolutely wonderful. She got me in between clients at the last minute. Very sweet woman. I love how my hair came out. Great price. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Loveee Suki! She is so sweet and we had such a good chat. She made my Cali vacation trip that much sweeter. Thanks girly. You're the cutest!

Suki was great! She's very detail oriented and knows what I want (Asian hair), and my son loves his haircut and was super happy about it. Be patient with her since she's on her own with everything :) read more

Super colorful lady - very accommodating prompt and friendly - knows how to cut Asian hair. Glad to see she's just in my neighborhood.

On a whim, I wanted to get my hair cut so I pulled up Yelp to assist me in finding a salon that'll rejuvenate the follicles on my head. Come to find out that the place is usually go to has a sad yet honest rating so I thought that I'd take the latter. My second choice was closed on Mondays and I really felt the need to get my hurr did today. So upon querying the word "Hair Salon" in the search, Suki's Hair Salon popped up. I was pretty impressed that all her clients have given her 5 yelp stars and that she was constantly mentioned in the Regis Salon yelp reviews. So I gave a call and she was more than happy to fit me into her schedule. This place is pretty small, cozy, and warm. I really enjoyed Suki's conversation while she was cutting my hair. Her personality is very welcoming. In fact, I admitted my late obsession of Korean food and she referred me to a new Korean Restaurant that just opened two blocks away, she even gave me a coupon of 10% off. I was kinda considering getting bangs but she was able to sway my decision since my hair is course and thick (It would be difficult putting my hair up). I was glad that i took her advice 'cause if she hadn't of reminded me of that I'd probably be crying rite now. I highly suggest Suki if you're still searching for a hair stylist. She also told me that she does color as well so I might be popping in if I feel a bit "audacious." read more

Suki is the only stylist I've ever had who can get my hair to a cool blond tone without damage

First time going here - took my 7 year old son to get his haircut. She took us in as a walk in and was very pleasant with my son. He got exactly the haircut he pointed out in the book she had. He looked like a different kid. I am definitely going to give her a try since I travel all the way to the city to get my haircut done. I will update my post after I do. I have been reluctant to try someone new after having the same person cut my hair for almost 12 years. Unfortunately, the person I used to go to is no longer available. So - I will let you know how it goes when she does my hair. However, I was very pleased with how she cut my son's hair. read more

Suki is so easy to talk to and she's always so accommodating with her schedule and adjusting the cut to my liking. Love her!

I came to Suki's for a haircut after reading the great reviews here on Yelp and I was not disappointed. Suki made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before she began cutting, and also checked with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was happy with her work. She was also very patient and took her time, even though my appointment was later in the say (4pm), which I really appreciated. I have very thick Asian hair so I always opt for layers, but it's often hard for me to find a hair stylist that can do this look correctly. I am really pleased with Suki's work! The layers fall evenly and flatly, and my hair feels much lighter. I definitely plan to come here again :) To top it all off, her personality is amazing. Suki is so fun and sweet, and I had a really good time chatting with her. Haircut was $35 and took about 40 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome, but call and make an appointment to be safe! read more

I have been going to Suki for a year now! She is always on point with my hair color/highlights I've been longing for. I've been complimented numerously on my gorgeous color and cut perfected by Suki. It can take a long time to bond and get your hairdresser to understand what you are wanting to achieve but Suki nailed it! Not only an outstanding professional but also very sincere and warm! read more

I haven't had a haircut in over a year and my godmother and my auntie suggested I go to Suki's, they give nothing but the highest praise for her. So my auntie messaged her for an appointment because she is a busy hairstylist, which is totally okay, I think the next appointment available was 1 week. Which is totally okay because I had no idea what I wanted. So I went with my godmother's mother and my auntie. And Suki's place is cute, clean, and not hard to find, there's parking pretty close by if you can't find parking on the street. Anyways, Suki is the sweetest nicest hairstylist. She's so open and will do her best to make you look awesome! I have super thick dark brownish black hair and everyone I've gone to ((besides my old hairstylist (whose shop closed down) and probably Kenny (from Kenny Salon but he's not that friendly))) doesn't know what to do with my hair. And its even more difficult because my hair had gotten so long. Suki is so kind she asked me what I want, and tbh I didn't know what I wanted, I just had simple instructions, bangs? And very little layers? And not to take off too much? And Suki, she's a magician I swear. She improvised and didn't waste any movements, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for but she made me look fantastic for my head and face shape and hair type. She'll do whats right for you specifially. Because what we want isnt always the best for us, you know? I'll post a pic, but anyways she added fringes for bangs (I wanted bangs on my forehead but she knew that my hair better than I did and improvised fringes which was totally genius because after she said I should show my forehead rather than hide it, I was like that is so true omg) and she changed my hair out of my usual A line and gave me layers at the end of my hair. She told me my hair looked so heavy and i was like omg right???? Now my hair is super light and cute. Oh I forgot to add that I told her I usually put my hair in a ponytail (cuz that's my "I'm busy or working out" hairstyle) and she left a good amount of hair to ponytail up! And she was so kind in explaining during and after what she was doing. She checks up on you the whole time she's cutting your hair. She's the best, I swear. And you can tell she loves her work too. She even gives you tips on what to do like how to style your hair at home. And omg my hair is so versatile now I'm so happy. I feel so pretty! Also, fyi I didn't get a shampoo with my cut so my haircut was $35 but its $45 with a wash. But yeah, I definitely want to get my hair washed next time. I am definitely coming to Suki from now on, she knows how to cut asian hair, thick or thin its amazing! I hope more people come see her because she's crazy good at what she does. And I love the fact she loves all her customers so much, like you can tell she cares about you and I'm so glad I met her :))) Thank you, Ms. Suki!!!! read more

