Not sure why this place has three stars but my 8oz americano with half and half was perfect and the girl who made it was a total sweetheart.

The Americano I had was taste bud singeing, but still good.

After our 15 day foodie road trip we decided to end it at Dahlia Cove Studio for high tea…read more Located at a little quaint town in Port Gamble. About an hour and a half from where we all live, and one of us from San Diego. We visit every High tea house we can where ever we travel, even local ones in Seattle and surrounding. Out of the country, etc...But we never heard of Dahlia Cove. Only reason why I found this place was because of Yelp. All four of us were pleasantly surprised. You first walk in and they had an array of cute items for purchase. Of course I had to get a teapot necklace. It's a family owned business. The owner and her family were great hostess. Not to mention the food was wonderfully delicious. And we've been to some pretty nice afternoon tea places. This one was one of our faves. It's quite a drive, so it would have to be for special occasions. I would totally take my family here. I know my husband would even enjoy it. The decor was fun. We all loved it. Place was also clean. With some many businesses including tea places closing we hope this place thrives, and stay busy. Until we meet again.

We especially loved the vanilla horchata rooibos and the scones (with clotted cream, lemon curd, and strawberry jam). The service was attentive, without being intrusive. And while the entry space seemed in some brand of transition, the dining room was beautifully quirky - somehow both elegant and playful. We loved it. This was an experience we definitely look forward to repeating in the future. Pro-Tip: If you are stuck, ask the server for recommendations on tea offerings. I tried something I might never have considered, and it was delicious.

100000/10 selection at the bakery. The food is really yummy…read more I like the people there too. Good ambiance lots of seating. Next to a bookstore as well!

Consistently below expectations both with the caliber of their baked products and their flippant…read more"service"-- if you can call it that. First their baked goods are stodgy and not properly executed. Their shortbread tastes like cardboard and is nothing like English shortbread should be. No good butter in evidence here. Their koign amman is not even crisp on the outside. There is something off with each baked item. If you enjoy dump and go style baking that don't require any refinement but are full of American sugar, I think you will feel this is an elite bakery. Otherwise, this is a bad knock off attempt. Scones seem to be chewy and tasteless. I got a "lemon poppyseed" polenta cake where there was no lemon-y flavor at all! It was also heavy and couldn't handle more than 3 bites at a time. Stuck in the gullet. Second their service is appalling. The people behind the counter are all in on some inside ball game and customer service is not their emphasis. They are looking away while half-heartedly asking you what you would like, and more interested in serving up verbal repartees to their co-workers while distractedly trying to complete a sale. You can expect to repeat your order a few times. Then there's the off-handed use of bakery tissue which is not quite neat and hygienic. I mean it's a shambolic operation that gets away with it because there is no competition in Kingston unless you take the ferry across to Edmonds.
