As a tea lover, I was soooo happy to have found this place. The decor is whimsical, the staff was beyond friendly, the tea hit all the right notes...but the food? My goodness! I'll be thinking about that cucumber sandwich for sometime. It was balanced perfectly. And that chicken curry croissant. Yum! Please choose this place for tea time. You won't be disappointed! Plus the shops surrounding this business are absolutely delightful.

I had tea here with a group of friends yesterday. It was a delightful experience and exceeded our expectations. The chicken curry croissant was delicious and the sweet selection was outstanding. The crumpets with clotted cream, lemon curd and berry preserves were so good. The tea pairings all worked so well with the food options! Great service, lovely ambiance and an experience I'm sure we will repeat!

    Interior is whimsical and fun!

We had a wonderful time at afternoon tea at Dahlia Cove. We decided on the chef's choice for tea pairings and thought that all of the teas were excellent and paired well with each of the courses. We enjoyed all of the food, but especially loved the roast beef, Brie and caramelized onion sandwiches, the coronation chicken croissant sandwiches, the plain scone with clotted cream and lemon curd, and the tiramisu petit four. The tea rooms are decorated with a lot of fun paintings and art pieces, and the entire vibe was fancy and fanciful. Service was very attentive.

Such a fun experience to try in Seattle!…read more The staff were outstanding, with Mikey in particular going above and beyond! He made the whole process a blast, walking us through each step with energy and enthusiasm that kept things fun and easy to follow. Even while assisting multiple guests at once, he made sure we always felt supported and never left waiting. Once you're familiar with the process, you'll select a vessel and explore 30+ scent options displayed along a scent wall. The team helps you discover which fragrances blend well together to create your ideal combination. This is where Mikey's expertise really shined! He suggested scents I hadn't considered, and they worked beautifully with my favorite scents. After creating your perfect scent ratio, the oils are blended into wax, and left to set for 2-3 hours. Prices were comparable to other handmade candles you find at farmers markets, plus ELM uses a coconut apricot wax. Be sure to book a reservation, they fill up quick!

I know Elm Candle through work and remembered some of my work colleagues coming here to do a team bonding event. My girl friend was turning 30 and said she would be doing a birthday activity here! Our scent specialist, Mikey was super helpful! They had everything prepared for our ladies to partake in the session and the instructions were on the card which was super cute since it also had a 'Thank You' at the back in support of their small business. You put your name and select which item you want to make. I chose a room spray since I have SO MANY candles at home! Mikey had us choose which container (room spray only had one kind) but candles had a variety. I wanted to make the reed diffuser initially but they were sold out! Next, they had a variety of scents on the wall so you could write those on your card and star your faves! Coffee beans were provided to help with your nose since you smell so many scents! Mikey was so patient with all of us and walked us through the process! I was super pleased with my scents. He evaluated each of our cards, asked us what kinds of scents we are into, and then gathered 3-4 essential oils to smell -- you can mix and match. You can omit one or add another depending on your preferences. We left with cute little bags! It was such a wonderful experience! It's a little pricey but definitely worth it.

Upon entering the store, I was greeted by an unexpected surprise: a dog that seemed to materialize out of nowhere. As someone with a mild dog allergy, this was not a welcome greeting. The dog was persistent in its attention, refusing to leave me alone, which made for a slightly uncomfortable shopping experience. The situation was further compounded by the associates' lack of attentiveness. Despite the store being relatively empty, the staff seemed to be preoccupied with their own tasks, leaving me to fend for myself. I approached one associate, hoping for assistance, but they were so engrossed in their work that they couldn't even spare a moment to check me out for a single item. It was as if I were invisible, a mere inconvenience in their day. The most egregious display of poor customer service came when a female associate was too busy talking with another customer who was complaining about everything. She couldn't even be bothered to check me out for a simple transaction. It was clear that she was more interested in the other customer's complaints than in helping the customers who were actually trying to make purchases. This was a stark reminder of the store's blatant disregard for customer service. The entire experience was not welcoming and this is a 5-star rated store? I don't think so. The store's lack of customer focus and the associates' blatant disregard for their jobs were glaring issues that need to be addressed. I hope this review reaches the right people, as the store has potential, but it needs to prioritize its customers if it wants to keep them. I am not going to be coming back until something maybe improves better.

My friends took me here for my birthday. As tea ladies we go all over the state, different states,…read moreincluding different countries. We go to different places at least four times a year together, or on our own. One of the gals heard about White Branches on IG. I was surprised I never heard of the place. I've researched every place that's serves afternoon or high tea. It was at least a two hour drive each way for us but it was so worth it! When you first walked in the ladies said to me that this is my kind of place. That's because I'm a musical theater actress and when they saw all the items you can purchase that I wear they knew this place was for me. Then walking through the Alice in wonderland looking through the walking glass towards the theater. I felt at home like I wanted to step on stage and sing. I was overwhelmed by all the mask, tiaras, facinators, and gifts you can purchase because I wanted them all. I did spend a pretty penny, but I know that I'll wear them to all my events. But let me tell you about the food. So the last time we went to Victoria BC had high tea at the Empress we were all disappointed because it's not the way it used to be. The food was not impressive. Come to find out they have a new chef. Now White Branches...it was only Holly and Matt who is the owner working. The savories were delicious, the bread was so fluffy, the desserts were every single favorites of mine. They must've known I was coming. Every Mmmm that came out of my mouth. I could eat all my desserts because I was so full so I took them home for my snack. But the best part were the scones. My friend and I had to bring back the scones with the crunchy top that was sweet( I can't remember if it was peach) and soft and warm in the middle. So I took a couple home, my husband and one of my daughters ate them. Don't leave any for me...ugh! But my daughter who has traveled around the world because she's a flight attendant said that it was the best scone she has ever had. I hope Matt keeps that scone because next time we drive up we might order more to bring home. We are planning a spring time tea where will stay the night, see the tulips, then tea at white branches. Btw talk about tea, they had every flavor we loved. Also compared to a lot of the high tea places by where we live. White Branches prices are more reasonable that driving two hours away is worth it.

LOTS of tea options, which I look forward to trying in the future. The tea house is adorably whimsical and would be so fun to host a party at. The staff is the friendliest team I've ever met. I think this will be our monthly mother-daughter spot.