After going through stylist after stylist, Suki has been the only hair stylist to get it right. When she told me she was leaving Regis I was so sad! But luckily she gave me all her contact information and her shop isn't that far from the mall so I was glad to drive to her new shop. I don't know how she does it. She just has this intuition on what looks good on you and what doesn't and she'll really tell you what's best for you. Her cheap prices are a breath of fresh air to my wallet also. She's also a very like able person and very easy to talk to! I highly suggest going here. You won't be disappointed. read more

I had my hair cut by Suki when she was at Regis Salon. When she left to start her own salon, I nearly freaked out about losing another favorite stylist. Luckily I was able to obtain her information and was able to continue going to her. No one I've gone to texturizes hair as good as she does! Since I have really thick, coarse hair, I need a lot taken out of it to lighten it up and give it movement. She always does it just right. I leave her with great shape and style to my hair. And she's the only person who cuts my bangs right. It's never too short or too blunt. Love her! Her haircut prices are great at $29.00 for shampoo, cut and style. read more

I also followed Suki from Regis at the mall. There was a bit of some reluctance on my part because I'm unfamiliar with downtown Fairfield but the location is very easy to find. Suki cuts my hair just as well as she did before. I'm not entirely sure what she does but she adds this amazing shape to my hair even though it's a pretty straightforward fade. It's terrific to not have to be paying so much for my amazing haircut AND to not have any products be pushed onto me. The little waiting area has tons of hair books, magazines, and chocolate! Omg, it freaking rocks when you're waiting for your time and there's some candy to snack on. Schedule and appointment today! read more

i've been looking around for a hair stylist that wasn't going to mess up my hair or not do my hair right because of my hair texture and i thought i'd give this salon a chance because i really liked the name suki haha and when i went for the first time i showed her the pictures i wanted and she said okay i'll do this for you and that is exactly what she did for the first time in my life i felt like someone actually listened to me and did my hair the way i wanted and right thank you suki read more

While out running errands, and with only a day before a special family gathering, I found myself in desperate need of a haircut, so with a quick Yelp search and some reading I came across this hidden gem! All of Suki's reviews are spectacular and she has also been reviewed multiple times on the Regis Fairfield Yelp page, as that was her previous place of work. In a rush, I opted for a walk-in and hoped she would be able to take me. As I was walking up she had just gotten one of her regular customers started with hair curlers, and thought she may not have time to get me in at the same time, but not to worry she took me in and got right to work!!! Before picking up the scissors and clippers Suki made sure she knew exactly what I wanted and even asked if I would prefer clipper, scissors or both, being that my hair is short and some people prefer one look against the other, I found that to be extremely professional and thoughtful. From here on out she continued to be a friendly host and was so quick with the haircut! Keep in mind this all happened within about 25 minutes and I walked out with the best haircut I have ever received and not once did I feel the least bit of discomfort or concern! Thanks so much Suki for your help! I will be back for years to come! read more

I continue to trust Suki with my hair. I always have a great time with her! She did touch-up, highlights, and ombrè this time, and I love how it came out! read more

My first time here and I love the way my hair turned out. I went in not 100% sure of what I wanted, but the lady, Oksun, that did my hair helped me decide and I felt very comfortable with her. I have had bad experiences in the past, so that was my reason for being a little hesitant. I haven't had my hair cut professionally in 4 years. My husband also got his hair cut here and looks great as well and he really likes it. I will definitely be coming back here, and prices are very reasonable. If Oksun does your hair, she only accepts cash, but Suki takes card, keep that in mind when coming! read more

Suki was great! She listened to what I wanted and did not cut too much off the length as I'm trying to grow my hair out. She also gave me some nice layers, shape and style that fit my face shape and personality. Suki is also very easy to talk to. Even though it was my first encounter with her, I felt like I've known her for a long time. Well, this won't be my last encounter because I'll be returning to her once I'm due for another trim. I LOVE Suki! She has been my hairstylist (cutting and coloring/highlights) for the past 5 years and I've been so happy with her work every time. To start, I have always been very picky with my hair and even though I've been living in Stockton for more than 5 years, I have always gone to the Bay Area to get my hair done. Long story short, I'm getting married next weekend and when I went to my usual hair salon in the Bay Area last weekend, my hair ended up having red highlights when I never wanted red highlights...ever. I've been going to the same hair stylist for years and started to panic because I didn't know where to go or who could fix my hair. I live in Stockton but heard of Suki's Hair Salon from a friend and I am so glad I went! She fixed the color from a red/brown uneven color to the perfect, natural medium brown with highlights in half the time of my appointment in the Bay Area. Suki is absolutely amazing and efficient! I'm so relieved to have found my new hair stylist!! Fairfield is so lucky to have her! She is totally worth the drive from Stockton! read more

This was my first meeting with Suki. I had high hopes, but many doubts because I have very difficult hair, it's thin, unruly, curly, and I have multiple cowlicks. She's very friendly, and approachable. I told her what I hoped for, shared a couple of photo's with her, and crossed my fingers. She listens, then shares her opinion, and knowledge to make sure you end up with a cut that is suitable for your face, and that you absolutely love!!! She is very reasonable for her time, and service that she provides. I am very happy with my new cut, and I now have a new hair stylist!! Thank You Suki read more
